not sure what kinda container you got, but my container says it doesnt matter when you take it

i would take it before for energy or after while your muscles need it the most

Mostly i've heard that it doesnt matter, but occasionaly i've stumbled accross people saying pre workout and post workout are the best times, so these are when i take it. 5g with my pre workout meal and 5g in my post workout shake. I know all you need is 5g a day, but 10g a day isnt nearly enough for anything bad to happen.

Creatine is absorbed in the muscles, therefore it doesn't matter when you take it.

There are "broadvices" that say take it after workout with sugars so it is absorbed easier, however no study proves this.

so ima say pre workout/morning

First off,you should load,it just makes the process faster. The reason for doing the maintenance phase is to maintain the levels of creatine in your muscles.

Both of these are the best posts ITT by miles.

It doesn't matter what time of the day you take your creatine, or what liquid you mix it with. Just consistently ingest 3-5 grams per day and you will be fine. Heck, you can even get by fine with just 5 days a week.

At any given point during the day. When I was on it I'd take it in the morning and before training. Never take it with a protein shake, as your body cannot process both creatine and protein, and you just end up expending both.

You want to be taking it straight after a workout bro... but not with water. I go with apple juice, creatine is worthless unless combined with an insulin spike.

So much broscience.. So little evidence.

Theres some evidence that creatine should better be cycled because after some time your creatine level will go down again if you continue using it. Research in humans is a scarcity regarding cycling unfortunately.

Thats why taking creatine with insulin spike or doing a loading phase doesn't make sense. If you just use 4-5 g / day your creatine levels will be at maximum after ~ 1 month. Then you got another month to use creatine before you should stop taking it for ~ 4-6 weeks.

If you load up, the phase where you need to stop taking it just comes quicker. Thats why theres no need to load up or try to get the creatine in your muscle more efficiently, it will happen with 5g / day just as effectively if you give it a month and the effective time will be the same either way.

Just take it the way you like, if you believe in cycling (I do but theres not a lot of research on both views) its all the same.

What do you mean, you don't feel it at all? What are you expecting to feel?

Have you been journaling your lifts? Have you been monitoring your body weight with making zero changes in nutrition or exercise levels?
