Red Lobster Endless Shrimp

Planning on going there tomorrow to destroy at least a few lbs of shrimp. Anyone else only go to Red Lobster when they have this promo? Also, can you use their $4 off 2 entree coupon... that would make it even better. Sweet&Spicy shrimp and Parmesan Shrimp are labeled as new on their website for the endless shrimp

It's back? I was just at Red Lobster last week and they didn't have it then. I love this promotion.

Once last year I went there for dinner with my wife and I had a large lunch that same day so I only ended up eating 75 shrimp and my wife said it was such a poor showing that I would not be allowed back if I couldn't pick it up.

Since then I down a minimum of 90, and usually 100+. It is hard to get in high numbers if you choose the pasta options, so I usually save those for the last serving.

I love Shrimp Fest!
Me and some friends went one time, I ate the salad and fries, then downed about 77 shrimp scampi. The two guys I was with skipped all the sides and both ate over 115 shrimp scampi.

I let them know from the get go that I know exactly what I want and that I will be having at least 90 shrimp. I have found that giving them the heads-up that you are serious, I tend to get faster returns.

I am skeptical and personally believe that RL management probably instructs their servers to drag their feet on return visits to allow the food to settle and the patron to feel "full" quicker, but that is not founded on anything other than a hunch. But I have noticed that the initial platters have a higher shrimp count than the refills. Check at your particular RL if you order the exact same flavor (such as garlic). I think the first serving had 15 and the refills only had 10. IME this has not been consistent across various RL's that I have visited, so maybe it is only some of them.

hmm. My wife and I have date night tomorrow. I think I can persuade her to dine at RL. I will be attending a birthday party earlier in the day, for which I have already ordered 5 pizzas and half a sheet of cake, so I will already do some damage, but this thread has kind of gotten my interest.

It should only be $15.99 in most places which is a pretty damn good deal if you go to town on them. Also, the cheddar bay biscuits are always unlimited, I've seen people ask for them after they've eaten their entrees so that they can take them home. lmao

The last time I had endless shrimp they brought me the check after about 8 plates of shrimp, I looked dumbfounded and told the waitress I wasn't done yet. They definitely try to get you out of there after a while. You'd think they'd know that have ending shrimp is going to result in longer lines on busy nights. :confused: Not my problem!

Good stuff man! How many shrimp did you eat in total? Those pasta ones definitely filled me up way more than I expected but were damn tasty. I ate ~ 100 shrimp
