On weekends, I tend to get up to 11 hours of sleep in one sitting. How much sleep is too much, to the point that it becomes counter-productive for recovery purpose?

I think sleep is somewhat dependent on the person. I run on between 4 1/2 - 6 hours all week. Every couple of weekend I'll try to sleep a little longer - 8 hours or so. TBH if I get more than 6 hours I feel tired the whole day.

Manu sleeps for 24 minutes each night. Clearly anyone sleeping more than an hour each night is doingitwrong.jpg

^ Lol at some of the answers on here. Typically, throughout the week I'm doing 6-7 hours in bed. Who knows how much is sleep. On the weekends, I'll run about 7-8 hours, then fall back asleep upon waking.
