I want to buy it for my brother for christmas because he keeps saying he wants to complete it because he didnt when he was younger.

i dont know much about computer hardware to be honest. The computer has a 2.0 GB ram and according to the game you need a 64mb or better graphics card to play it and imnot sure if i have one or if i will need to buy one. i have plenty of space but not sure i have the system requirements of the graphics card.

will my computer be able to play it or will i need to buy a graphics card first?

reps to all

Go to run, type in dxdiag, click on display, screeny what pops up and post it here.
EDIT: Or better yet, just go to sysreqlabs.com

You'll be fine with that for San Andreas.

You have internal graphics card so yea I'd buy a 5770 or better. 9800 or 8800 are still good cards if you find them used cheap.

You'll like computer, way better graphics then 360(depending on what card you have) more fun. Steam has a lot of 99cent game sales. I think the 360 is comparable to a 7600gt graphics card(not very powerful).

yeah i definately think the next generation of consoles will be gaming computers although i play on 360 because it is easy to chat to your friends and stuff. i am going to try and pick up a graphics card over the next month or so i will try amazon for one. thanks for your help anyway i just need to downlod the game and then i am ready to go. i dont usually play games on my computer because it pisses me off when my screen cuts off some of the game mode. like when im on internet i cant see the scroll bars or anything
