Im in the army and am very busy most of the day, by the time i get off i barely have time to get to the gym on base cuz they close around 9. On days i dont get off early enough i was thinkin bout gettin the body by jake thing.
Any body had experience with it?

I would've thought the army would keep their gym open really late, if not 24/7. That sucks.
I'm not certain which "Body By Jake" product you're talking about. If it's the tension tubes which attach to the door, they're okay but not great. I guess they'd be better than nothing for trying to maintain muscle, but I really wouldn't rely on them for building muscle.
If you're looking for portable options while in the army, I'd recommend you get a set of adjustable dumbbells, a bench (or fold-up bench if need be), and a doorway chinup/pullup bar. That's going to pretty much do it for your needs. If you get adjustable dumbbells which go up to 90 pounds (I'd recommend Powerblock over Ironmaster in this particular scenario since if these items are your only pieces of gym equipment, you'll want to be able to do some quick weight switching; though Ironmaster dumbbells are great too, and you may prefer the more natural feel of them). If those dumbbells are too expensive, spindle-lock dumbbells are a great way to go as well.
I'm not sure if these recommendations are too heavy (if you have weight limitations in transportation) or too much $$$. If things have to be very simple, a great choice would be just freeweight exercises (as in just using your body and surfaces around you) and a pullup bar: you can get a ton done with just your body, a bed/couch/chair, and a pullup/chinup bar.

A specific product to talk about would help. In general though Body by Jake builds cheaply made poor quality equipment. Much of it is practically useless for any decent training and there are always better options out there from other brands usually at lower cost.
If its possible I would just wake up earlier in the mourning to go the gym (if its open). This way you get it out of the way and can go on with your day.
