Any ladies out there using casein?

Been working out at night and I noticed that around 3am-ish I wake up hungry all the time. I heard that casein is a good thing to take before bed? But I'm lactose-intolerant so I'm not really sure if I should try one or not.

Any advice?

I might check, but I am not sure that the whey and casein have lactose. They are a protein from milk, but I thought they said on a package that it wasn't.. I might be wrong though!!!
Casein is a slower digesting protein.. it's thicker... Trutein is a casein whey and egg blend of protein and super yummy.. good luck.. maybe try some carbs before bed too.. some protein with some kind of fruit.. that might help!

Casein is great at night...I either do that or cottage chz, sometimes with a tbsp of peanut butter

As far as I know, Casein protein is Milk Protein, so I am gonna guess if you are lactose intolerant Casein wouldn't be good for you.

My BF is lactose intolerant and takes Egg White protein shakes which are lactose free and slow acting. I am no expert but I thik this would be better than Casein for you :)

Hope this helps

if you're lactose intolerance, no, casein wouldn't be good. check the ingredients/know what casein is. just eat something (anything that fits w/in your cals and macro's. anything).
