Charlie was on Conan and talked about it. Mac said TV shows don't depict reality as the main characters don't decline in health/appearance and proposed they all gain 50 pounds. Everyone declined, but he stuck to it and did it.
Can't wait. From the previews, he keeps referring to his weight gain as muscle mass.

I bet those jokes will be heightened now. Like he's trying to justify the weight gain and has to prove himself, sort of thing.
I take the GRE Thursday, too! So watching that show on my first day of freedom from studying for a few months will make it all the more excellent.

commitment indeed. I usually see the cast a fair bit since I work in center city Philadelphia - they're always filming around here and staying in local hotels. I got a chance to meet Sweet D and The Waitress last year - nice people! Also, because of that show you can't go to a Philadelphia sports game without seeing someone dressed as Green Man!
