things i planned on doing that worked out
- last to pick a QB, the eight and ninth QB were taken in the 5th, I got freeman and stafford 3 and 4 rounds later
- didnt draft a kicker, def or back up te, only 5 bench spots, dont want to waste them in the draft. ill prob be last in waivers week 1, but there are still good def's out there and i have enough depth to drop a few guys right before week 1
- depth at WR/RB, i wanted a large group of guys to choose from before the season started so i could cut a few
- not spend an early pick on a handcuff, i prob could have waited to the last round for tate, but i would have been pissed if i missed him, so i got him pretty late

things i didnt plan on that worked out well
- i was targeting a late TE in the ninth or tenth, but surprisingly everyone waited on TE, witten was sitting there in the beginning of the 7th and i had a feeling a run would happen. After i picked witten, 6 TE's went in that round, so i got witten the same round that a guy got jimmy graham, im happy with that

things i specifically did not want to do that i ended up doing
- taking uproven/injury prone/possible to not repeat guys. i feel like my entire team could fall apart. they all "should" do well, but i usually go after tried and true players (took foster over AP, this was hard for me)

i think im just freaking out cause its my first draft of the year and im anal, but well see. this league is full of enough bad players im sure a few will give up, or fall apart so im not worried yet

see any free agents i should drop someone for

I would trade Hillis. I don't like that pick at all. I'd package him with Britt and see what you can get.

don't be so hard on yourself dude, you did fine. Foster and Peterson are a toss up. It's not like Peterson is in the best scenario right now, while he's the safer pick I believe that Foster is the real deal. Not sure why people think Hillis is incapable of being an RB2 but I'd say you're fine there. Especially good enough where you should see how he works out for a bit before trading. I'm targeting Ingram in all my leagues but not going near Best. I play non PPR so if you play PPR that changes things a bit. VJax is a monster and was probably the best WR to get there. Britt is a high risk high reward player, could work out in your favor but him as a WR2 is a bit risky. Witten is as solid as you can get and you got good value. You also went the same route I would with QB. I have already decided I'm waiting a bit and taking two of Big Ben, Eli, Freeman, Stafford, Bradford. No particular order and fine with any of them honestly. There's not much on the WW right now but if you're in PPR then Bess is a pretty decent WR.

Also packaging Hillis/Britt won't get you great value. Britt probably isn't seen as a WR2 to many in a 10 team league with a flex and the perception of Hillis' value is low. You can try making some moves but I don't see anything drastic that needs to be done before week 1 kicks off

I agree w/ T on this. Relax n see what happens when the season gets rolling. I have a feeling injuries will play a Bigger factor this season, sleepers will emerge. I feel ur pain, bro. Wish i had more depth at the wr position. Freaked out too.

I think you did pretty well. I am also having a tough decision on if I will take AP or Foster if I get the #1 pick in my money league draft. I am leaning towards Foster at the moment though. I don't really care for the Britt pick much. He's a solid player but he is probably going to be suspended for a couple of games and I don't trust Hasselback to stay healthy for the whole season. I would have went for Brandon Marshall, Manningham, or possibly Ocho at that spot.

As far as Hillis, I think Cleveland will have a solid offense this year as McCoy looks to be a legit QB. The thing that keeps me away from Hillis though is the Browns schedule for the last 4 weeks of the season (fantasy playoff weeks). Wk 14 - @ Pitt, Wk 15 - @ Ariz, Wk 16 - @ Balt, Wk 17 - vs. Pitt. Hillis did go off on Balt the first time he played them last year, but it was his first start and Balt wasn't able to game plan for him so let's throw that game out. This is his numbers from the 2 games against Pitt and the 2nd game against Balt last year 89 yds rushing and 57 yards receiving. Thats basically 30 yds rushing/game and 19 yds receiving/game. If he gets out to a fast start, I would look to trade him for a RB who went in the 1st or early 2nd round that starts off slow.

Hillis will get TDs. hopefully avoids that madden curse. if he's your number 2 back i think you're in a decent position.

i probably wouldn't go with foster first overall. sometimes the only sure thing about last year's number one player...is that he won't be this year's number one player. but i understand and peterson certainly has question marks. i think this will be ray rice's year but you can't take him first and pass up on monsters like foster or AP

also i think you got witten pretty late which is a good job on your part

You have amazing depth, but honestly your starters scare me. Starting Britt in a 10 man league is really rough and I'm also not high on Hillis.

I think Arian Foster has a chance of falling off or getting hurt, so grabbing Tate was excellent.
