It wouldn’t simply be enough for Bodybuilding.com to present this Animal training series, HELL RAISER TRAINING. It wouldn't be enough to outline the many merits of this HRT system, and to leave the program out there to be speculated upon and played with by this community with no real guidance. At Animal, we live life in the trenches, so we’re issuing a challenge to those brave enough to accept. We’re ready to get our hands dirty and get down to the business of getting you big, and in doing so, we’re raising the stakes—we’re turning it into a friendly little competition.
If you have the balls and can meet these simple criteria, you’re eligible…
- You must have a training partner; your trainer partner must also be a BB.com/Bodyspace member
- You must be willing to keep a daily BB.com forum log covering your split, diet and supplementation plans (same for your partner)
- You must provide a weekly video summary log
- You must have a minimum of 2 years training experience
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older
- You must live in the US and have a US mailing address
- You must be in perfect health in order to undergo the rigorous HRT method
Man up, commit to twelve weeks of toil, throw your hat in the ring and if you and your partner make the final cut of hardcore iron warriors (10 teams of 2), Rage and his HRT Disciples will personally mentor you through the program the entire way.
Your HRT journey will be supported by a generous Animal supplement care package from start to finish… And at the end of this road, there is also a pot of gold. we'll talk more about that later. The good news is, the best prize will be progress, growth and a new physique. The bad news is, you may need a new wardrobe.
The participant who has the heart and dedication to stay the course, do the detail work (detailed training logs and video journals) and who makes the most dramatic progress, documented via before and after photos will win the grand prize.
So it’s that easy. To officially enter, post in this thread and tell us a little bit about yourself, how you're an Animal, and why you should be chosen to be sponsored by Animal for a 12-week journey through hell and we’ll pick the most compelling stories to join in the mayhem. The deadline for entries is 11/29/11.
So what are you waiting for?

Same boat as the others, no partner that is committed enough to go through with something like this. Finally hit the 2 year mark of lifting experience this month. The animal site/forum was what started off my lifting career, mad respect to everyone that competes in this contest as well as the Universal athletes. The partner thing will make for a some great videos and probably better results, I've always thought that training with someone extremely dedicated would be beneficial. Looking forward to seeing the results,

What's up animals, I'm 20 years old and have been training for almost three years. To me Animal is a state of mind every time I set foot in the gym I want to get bigger and stronger or else I'm just wasting my time and to accomplish that you need balls to the wall intensity and that's the only way I train. I think I deserve to be chosen because quite simply I'm committed, 150% training is my life, it's an addiction that I can't control. Every day I wake up and pound down my meals counting down the hours untill I'm in the gym, and everynight I go to bed thinking about what I'll be training tommorow. There's a little bit about me animals and I hope that I'm chosen to undergo this journey.

My partner and I are in week two of HRT, and we should definitley be considered for the contest.
We're two college students, and we're so committed to HRT that we've scheduled our lifting around two class schedules work schedules, and four different gyms (due to different hours of operation) in order to be able to lift together for all four HRT training days. Sometimes we go late at night and get kicked out of the gym at midnight, but commitment is a big part of getting this. We have two years lifting under each of our belts, and are college seniors. I'm 20 years old. I've done more research on bodybuilding than what I'm supposed to be studying in school. I'd skip class or work before I skip a lift. We made the 12 week commitment, and unless one of us gets hit by a bus or something, you can bet that we're in there no matter what. I'd love to participate in the contest, but I plan to finish the HRT program either way, as I've never been challenged by a routine the way I have with this one, and that's a good thing. I eat 6 big meals a day (chicken, fish, eggs, and brown rice. Throw in veggies whenever I have time for a snack). I'm a broke college kid, and all of my cash goes to food and supplements. This is the only sport I've ever been good at, and I really want this opportunity to compete. Let us do the contest. We're already on our way to Swolestopia.

Hello brothers,
I have been interested in the HRT program ever since I came across it on the FORVM. I strive to grow, gain, and progress in the gym. I've been training for a little over three years. I'm a junior Criminology and Criminal Justice major and currently train with a good buddy of mine. We hit the gym five days a week with two days rest. We eat our meals together; pounding down the unlimited food we have access to in the dining centers.
I feel that keeping the daily logs and submitting the weekly videos wouldn't be a problem at all. We don't mess around in the gym, we get in -- do what we need to do -- and get out. I feel we both would be excellent candidates for this opportunity.
Happy training,
Kyle

This peaks my interest. As you guys know, my life blows at the moment. Pretty disgusted with myself. With classes coming to an end, a long winter break, and a straight shot to the Arnold, this might be just what I need.

My workout partner and myself would love a new challenge something to push us to the next levlel. I've been lifting on and off since Jr. High and roughly 2 years ago got serious about lifting again. I went to the doctor jumped on the scale and weight 363lbs in april 2010 with 50% body fat. Since than I have dropped down to 270lbs with roughly 29% BF. I'm currently killing it in the Kris Gethin 12 week program and hit it hard at 5 days per week with heavy ass weights and 2 off days with intense cardio. This is my second time with his program but wouldn't mind switching to something new. I'm currently keeping a daily log of all my exercises, macros, and thoughts for each day even off days. Unfortunately the log is not on bodybuilding.com but I can provide a link via PM to you on my current 12 week log. Both myself and my workout partner love pushing ourselves to the edge and beyond. To be honest I'm not in it for the supplements would much rather have the one on one contract with a pro to help me grow. I've become addicted to lifting and have catered my work schedule and life around it. My main goal is to grow and improve my overall health.

same here. my wife is my training partner, best i ever had and damn strong but i cant risk injury to either one of us due to negatives.
EDIT: After watching the videos again and again i know my wife can spot me on this style of lifting.

I would love to try out the HRT workout; I'm always looking for something to make me bigger and better in the gym. I have over 3 years of lifting experience in the gym; I've been doing it ever since I was the 'little guy' in high school. I graduated at 130lbs. in 2008 now I’m around 180lbs., and this year I just started lifting to compete in my colleges yearly bodybuilding show. Keeping the log would be very easy because it’s something that I got started on early in my lifting to make sure I do everything as efficiently as possible. I have a workout partner that hits the gym consistently with me, 5 days a week at a set time everyday to work out around our class and study schedules. Every time I'm in the gym I try to envision my goals to give me that extra push to keep going, and I think this would be another great motivator to take myself as well as my workout partner to the next level with our bodybuilding goals. We are both undoubtedly dedicated to lifting and would be extremely grateful to be chosen for this contest to prove it, thanks.

I would love to be a part of the HRT Contest. and here is why.
I am a certified personal trainer and i am training for my first bodybuilding competition which is coming up in may 2012. So i am bulking right now and trying to get huge. I'm 19 years old, 185lbs and about 11% bodyfat. My training partner is also a personal trainer at my job and hes trying to get huge as well. hes about 22 years old. Him and I practically live in the gym, both have computer access and can easily make video logs once a week. As a trainer we know how to push ourselves and eachother and we both have our motives to get bigger. for me its my competition coming up and for him its to change the way he looks. We do not have any health restricitons, and we can promote universal animal while we train because we are personal trainers and we also sell retail at our work, ( bally total fitness) and we do carry the universal animal line so we would be able to promote that as well. I guarantee no one is more motivated and dedicated than me to get bigger, i will get bigger with or without the hrt. we both have low bodyfat so we will eat as much food as possible to keep our body anabolic and to maximize the hrt. again, the gym is our life. we dont care if it burns, we dont care if we are tired, we are either 100% in our we dont belong in the gym, we need to train harder than everyone else in order to look better than everyone else. two personal trainer, with nothing to lose that want to get bigger, now thats a great combination to get bigger and stronger!

Sucks because I wish I had a training partner to begin with. Most cannot keep up with my pace. I have a friend who can help me maybe once or twice a week and spot me, but she will not enter the contest or create a bodyspace account. I am doing the supplements, I started the Animal PAK, NITRO,and FLEX about 2 weeks ago. I take Rage as well. My joints and soreness feel better since I have been on Animal Flex.
Good luck to those who participate. People who lift like I do workout solo, because people look at me crazy while I workout. Now I got to find a partner who can last for 12 weeks. lol HRT is not for the weak, and unfortunately more weak then strong at the gym. Damn!

It's a shame you're requiring the 2 years of experience...
After hitting 375lbs I decided that enough was enough and joined a gym with my training partner/roommate in June. Even though my diet is awful I've dropped 28lbs and gained some significant size back in my legs, arms and shoulders. My partner had a motorcycle wreck in spring of 2010, which caused him significant damage to his knee and wrist/hand. He wasn't a big guy to start with and after the atrophy from surgery and not eating he dropped down to 135lbs. Since then he's built back up to 172lbs and gained a lot of strength but wants more.
We have very different body types, and exceptionally different goals (gaining vs losing weight). However we have one goal in common, we both want to be BIG, and we want it by June 2012. I'm shooting for 250lbs-ish and he wants 210-225lbs.
I have a lot of experience lifting from my high school football years, and I've been applying that to our workouts up until 2 weeks ago. I saw the HRT program and got pumped about switching to something this intense. Even though I haven't lifted in 7 years until this past June, and he doesn't have but about 8 months total under his belt, we both have the balls to take this challenge. We've been gutting it out for the last two weeks and we're already seeing improvements. Even though we don't qualify, we're taking the challenge and we'll show up a lot of chumps who won't finish out.

Hey I just saw this great opportunity and would like to be selected. My partner and I meet all of the criteria and we would make great candidates. We both started lifting for sports in high school and now we are both in college. I am a sophomore and he is a freshman. We are both looking to gain a ton of mass and we have been looking for a program to help us. Thats when my lifting partner found HRT. We are very excited to stat the program and see what kind of gains are possible. We both work very hard in the gym and I guarantee with the right supplements and program we will put on sizeable gains!
My partner and I make a great team because we always push each other to our max in the gym. We also keep a log of what we eat and it wouldnt be a hassle to add what supplements we are taking to that and send it to you guys. We are extremely dedicated and also extremely healthy.
Please select us as candidates for the HRT training program. I know that we will show significant results!

Interested. I would like to enter, as well. Me and my partner have been lifting together for about 1 1/2 years. I've been training a little over two years(seriously,& 1 year of training I wouldn't consider seriously) and my partner has been on and off for four years(last two years he's been dedicated). Lately we've been looking around at new things and HRT really sparked an interested for both of us, as we both prefer heavy, intense sessions. We are both very dedicated and would love this opportunity. I actually just purchased a web cam a few weeks ago, too & have ran logs prior so I'll have the experience in that category. I actually just found this contest and am glad because I was going to start HRT anyway, but this would defiantly make it more interesting. Me and my partner are practically brothers, which will allow us to push each other in & out of the gym.

My training partner is RBowman91, he has already posted, I thought I would get on here and tell you why you need us in the contest.
First off, I meet all the eligibility requirements; Keeping logs and a strict regimen is no problem for me. I also have the balls, in fact some say they are too large. I am a full time student (accounting major), though I may be busy- I always make time for the gym.
Take for example, over the summer I was sent to another state for my internship. I was only there for 2 weeks and actually worked over 120 hours during that time. Not only did I make time for the gym, but because the hotel gym was inadequate, I got a membership at a 24 hour gym and went 10 times. I may be a fun guy, but I am serious about my lifting.
Every time I go to the gym I push myself further. I love the feeling of a good pump. I have the ability to keep to a schedule and the discipline to record proper notes and diet- I already do that anyway. Rbowman91 and I are already doing the HRT program and are thoroughly enjoying it. We plan on doing the 12 week program regardless of whether or not we get backed. But it would be great to see what we could do when we have support from Universal Nutrition. I want to be in this contest, but more importantly I want to win it.
Did I mention I have a beard?

Awesome! Stay tuned.

If you choose me and Thorlakson15 we will definitely be committed and can help inspire everyone else out there is wants to put on size. Thank you.

Pain is just pain... nothing more. This routine looks solid and im willing to bet the farm EVERY ONE that sticks it out for 12 weeks will not be disappointed. I tried the hellcentrics today on leg press and my god i love it! I also tried it on biceps the other day... my biceps felt like they were going to split open!
Can this routine be used during a cut cycle? There is a show in march im aiming for and really want to use this program for it.

Me! and my buddy Clayton, (clayk123 on here). I immediately contacted him once I saw this.
Why us? We have been working out together ever since our junior year in high school, from the start we wanted to make a dramatic change in our physques, within a year of training we put on a good amount of muscle mass, impressed everyone. But hey, it doesnt stop there, everyday we continue to make our physques better and better, its a day by day thing, wait no, its a "meal by meal" approach. No screwing around here, we know what works and what doesnt, we arnt the typical gullible trainies that you see in the gym. We mean business, and HRT is something we must....no...we will try! Notice how I said "try"...because I dunno if we can make it from hell and back! Count us in! To hell we go!
I have a camera ill use for this contest for both of us, and we can make detailed workout logs, and I mean detailed. We've been doing this for a good amount of time now, we need something intense!! HRT looks to be our answer!

My roommate and found the HRT workout while we were looking for a new plan to try. We've both been lifting weights for several years and are so pumped to go through the program. We always keep detailed workout logs so recording every day online will be easy and we're both extremely committed. We've worked our class schedules so that we can lift together and cant wait to get started pumpin out some hellcentric reps! We've worked hard to make the gains that we have, and used different supplements all throughout. Animal supplements would be great for us to keep makin progress and earn you all some more dedicated fans. Either way, win or lose, we are going to power through all 12 weeks, no excuses!

My workout partner told me that you guys were going to be offering a chance for a select few to log the HRT program and your line of supplements for 12 weeks.
Currently my workout partner and I are running the Kris Gethin 12 week program (this will be our second time through it). When we complete our current program we had planned to start the 12 week HRT program immediately following. Currently both of us are running all Controlled Lab Products for example:
Orange Triad (multi)
Oxi-Mega (fish oil)
Purple Wraath (BCAA)
Green Magnitude (Creatine)
Glycergrow (pumps).
Currently we are both keeping a detailed log of all our exercises the types of workouts, the weights we lift, and the rep range. We also log our entire food intake for the day (CARBS, PROTEIN, FATS, and CALORIES) and which supplements we take. We workout religiously 5 days per week with HEAVY ASS WEIGHTS in addition to cardio twice daily (7 days per week). My workout partner and I are diligent as a team and individually when meeting our gym schedule obligations. We have a no excuse attitude when it comes to our gym routine. We go out of our way to make each other feel guilty if one of us misses a workout session even if it’s due to illness.
A little background on myself I haven’t really been into lifting until roughly 2 years ago. I’ve lifted on and off since high school but have never really gotten to serious about it in the past, I was tall and really skinny so my confidence in the weight room was zero. Two years ago my current workout partner approached me and asked me if I wanted to get into shape, At that time I weighed roughly 228lbs and had 28%+ BF. I told him sure not knowing what I was getting myself into. He has motivated me to stop drinking, stop smoking, stop partying, and all around change my life style for the better. The guy is a workaholic in the gym and can never seem to lift heavy enough for his satisfaction. Currently I’m down to 200lbs and have roughly 20% BF my goal is to be at 220lbs and have my body fat in the low teens by summer 2012. I simply want to bulge my physique more and maintain this new healthy lifestyle to show others that with hard work and determination success is just over the horizon.
A little background on my workout partner he was well over 360lbs and had roughly 50% body fat 2 years ago. He has since than busted his ass to get down to 270lbs. All I can say is the dude is a beast in the gym and never has any excuses. He is constantly riding my ass about lifting heavier and increasing the weights every workout.
Here are a few before and after pictures of myself and my workout partner
Me roughly 2 years ago
We both really hope you choose us and if you do I promise you we will both deliver the ANIMAL results that you’re looking for. We have but one mantra and motto we live by daily: Leave all excuses at the gym door and lift heavy ass weights or stay home.

Hey rage im down! Me and my partner ( tj showtime) we are in week 3 right now!. I am ready. Im willing and able to do the logs, vids, and whatever else it takes. Im an animal because im hungry! Im a dude trapped in a chicks body.lol i have the drive and i love the competition, challenge, and the intensity of this program! Im 26 years old. I got into weight training and bodybuilding at the age of 8. I idolized my brother in law he used to compete in strongman competitions. I always wanted to be like him. This hrt has been the biggest challenge ive endured so far and i love the pain,i love leaving the gym feeling bruised and tattered.lol wake up and do it again.me and my partner should be chosen because we are a rare breed of chick. We can bang with the big boys at the gym. We are innovative,we bring new **** to the gym. Ive put a couple of serious guys on to hrt and they love it. Even if we dont get sponsored im still finishing this for my own goals.i have nothing but time to dedicate to this. My only job is running the kennel business with my partner. If we make the cut, i cant wait to get on some real supplements and see what type of transformation i can make, and to gain as much knowledge from you as possible! Thanx in advance rage!!

Another couple hats thrown in the ring. This is starting to heat up now.

I see it wouldn't let you post the pictures lol. Don't sweat it here they are
my big ass a few months ago it's still a work in progress
Great stories and work ethic. Strong candidates in this thread.

Damn what an opportunity. I have the "pleasure" of working with the mad scientist Rage in the past and the amount of knowledge I have learned is unbelievable. so those of you that have the "stones" this is an opportunity that you shouldn't miss. I like a few others have posted, train by myself most of the time, but I did have a question for you if you don't mind. Either Rage or Rev8ball, Have you tested the effects of HRT on those of us that focus on the powerlifting game? I would be interested to see how my lifts would be effected. Sorry I know its a little off topic, but Rage knows I am always looking to learn to I figured I'd ask.

Me and my bud nextbigthing1 are decently strong too, so the videos we make will be worth wild! We started more so as powerlifters but now we are just bodybuilders. Expect to see 500 pound deadlifts, 365 pound incline pressing, and more heavy lifts! We bring intensity to a new level, plus the addition of hrt, man I dunno what to expect!

So lets consider this our "official" entry into 12 weeks in HELL!
It's gonna be my and my big bro chefDBIG taking on this challenge. I am 24 years old and is he 29. I currently work in the financial industry as a Mortgage Lender while my brother works in the non-stop world of food as Head Chef of the nicest restaurant in town.
Here's my story: I've been training for the last 6 years. I began with a partner, but unfortunately he dropped out due to injury after injury. From there on out it was just me making mistakes and learning how to lift making the most progress within the last couple of years. I realized the more I learned about lifting the more I really go into it and now I am training to become a Personal Trainer. I really don't have an "addictive" personality but if you ask anyone they will tell you I am addicted to the gym. I thoroughly enjoy going to the gym every day and feeling that burn and that pump. The days I don't go, you know everyone needs their rest, I can't wait to get back in and keep hitting that iron. I wanted to try HRT because I have always been trying to put on some solid mass to bring me around 200 lbs. Obviously, hasn't happend yet but I think HRT will be the key to achieving that. When it comes to my fitness and working out I become an ANIMAL! The moment I step into that gym it's game on and either hop on board or get the hell outta my way. I have the dedication, willpower, and drive to stay the course and get to that pot of gold and still want more.
Here's my brothers story: He's been lifting on and off for the last 5 years. He's had the functional capacity of one lung since he's been a kid, one hell of a case of asthma, and severe ecsema. All he's heard since he was a boy was, "You can't do that...Don't do this...You can't because of your health...blah blah blah." Since the first time he heard that it hasn't stopped him. He pushed his way through the years joining every sport he wanted to baseball, football, basketball and never once stopped to ask for pity or use his health as an excuse. This is something he has carried with him to this day playing every year in an all men's softball league. Why is he an ANIMAL? Well his job consists of literally being on his feet all day constantly moving and hardly breaking. Since we started HRT he's worked 55-60 hours a week, some of that 12-14 hour days, and still gets up at 5:30 am to get his ass in the gym and push himself. On top of that he has two boys and a wife at home who keep him on his toes. He wants to do this program because he has been known as the guy who starts a program and never finishes and wants that all to change...now! He wants to journey through HELL and come carved out a new man!
So HELL....here we come...if Rage his Gatekeepers let us through.

I'm down for this and definitely a good consideration for the contest. I'm 22 and have been training seriously since 2008 and am currently a senior at the Military College of Vermont. I will commission in the US Marine Corps when I graduate and am looking to compete in a show in late summer 2012 before I start my Marine Corps training. I have a training partner who just returned home from Afghanistan and is looking to get things jump started in the gym again and this is just it..he has the lifting experience as well. We our both dedicated and 12 weeks of intense training is a easy task for the reward that will come out of it so pick us and be ready to see results because we will not fail !!

No matter how our missions are, no matter how hard our missions end up being we always make time for the gym at the end of the day. That's what being an ANIMAL to me is, having the heart of animal! An animal could be tired, an animal could be exhausted and hurting, but when the time arrises for it to attack none of these factors matter. That's how i feel when it comes to getting in shape for me and my partner. I'm not sure if we can enter the contest because we are currently in afghanistan, but would love the chance. I am currently training very vigorously to get my body in shape for special forces and i think a program like this would get me in perfect shape for such a thing. I have been working out with my partner for over 5 years now and we will never stop no matter where life takes us.

Hey Animals, me (eaglebaseball25) and my partner (bigjay23) are both 18, and have lived in the small town of Hobbs, NM our whole lives. We should be chosen for this life changing experience for multiple reasons. We both have been around the gym for about 4 years, and all we know is hard work and dedication. In the past we haven't been to serious about bodybuilding, because I for one had been really into playing baseball, but recently I have decided to drop that and focus completely on bodybuilding. In the past we had just been going to the gym to build muscle not really changing our nutrition much. But for about the past year we have gotten real serious about bodybuilding and the grueling lifestyle that it has become for the both of us. We go to school, go to work, then the gym, and all we think about during those times is hitting the gym as hard to exceed our limits each and every day. For about the past 3 months we have been strictly on a bodybuilding diet, that is 6-7 meals a day every 2-3 hours and have seen significant results. We are so dedicated to bodybuilding and to improve our physique not only for ourselves but to inspire others of everything they can do and become if they set there mind and heart to it and overall just believe in themselves. We are currently both attending college to become personal trainers and make animals out of those who have the heart and desire to do what it takes. We would greatly appreciate this once in a lifetime oppurtunity to become the animals we want to be. I believe we are both animals because we have the heart and dedication of a champion to go day in and day out with no excuses. We go into the gym with a plan of attack that were going in there to get a job done not to walk around and waste time visting with the other members there. This would be an amazing journey to go through if we are chosen to be one of the 10 teams for this competition. We thankyou for taking your time to do this and give these teams an opportunity of a lifetime. If we are picked you will not be let done one bit by our desire, heart, dedication, and overall blood sweat and tears that will go into this grueling transformation.

I didn't really mention my story so here it is fairly quickly:
I played alot of video games through highschool until I found myself at 232 lbs as a freshman in college.
Since then, I changed my way of living dramatically. My diet is clean enough to eat off itself. I hit the weights extremely hard with my partner throughout the school-week. I'm down to 185 with 10-12% bodyfat and continuing to put muscle on while shaving the fat off. My school ID still shows the photo of me from freshman year and people agree I have completely changed. I've used a handful of Animal products and I know firsthand they don't joke around. I'm not messing around either and I definitely feel that both my partner and I can deliver some skin stretching results while doing this HRT program.
CalebRyan is my partner. Forgot to mention that also.

My name is Adam Nozum and I saw the add for the HRT training program and was immediately excited. I started out with lifting when i was 13 and I am now 19. I saw so much progress and in 3 years I started competitive when I turned 16. I was an active member of the United States Powerlifting Federation (where i competed at 181 lbs) when training for one contest I injured myself and needed 2 knee surgeries (one on each knee) and one on my tailbone. The surguries were spread apart so much I was recently just cleared to start lifting a couple of months ago. I am now 208 pounds and I would like to take this oppurtunity to get back to where I was, build muscle, strength, and insane gains.

I’ve previously posted in this thread but this is my official post for the contest entry. I’ve been in the world of fitness/bodybuilding for a long time, on and off. I am a fulltime college student, in my 3rd year of schooling. My serious dedication to lifting came about over two years ago but I’ve been practicing it my whole life. I am 5’7 and between 150-155 lbs. Besides going to the gym and killing my body, I also enjoy some recreation soccer. Training has never been the issue, and I can come to commitment to do any type of workout. My main problem arises with the nutrition but that is coming along the way as well as I’m learning what I have to eat to see more results. I love the Animal lifestyle. I take animal pak, stak, and universal tribulus. I have tried Rage before but I grow immune to PWO’s and have to keep switching them out. Currently I’m on Muscle Warfare’s Napalm, and it’s not too bad for now. Also I consume mass gainers, and protein shakes. Every now and then I will also do a creatine cycle, and that proves to do pretty well on me. My partner and I joined a Powerhouse gym a couple of months back with 24/7 hour memberships and go to the gym 7 days a week. Now most people think it’s rough on the body with no rest, but I just have to be at the gym, and without it, my day just feels incomplete. Recently I’ve been diagnosed with minor scoliosis and have had some physical therapy. I feel fine and this has never stopped me from doing any type of workouts. I feel great now after a few weeks of rest and muscle relaxation. We want to be part of an even more advance animal lifestyle, and will start the HRT workout plan even if we are not selected for it. The level seems extreme and rewarding. Animal has never failed to disappoint me, even if not selected I will continue to use products and the lifestyle. Happy lifting brahhs.
My partner is Affair .

I’m an animal. My life began three years ago when I fully committed to the fitness lifestyle. Growing up I was overweight and ridiculed. The hardest part of my journey was accepting delayed gratification. I began my journey weighing in at 245lb and 26% bf. Even though I let my body go downhill, I begin college at age 16 and received my A.A upon turning 18. I was fully committed to the world of academia and now it was time to fully commit to the fitness life. I am a full time college student so I had no time to go to a conventional gym. My solution? I got a 24/7-gym membership at baileys powerhouse. Time was no longer an excuse. The next step was proper nutrition. I began eating a high protein moderate carbohydrate diet that consisted of 6 clean meals a day in which I prepared each Sunday for the week. Meal consistency is a must. With my nutrition in check I began researching bodybuilding and consulting fitness experts on proper weight training. I workout seven days a week, that seems too much for the body but I work out each body part once a week. This is what works best for me and this routine has been most promising for my body. I use animal pak, animal stack, and animal cuts and whey protein. Water is the only beverage I consume. I love the animal life style. I eat breath sleep and **** the gym. Currently I am 6’3 and weigh in at 187lb with about 10% bf. My transformation was tough but it is just getting started. I am looking forward for consideration into the HRT contest and would consider it an honor to partake in the epic 12-week journey. Me and my partner are ready and waiting for your green light.

I'm in. My partner and I have run HRT before and both seen some amazing results although I had to stop do to having surgery. This time I'm healthy and ready to rock it out. I compete and have 3 shows to prepare for for next season, my partner doesn't care about the stage just about being the biggest, strongest sumbitch he can be. We both push each other to what we thought was our limits until we tried this routine....lets just say barriers were broken. So we are both game to be put to the test. As for being Animal....most know I proudly wear the "A" any chance I can. To be a part of this is more then just a contest or a chance to win some freebies but about tapping into something different, something raw. Hell...what better place to train. So lets see what torture you can throw at us Rage...I'm game.

As for the pot of gold mentioned earlier, the fellas in Boise teamed up with the Jersey boys to bring you one hell of a grand prize. Each team will be judged on several different areas…
-Best overall transformation
-Best and most detailed videos and logs
-Best mastery of the HRT program
-Most inspirational
Whatever team of iron warriors is able to demonstrate the greatest dedication, setting an example for the rest of the community and most convincingly living up the above criteria, will be chosen to receive…
A paid VIP trip to Bodybuilding.com headquarters in Boise Idaho (time TBD) to participate in the following:
1) Exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Bodybuilding.com HQ
2) An HRT trophy presentation
3) A video production of the Hell Raiser Training follow up film with Rage and an Animal athlete (TBD) to be featured on Bodybuilding.com and Animalpak.com.
4) Featured in an article on Bodybuilding.com and Animalpak.com
5) A year’s supply of the Rage-approved Hell Raiser Training Animal supplement stack.
If getting jacked beyond recognition wasn’t already enough for you, maybe becoming a Bodybuilding.com celebrity and tasting the sweet fruit of victory that comes along with it, will be enough to light the fire.

Peace, G
That is insane. Id love to go to Boise, just to see how BB.com inner workings tick.

Okay, how about this. I think my training partner and I would make a sick team to get into this!!! We have both bone the bodybuilding, Powerlifting workouts, and currently have turned to Strongman in the last year to really put on size and needless to say we train like animals!!!!
I'm talking about atlas stone work(330lb + stones), partnered up with 800lb hack squats followed by 900lb tire flipping, back to atlas stones.
Bench days that make other guys at the gym ask us if we are on anything(kind of an insult, kind of a compliment, we are not by the way!) Things like 315 raw for sets of 18 unassisted raw!!! Rack pulls with 667 for sets of 15, shrugs in sets of 50 w/ BD's in the 150+range! Ass to floor squats till you can't stand, truck pulling, farmers walk, etc. you name it we've probably lifted it!!! Failure is not an option.
This from guys who are under 220 and around 5'8" and 5'10" We're both in our early 30's(32 & 31) and have been training for over 25 years combined!!
Partials, super-sets, pyramids, reverse negatives, and crazy 8's are in our daily routines!! We actually work together and will no doubt be "tweaking" the HRT with some additional sets, bigger weights and some videos that will probably make lesser gents wonder how the HELL we get though these workouts!!!!
So, Animal????? Are you willing to let a couple of guys really try this program out and see what a couple of Powerlifting, Strongman competing, crazy heavy lifters that have been lifting for years think of your product and your HRT???
By the way, we are both training 4-5 times a week, eating 6-7 meals a day and staying close to a 40-30-30 diet taking in approximately 3500-4500 calories a day and at least 2 times our bodyweight in grams of protien. Other than that I'mout of info, contact me if you need more, I will post pics in the next day of two!

Will the video logs mentioned be clips from the weeks workouts or like a discussion about the workouts? Just wanting to be sure.
Oh and was it decided if the participants will be starting a new 12 week HRT program? Thanks brother.
Ideally, the combination of the two would be the best--training footage with insightful commentary. The more compelling the better.
12 weeks starting from the day the participants are chosen is the preferred standard. The contest should document the process over 12 weeks from beginning to end.

As for the pot of gold mentioned earlier, the fellas in Boise teamed up with the Jersey boys to bring you one hell of a grand prize. Each team will be judged on several different areas…
-Best overall transformation
-Best and most detailed videos and logs
-Best mastery of the HRT program
-Most inspirational

**** just got real in here yesterday when the prize package was announced. Obviously we mean business and so should you. The judges are watching the Hell Raiser Training sub forum. Stay active in it. Stay in front of them. Don't just throw your name in the mix and leave. **** doesn't work like that in here.
The winning team will be training with me and one of our Animal pros on camera. Get involved and stay involved. See this through till the end. I look forward to working with all of you in each of your journeys.
I know a lot of you are already kicking ass in my program. You've already started. Let me tell you this. You can run my program for longer than 12 weeks. I laid out 12 weeks as the program duration so that people could at least get a good grip of what this system is about. You need to give this and any other program a good solid 12 weeks to accurately judge whether it's right for you and to give it a chance to make a difference in your own physique. So if you have already started and you've entered the contest, keep going.

So my younger brother gemgemkid did a post for out entry to the hrt contest. id like to add to it a bit. I wanna do this contest cuz i turned 29 in august so nearing my 30's id love to get into the best shape of my life. I have two sons and a beautiful wife so of course ive got out of shape. this would be a challange to me because ive started programs such as p90x and did 2 3rds of the way and once i liked results i quit it. So id love to finish this with my younger brother. Due to recent happenings my younger brother moved in with us so we are each others motivaters and support. It would be a great thing to go through with him. And we are currently in our 4th week of hrt already and we are loving it!! Hope we are a few of the chosen ones, if not best of luck to you who are!!

Whats up guys? My name is Mark Harman and I am a personal trainer at Gold's gym in Fredericksburg, Va. I am also currently in the hiring process for the Richmond Police Department as a Police officer. Me and my training partner started doing 12 weeks in hell about three weeks ago and I have already seen major progress. It's awesome because I am a classic classic hardgainer. I had to diverge the workout just a little, not because I couldnt handle it but because I dont have the proper supplements/nutrition available right now. I think I should be chosen as one of the animals because the gym is my life, literally. Just being given the opportunity to see Rage himself and hopefully take in as much information and learn as much as possible, so that I can transcend that knowledge onto my clients, is overwhelming. Also, when I start me second career as a Police officer, I want to weigh in at about 195 pounds. Im currently 178. I want to be able to handle my own in the worse case scenario, which happens often in Richmond. However, I am having sever difficulty putting on the weight needed to make my presence known. This would be a huge benefit for me and my training partner, especially for me so I can take away as much knowledge as possible and bulk up for the Police academy. Thank you for the opportunity Animal!

i think my name got taken off the list for some reason but i re put it back on there with my partners training info again. and here is my original app thats posted on page 1
I guarantee no one is more motivated and dedicated than me to get bigger, i will get bigger with or without the hrt. we both have low bodyfat so we will eat as much food as possible to keep our body anabolic and to maximize the hrt. again, the gym is our life. we dont care if it burns, we dont care if we are tired, we are either 100% in our we dont belong in the gym, we need to train harder than everyone else in order to look better than everyone else. two personal trainer, with nothing to lose that want to get bigger, now thats a great combination to get bigger and stronger!
my partner and i are ready, we got the video camera ready, we have taken a set time out of our clientelle schedule to get our workouts in together nd we are pumped to make a huge difference

Going to be speaking to our university's athletic department reps if CaptSpaulding and myself are selected to compete. We want to try to get special "after hours" gym access four nights a week, so we can do our HRT sessions with no interruptions and have the weights to ourselves. Nothing is more frustrating then needing to get on some weights when your sets and rests are timed, and somebody else is screwing around on them. We want maximum results.

Hell yeah!! Me too! this would definitely help out my clientele and help me help them reach their own goals. Also, no doubt I will put on the much desired and needed mass to stay competitive at the police academy. Its hard as **** for me to gain weight, this will be the ultimate test. When I graduated high school in 08 I was 139 lbs. and now Im right around 180. Slow ass results. lookin for some **** to kick it into gear! lets do it!

Just checking to see if anyone has attempted to view the video on my BodySpace.com page? If so has anyone been successful or do I need to post the video with no music? Thanks!
Hey man I just tried, and it still didn't work.

MV
^^^ This is my partner, I'm not sure whether we both have to post or not, but i see a lot of people are. Anyway, bb.com has changed alot since i last been on (almost 3 yearss)
So, this is defiantly something that interests me and my partner (obviously) We live very close and practicually live together, so as he said we can push each other inside and outside of the gym. Lifting heavy and pushing myself has always been something I've loved. Just the crazy rage of pushing out that last set and sigh of relief after you finish, feeling the blood pump to your arms, for a second as you come back to reality before re-entering the rage! Haha what's great about our dou is we share many similarities (other than genetics) we're roughly the same size and strength, which is good. We even look alike(i look better, of course :p) but the best part of possessing the same strength is when one sees the other pull ahead slightly it's the other push harder. We've known each other sense birth, and have been competing since, so there's no doubt that we'll be hard to beat!

Just got to say I am looking forward to this contest. My partner, Rbowman91, and I have successfully maintained adherence to our weightlifting schedule since the start of HRT.
I was shocked at how great the grand prize is, looking through this forum shows that will be some stiff competition for it. Rbowman91 and I are dedicated to this program and are looking forward to the opportunity this competition presents. I took the time today to look through my workout logs and this program, more than any other that I have tried, has highlighted the parts of my body I need to improve on (rear delt and overhead tri's) while breaking two plateaus on ares that I previously considered my strengths (leg press and flat bench).
I am grateful for Tom and all of Animal for sharing this awesome program with us and looking forward to Wednesday.

Thanks for the feedback man. Ok so...I didn't want to but I did: I posted the video without music! Grrr! For those of you who haven't heard, I had to remove the music because of copyright. If you want to view the video how I intended it to be, the beat the video is made to is Daft Punk - The Game Has Changed from the Tron Movie Soundtrack. Just start them both at the same time. Aargh!

Just read the grand prize! training with one of the pros would be amazing. Frank Mcgrath and Eric Frankhouser are two of my favorite bodybuilders. Even though it may or may not be them, just being given the opportunity to pick their brains for an hour would be a dream come true. I hope I get selected as one of the lucky ones cos it would be one of the greatest days of my life!

It seems like I'm not the only one getting anxious. It looks like the applications span a WIDE array of experience. I think the most interesting part is going to be the weekly video logs. I know TheLetterF and myself have been cooking up some ideas for vlogs that will keep things entertaining from week to week.
We've also been noticing some "nuances" to the HRT method and we're learning some techniques on various lifts between lifter/spotter that make for some very taxing lifts.
Let's get to the 29th already and get this show on the road....

my training partner and i are so stoked for this. we have already taken two hours off at the same time to allow us to train together consistently because we both get pretty booked with clients. we got the video cam ready and the good thing is we pretty much own the gym as personal trainer so there will be lots of good videos and extras! we got this all planned out. speaking of animal, i just sold animal cuts to one of my clients today as he was looking for a thermogenic and we had a whole bunch.

Hey guys!
I'm a 20 year old full time firefighter for East Side Fire Department in Baton Rouge, LA. I've been lifting for about 2 years hard and been active in the gym for about 3 years. My workout partner Bryan Covington has been in the gym lifting hard for about 2 years now as well. He is also a Firefighter and a full time student.
Weight lifting is not only a hobby for us now, it is a lifestyle. There's nothing better then going to the gym after a long day at work and leaving everything you have right there on the weight bench. We are in the gym 6 days a week every week, no excuses.
Your sick, your still in the gym. Football games on? That's what DVR is for.
I started out at 175 lbs and wanted to gain muscle and size. I'm currently 216 lbs at about 17% body fat. I'd love to get into a program where I'm not only accountable to myself and my workout partner but to the people doing the challenge with us.
I have been a full time firefighter for a little over a year now and if there's one thing important outside of work it's staying physically fit. In my career there's no time to be tired or to take a brake. When it's time to go you go till the jobs done or you pass out. That's just how it is.
Everyone has their shortcomings and my biggest one is my diet ( notice the 17% body fat). Having a plan and being accountable to everyone would be great and there would not be another group with the commitment that we would show and put out.
Good luck to everyone!

Simple Enough.
We are two brothers, who have been told all of our lives “You cannot do it.” Personally I was 190 lbs during my freshman year in high school with like over 20% percent fat, I was told it was genetics by family and friends, and my response was “Well I’m going to change that now.” I have researched bodybuilding since then, and I have found my true passion. I am 18 years old and I have a new goal I want to compete on stage. My partner, best friend, and 27 year old brother has inspired me by breaking through tough times. He is a full time dad, full time student, and full time worker. And his biggest dream is to be freakishly big. I believe him because he has overcome everything else. Together we are on week 3 of the treacherous hellraiser training, we have been enduring the flames without thinking of stopping.. Our diet and supplements are clean, and our minds are not to break. You can count on us to make the best out of 12 weeks if not more.

Whether it is the lack of focus or the rate of one’s metabolism, all too often we hear and make excuses for making gains at the gym. As an Asian American, the most common excuse I hear and also make for myself is bad genetics. After all there are is a huge lack of Asian Americans is professional sports not to mention professional bodybuilding. Is it due to us being on average shorter than other races? Are Asian genetics simply not suited for building mass? However I simply refuse to believe that Asians do not have the potential and physical capacity to excel in the gym.
I started working out during high school, as an ectomorph I was 5’8” and weighed a measly 108lbs. With no knowledge I did not realize the importance of nutrition and a routine. For a long time I dedicated myself to the gym without properly eating and without a proper routine. However as my knowledge grew I steadily gained lean mass, reaching 150lbs over a period of 4 years. While slow gains were very discouraging I kept at it, because for me the gym was the only consistent thing in my life. I received whatever I gave in. There is no possibility for chance. I want to give more and receive more, I know it won’t be easy and extremely rigorous, but I believe I have the mental discipline and physical capacity. I believe HRT training will take me to the next step. Through HRT training, I truly hope to break this “genetic” myth” for my peers, myself and for the Animal Training series.

One more reason to choose me and AdamRedmann.. We may be some of the smaller guys in the gym but we work just as hard and that just means we could gain more mass %. Hellz Yeah!!! I just finished another 21 day cycle (stack,Mstack) So this fits perfectly. I can take my 7 days off cycle than get the HOOK UP SON!!!! Not to mention that this competition is getting me, Drew aka (Black Man) and my ex partner Dan aka (Top Gun) together again. We were training for the Paradise cup but bitched out b'cuz we didn't know what we were doing during cutting and lost way to much muscle, because of this, let's just say, we slightly lost the respect of the rats that frequent our gym. THis destroyed two bad asses bond through steel, and we parted ways. Now we can redeem ourselves with the help of this bad ass trainng and even better supplements. There is a show in Apr. called the Stingray classic. When we get picked, it will fit right in with our timeline to cut down. I'm 5'11" 234 lbs. Ive been training for mad years. I've always, physique wise been right there...but then fall short. IT SUCKS!!! I'm broad shoulder and thick through arms chest back legs....I pound..Pound ...Pound weight 5 days a weak. When My partner Dan and i were training, it was everyday 3 in the morn to sometimes 6. We fell short because we didn't have the proper guidance. Plenty of aggression, heart and power, just short on the know how. Me and My Buddy DAN are some MotherF**king Animals!!!! Pick us and we"ll go to Hell and Back to win this ****. Mahalo DREW Wilz

This is a great opportunity to take our training to the next level! My partener Drew, Black Man, Wilson and myself Dan, Top Gun, Jones have taken each other to distances we, by ourselfs, have not be able to reach or match since we have parted ways. Drew (dirtdogg7) and I trained hard everyday without fail, pushed each other to our limits and helped with diets and motivation. We are looking to get back into the swing of things and compete in the Sting Ray Body Building Compition here in Hawaii. This program along with the advice and strick rules will certainly take us to where we need to be. On a more personal note, I have lived my whole life looking up to my older and much bigger brother, This oppertunity to train with such experienced trainers and my partner Drew can finally get me to where I have dreamed of being. Pick us and we will rep Animal loud and proud along with HellRaiser Training! Mahalo Dan Jones

My name is Staff Sergeant Kyle Gourgues, 25 years old, and my work out partner are currently deployed in afghanistan for the U.S. Army. We are completely dedicated to the gym.
Are you in officially bro? Do you have a training partner that has posted in this thread? Great entry, I'd hate to see it go to waste.

My partner and I are 24 years old we have been friends since 5th grade, we live literally 0.3 miles from each other. We started training seriously together in 06 when we were both at a community college near by, and we were hitting it hard for those 2-3 years, ill be honest I don’t remember anything from community college except for the hours we put in the gym, 5am work outs, watching each others diets, trying to out lift each other, those were the best times. Then we transferred to different universities, and ill be honest, I kind of fell off, he kept going harder, but that’s what makes me want it even more because I’ve been there before, and he’s at a level his body has never been before, and I’m proud of him but I’m not going to sit back and let him have this glory over me for long (friendly competition). My senior year of college is when I stepped my game back up, and now that he and I are back home, we are back at it. Just 3 months ago I joined the same gym as him so we could get after it again, and its like we haven’t missed a beat, just like old times. I am 24 years old 6’0 tall 218lbs around 16% bf at the moment. Bdpearson is my partner and that guy is jacked, he’s a “wittle” guy 5’7 or so but he’s probably around 185lbs and 10% bf or under. We’re both adults with responsibilities and priorities; our number one is the gym. I am ready to pack on mass and see where I can really take my physique. I have always been wading in the shallows of the sport, but I am ready to dive in the deep end now. This is the opportunity of a life time, its absolutely exhilarating just to think of the chance to take my physique to a level its never been before, I know this is the edge I need and the outside motivation that will absolutely take me over the top. Bdpearson is really excited too haha!
Another part of the competitions is logs and videos, my main priority will be the gym and my workouts, but I am going to excel in these categories. I studied film and communications in college; my videos will be better than pumping iron with Arnold and louie, and My logs will be more detailed than a biology lab report.
Another part of the competition is transformation, and that’s where I will stand out as well, being 16%-17% body fat I know that through a rigorous 12 weeks like this not only will I add mass but my body composition will change too. Thus ensuring a great transformation. I know that im about 6 weeks of hard work from being absolutely, ridiculously, jacked (12 weeks will just make me that much better). Thanks for the time and considerations guys. And good luck to everyone!
