The setup.

I have a old Hd that I bad xp installed on and I used as my main drive.

I now have a new pc with new HD that has windows 7 installed on it. Now I want to transfer my files from the xp drive to the new drive, but the old drive won't let me. I apparently don't have admin rights on the old drive to copy or move files.

I am the admin on the windows 7 OS that I am using now.

Any way I can get my files on the old xp drive?

No, they are encrypted so the only way to get them is through your old computer. Best bet would be to hook up your old computer to an external hard drive or even a flash drive if there is not a lot of stuff you need transferred.

The old computer is dead, so I can't hook anything to it. I have gotten access to "my videos" and transferred them. It's just that I can't acess "my pictures" and other folder in "my documents" category.
