I'm not big into running.. I don't mind sprinting, but long distance isn't my thing.
Bought little PhiSig a trampoline for his B-Day & I bounced on it with him for 30-40 minutes & was drenched! Pulse was racing! Felt good to go out & have fun with him but still get some good Cardio in..

I run, but mostly for relaxation. Did a race about two weeks ago and had fun. Trying to learn to jump rope lol.
Take a drag sled for a walk after a workout occasionally. That's about as close as I come to serious goal related cardio.

I read so many conflicting reports, and get so many different opinions from trainers I know...about the HIIT/LISS debate. I swear if you ask 10 different people, you'd probably get 10 different answers. Currently I'm just doing some LISS, and running between 3.25 and 3.75 miles in a half hour. Nothing fancy. I do like HIIT, but lately I'm getting more folks saying that LISS is better...if you have the time, and aren't necessarily worried about training to increase speed.

Those studies are usually pretty worthless to bodybuilders however. I don't care if HIIT burns more fat on my grandma than LISS... let's see studies on people who do intense weight training at least 3 times a week for several years, and if HIIT gives and afterburn for them or not.

Well the tires on that bike are designed for off road or paved road; it's a cyclocross bike, and cyclocross races have people going through terrain along with more flat/paved paths. So the tires are durable for either.
If you have road tires, then the PSI will be more like 120 or even as high as 140 for some tires. The psi of your specific tires will be written on the side, so you don't have to guess :P
I have a set of cyclocross tires which are 85 psi along with a set of slicks which are 120 psi. Easy to just switch out the tires depending on what kind of riding I'll be doing.

In the end, I think it makes little difference.
As to the OP, I currently only do cardio on leg days. 20 minutes either eliptical, walking outside, or in-home cardio - 20 minutes of bouncing around, basically(srs, did this while cutting, too).
I really don't have much need for cardio. I walk 40 minutes(to and from gym), walk another 45 minutes to/from/inbetween classes(some days more), and then my job consists of pretty constant patrolling. I need to get a pedometer.

What kind of off-roading are you doing? If you're doing legitimate mountain biking, where you're going off drops and doing very high impact biking, then it won't be as optimal. If you're talking about going on dirt paths, stone, grass, smaller drops, mud, etc. then it would handle very well! That's what it's meant to do.
Just depends on the type of off-roading.
