A little background, I'm a 21 year old male that recovers quickly and is in pretty good shape.

Well, I had jaw surgery at the end of June and the doctor recently okayed me to lift again. Well, I wanted to get back to the iron HARD, so I squatted heavy during a full body routine Friday (for a dude that's been out for ~10 weeks) and obviosly, had delayed onset muscle soreness the next day.

Well, I had another full body workout scheduled for Sunday, but elected to skip it and try again today because I had DOMS all over.

I still have it today, and it's a lot better but my legs are still hurting. I want to do a full body routine today and not miss ANOTHER day. So my question is, if I were to squat again today, would I be risking an injury today or would the blood flow actually help me feel better tomorrow?

I want to get to 200 lbs and 10% bodyfat ASAP and I feel like everyday wasted is one I'll never get back. Please respond as my workout is scheduled to commence in 3 hours.

u need to calm down brah, can't go all out after having been out for so long, u gotta slowly work yourself back up. If you don't feel ready for weights because of DOMS active recovery helps, stretch, do yoga, use foam rollers, do some cardio, or you can split your routine instead of doing full body workouts, i know you want results asap but it's a process it takes time

Well, I did squats bench and barbell rows and I feel MUCH better today. However I only did 75% of the weight I had done on Friday. Stuffing my face today and gonna hit it HARD on Wednesday, I think I'm over the DOMS hump, but we'll see how the lower back feels after heavy deads...
