Dudes a free agent right now, and was named jags starter. Do you think he's worth the chance? pick him up?
Starting QB is Big Ben

No, all signs point to Gabbert struggling. His preseason wasn't promising. He doesn't have a deep-threat/explosive WR to throw to. Keep Freeman, he has the skills and talents to do well. His schedule last year was ridiculously easier than this year. Freeman is more spot starter for now.

I don't think you should drop Freeman for Gabbert. I do think he has a good receiver in Mike Thomas though. Gabbert took over for McCown in the 4th quarter last week and was 5-6 for like 55 yards.
If you want to get risky then go for it. Seeing how well the other rookie QB (Newton) is doing this year you never know about Gabbert. Big risk, potentially big reward. As a back up I wouldn't blame you if you decided to do it. It would be bad though if Big Ben gets injuried and it turns out Gabbert is a bust lol

no way
it may be a potential franchise qb but we will still lean on MJD heavily.

Yeah drop a QB who will likely finish in the top 10-12 of his position for a guy who has barely played a snap, on one of the worst offenses in football. Freeman will be snapped up in a second, and you would have to be in an insanely deep keeper league, in which case I would try and move Freeman, then grab Gabbert.

one could make the case for Freeman starting over Big Ben some weeks.

Gabbert should only be owned in 20 teamers or 2 QB leagues

This.
Gimme a 12 team - 2 QB league and I'd still find a QB better than Gabbert. He's proven nothing so far, and has no receiving weapons.

maybe. i'm 2-0 right now. won my league last year.
for all of you saying that this is retarded, all you got to do is look at cam newton. Everything pointed to him being unsuccessful in the NFL yet he's puttin up Brady-like numbers (while Brady is putting God-like numbers up). just sayin, you can see the intrigue in wanting a top 10 2011 draft QB.

I know this comment was made to the OP but I would assume most people play different when it comes to money and free leagues.
