Whatever the man does or doesn't do with his sex life as long as its between consenting adults I do not care. Now legal and political corruption I care about a great deal. A good leader can still be a douche who runs around sticking it in anything that moves , but this is not the case here. This man has a history from everything from assaulting a police officer to perjury and conspiracy, those matter to me. Had he been a good Mayor otherwise than just the affair I wouldn't give a flying fck.

What reply can I give to that? It is a true statement but we as a country love dirty laundry, in a country obsessed with sex and the morality behind it a murder takes a back seat, people see headlines of 8 year old killed in a alleyway and they think oh that's a shame. Headline reads, Married man caught having sex in a bathroom stall with another man and everyone rubber necks and rushes off to gossip.
The media talks about whatever is going to get their ratings up or sell the most magazines.

Personally I can't blame the media it is catering to demand, it in the American population at large which demands smut instead of news that is the problem. Until people stop buying the trash and watching it and demanding more the media will continue its backwards broadcasting.
