A little story leading up to where I am today and why I've decided to take the Lonely Road to Hell, (LR)HRT...

I remember way back, growing up in my hometown. The road less traveled was where I was bound. Lifting and my life had never been a contradiction; it was more of an addiction paired with my ambition. You could say that it was the perfect situation.

It had been years on that road but I persevered through the blood, sweat and tears on that road. I could hear it in my soul so I stayed dedicated. This dream was hard enough to chase so you can keep your liquor. That buzz wouldn’t help me progress any quicker. This burning desire would have required the whole fire department to extinguish my fire. See my lifts a year ago, I’d say my improvements drastic.

However, my fire slowly began to die down this semester at school. I had left what I needed for what I temporarily wanted.

The party atmosphere isn’t always what it seems; in reality the liquor was a pistol. Unfortunately I traded my dreams and my potential to escape through that buzz. A month of this, I’m in the same place, no progress made, feeling like a failure… it’s not conducive to becoming an Animal.

Sometimes you have to take a step back to take two steps forward. I am my maker and when I’m older, I’ll be more disappointed by what I didn’t do than by what I did. It’s time to drop the waste that weighs me down.

I was up in heaven for a second but I fell to hell after. My dreams are hard enough to chase so you can keep your liquor. Even addicts can’t **** with the speed I’m about to exceed. This isn’t limitless, this isn’t even Adderall, this initiative is all natural. Fueled by the motive to sip on life and drink my dreams. The downfalls I encounter sculpt the person that I am today. These enlightening experiences will only help me implement more efficient protocols to achieve my goal.

Completing this cycle, I’m finally leaving what I temporarily wanted for what I needed. It’s time to drop the waste that weighs me down cause this just isn’t working. The lonely road to hell is where I’m headed, cause where I’m coming from is a place of no return.

When you eat, you should be thinking about fuel, not taste or convenience.
You will eat 6 meals per day, about 2-3 hours apart.
HRT training isn't something you just pick up and cruise through. Your lifestyle will change in this program.
In the end, you'll find that every trip through hell is a solitary quest. But, I went there and returned stronger.

For these first two weeks, I'm going to be working out Wed/Thr/Sat/Sun because of the hectic scheduling with schooling.. So first workout will be today. Really looking forward to it and blowing off some stress on the weights.

Workout Notes
-Slow 5 seconds on negatives.
-These workouts... kicked my ass.
-I'm not accustomed to doing multiple exercises per body part nor am I used to focusing on negatives for multiple reps at the end. I'm used to doing compound exercises for lower reps.
-Since this program isn't about strength but rather hypertrophy, I'm not too worried about the weight I'm moving as long as I push myself to my limits.
-185 easy on the first 8 but surprisingly the last 6 reps doing 5 second negatives, intense.
-This is going to be a fun journey

Update
Sorry for the lack of updates through this past week. Finals at school required a lot more work than I anticipated. However, school is now done and am on winter break. First workout with the shoulders, caused a sharp pain in my left shoulder that would cause a lot of irritation whenever my arm was raised above my head. Kept me from the gym, although it's now feeling 100%.

Updates will be how they should have been; consistent, detailed, and full of awesomeness.

Webcam is being unreliable currently, will have my video up tomorrow. Going to find a gym tomorrow as well to sign up with for a month. Hopefully the rates aren't too expensive :D

One of them, yes. We've only done one workout with it; shoulders. He seems to like it, a lot different that what he's done in the past. Also had him use Rage, which he didn't enjoy the taste although as of now, he likes it more than White Flood in terms of the performance rating.

We both took a half scoop straight to the mouth, you need to try it.

I've been sick this past week, finally feeling better today though. All of my roommates were sick when I got back from school and was hoping I wouldn't get sick as well. Unluckily, I did.

I've been sleeping 12-15 hours per day and feeling like, crap. As I said, feeling better today and will resume working out :) Thus, my weight is down a little more than I was hoping.

Rage hits you hard, especially when administered in that fashion. You just can't f*ck with the results.

Now that you're feeling better, get back in there and blast it.
