I've told her already that her goals can be reached within a year, training 3x a week. She seems to enjoy bodyweight squats (not had her use weight yet), which is a plus... she is up to 3 sets of 15. She has never weight trained in her life, only cardio previously.

She is easing into it. I'm having to show her that resistance training will not cause her to look like me, and will not turn her into the she-hulk in 6 weeks. Right now it is just bodyweight squats, and pushups on her knees etc. I will have her inside a power rack before long. For now I am just happy that is doing bodyweight squats 3x a week and actually proud of herself that she gains reps as she progresses. She is terrified of having her mother's legs in 20 years.
