Taste - 10/10 - The best tasting PWO Ive used. It mixes best and tastes the best. Probably due to the high maltodextrin ingredients. I got the raspberry lemonade and there was no chalky taste and it was very sweet.

Mixability - 8/10 - Occasional clumping, but nowhere near as bad as Recon. Little to no settling on the bottom.

Effectiveness - 6/10 - I use a full scoop and it gives me a serious kick. Sets in very fast and definetly helps with energy and pump. The downside is the Overdose of what I believe if Beta Alanine. I get itchy as a mofo for about a half hour, a half hour into my workout(about an hour after consuming). This isn't an "issue" but nearly a small annoyance. The BIG issue for me is the breathing issues this supplement gives me. It isn't seriously derail me from being able to breathe bad, but it feels like someone is squeezing me in the ribs a bit and causing me to be short of breath again about a half hour into my workout. This is the only PWO that has given me that side affect. I'm not sensitive to caffeine and even stim heavy jack3d gives me nothing even remotely close to this effect. I don't have any sort of lung issues and endurance is never a problem for me(I'm a former college soccer player), so I know it's the supplement.

Value - 6/10 - I paid $33 for this. $33 for 20 servings is a "decent" deal in comparison to other supplements, but I don't think it's all that fantastic at all.

Overall, I would probably recommend the product, be hesitently as the breathing issues would probably be a serious problem if experienced by someone who has a lung/breathing condition already.

I tried it today and didn't get as much energy as I do with another preworkout, but the pumps were better.
Was it like that for you?

You must have been very sensitive to the BA, I know from personal experience that the sides/tingles from BA subside with continued use. I know this is an old review, so have you had the chance to try the new formula?

It is not a stim heavy product, it does have that caffeine kick, but clean energy is where Assault is.

Cant throw around the cash, not going to pay for a sample/trial size too.

Indeed. Preferred energy of jack3d, pumps of Assault.
