A little background, I'm a 21 year old male that recovers quickly and is in pretty good shape.
Well, I had jaw surgery at the end of June and the doctor recently okayed me to lift again. Well, I wanted to get back to the iron HARD, so I squatted heavy during a full body routine Friday (for a dude that's been out for ~10 weeks) and obviosly, had delayed onset muscle soreness the next day.
Well, I had another full body workout scheduled for Sunday, but elected to skip it and try again today because I had DOMS all over.
I still have it today, and it's a lot better but my legs are still hurting. I want to do a full body routine today and not miss ANOTHER day. So my question is, if I were to squat again today, would I be risking an injury today or would the blood flow actually help me feel better tomorrow?
I want to get to 200 lbs and 10% bodyfat ASAP and I feel like everyday wasted is one I'll never get back. Please respond as my workout is scheduled to commence in 3 hours.
