Looking for an 8'x8' rubber mat that I could pick up somewhat locally. Something good for deadlifts, relatively cheap (under $100), and doesn't stink up the inside of the house.
If anyone's got any leads, let me know!

Just hit up any decent "pet and feed" store and get a couple 4x6 stall mats. They cost around 35 to 40 bucks a piece.

Cool thanks, I was quoted 52 but, the guys using the horse stall mats, do they always have rubber knobs on one side? Is that okay, or do you purposely look for ones that are smooth on both sides?
Looked like maybe the knobs would cause some extra "squish" when doing heavy squats/deads and stuff possibly.

I paid $50 per mat for the first two I bought. For some reason, the second two were only $40 per mat and they were purchased a few months later from the same store. The ones that I purchased are smooth on the top and textured on the bottom.
With regard to the knobs, how wide and tall are they? How far apart are they spaced? I doubt that they'll squish much, but depending upon height and spacing, they could cause some foot instability. Post a photo if you can.

Alot of times one side has ribs, or ridges, and these are technically for the bottom to allow horse piss to run out of the stall. That's probably the same idea of the knobs.
