when i use the calf machine at the gym i always have weird scratches/marks on my shoulders for a few days. looks like i was abused.
I get that too from the standing calf raise pads.
I am marinating on doing that buy 2 tubs of syntha-6 get a box of Decadence bars free deal BB.com has going on right now. After the 10% code, it comes out to be a lil over 17 bucks each. Anyways, my question is which flavors of syntha-6 are the best? I have only tried the samples and never gotten a tub before. Thanks!

Unscheduled Day Off
As soon as I got out of court, I found out my lil girl fell and hit her head at dance :( We spent the night at the ER so that she could get CAT scan until a lil pass nine. She is fine besides a big knot on her head, thank God.

Glad to hear she's ok. I hate the ER. I was there for 5 hours last week with all the bums, drunks, and other unsavories.

What happened?
I feel you on the crowd. When we were walking in, there was a guy walking out in pj's (I think) and socks yelling for a doctor to shove some kind of meds(can't remember what kind) up his a**
lol! We had a drunk guy try forcing open the emergency only exit. We also had a homicide in the parking garage. The eerie part about that was that it was right next to where we parked and around the same time too. I tore a ligament in my hand playing basketball. I put the details and my lovely gimp workout attempt video in my log!

I got ahold of some tickets when my team was playing in Denver and I took my wife and then only son to the game. Thats crazy about the homicide. How is the hand now? I will definitely check out the video. I know that hand injuries suck. In July 2010, I was bit on the left index finger by a brown recluse. After they cut stuff out of my finger, I took two weeks off from working out(went out like a wuss). When I went back in I still couldn't bend that finger due to swelling so it really cut in to what I could do. I just hit alot of machines for awhile.

My finger still stays imflammed (some days worse than others) and and is still uncompfortable to bend. There for awhile, I thought I was definitely loosing the finger and probably my hand too. The swelling got up to my elbow. Crazy thing is, I never even saw the thing. The doctor diagnosed it based on the pit it left.
When do you go to Dr again?

True statement here. I know I am weaker than a lot of the guys running around here... Don't care not going to e stat. Doing this for me and me only. As long as I have solid form, dedication, the will/drive and eat good to grow I will. Rome wasn't built in one day and I only compete against my self. If I try and out do my self I can only get better. Ive been training a lot less than a lot of people here. In my gym I see it all the time: guys slinging weights around >back of bench when doing bench press, elbows moving when doing curls. It's ok to cheat a bit but no so much where u started the workout cheating lol.

Thanks, FBS! I am not really comparing my numbers to anybodiy but my own before I hurt my shoulder. I am excited about the 285 but its still agravatting knowing that I was doing 315 for more reps less than a year ago.
But then again, there is no point in looking back. Just need to look forward to continue to progress :)

The product has been very good so far. I have liked it the more I use it.
Thanks for the comments about my lil man! He is a tough, strong lil thing (the wife blames his strength on the my DNA plus supps I take :D) so I think he will be ok. :)
I have been training around 15 years, more seriously the last 10. Its crazy though as long I have done this, I think I have learned more since April about all the elements involved in working out in since April (evidently I posted a question in 07)when became active on these boards than I had in years past. How long have you been training?

I just found out that there is an article in the newest issue of Flex magazine covering the Flex Lewis Classic. Not only was this held here in Cookeville, but my sister won her weight class and came in second for best overall. The girl that won best overall was a heavyweight and flew in from Europe to enter the contest. This was very weird since this was no no pro card, cash, or anything like that on the line. The article included pictures of the girl from Europe because she won best overall.
To make a long story short, if the girl from Europe had not been at the Flex Lewis Classic, my sis would have been in Flex magazine.

It was very weird. When you google the other girl's name (Kate Austin) she looks like she might me a big deal in Europe anyways, so its weird she would go to the expense to win a trophy.
As far as my lil man goes, qe will just be scheduling the MRI on Monday.

Yeah, that was a tough game.
Thanks for the comment about bench press! I hurt my shoulder a few months ago, which put a damper on bench press but its slowly getting better and has been really good the last week. :)

I'm not holding my breath though, Hasselbeck has only been consistent in one thing for the duration of his career, and that is being inconsistent. He's always had moments of brilliance, speckled with mediocrity, and sprinkled with just plain bad.
I thought the same thing, that there would be problems with Fisher leaving. Glad that isn't the case, it seems like the Jaguars game was a fluke, from a team that just didn't know how to play together yet. So one week learning curve is something I will definitely take any time lol.

That's what I am hoping. Maybe he's just getting warmed up, completely possible since the situation was pretty odd. We'll see in the next couple of weeks if he gets going. Should see some nice things from the Titans, if Hasselbeck can maintain some consistency (not likely). Though we have had good luck with washouts coming to us and performing better than they ever had before (Collins). Maybe we'll see that sort of thing again lol.

Notes: This was a good workout. I went up in a few things which is always nice. The AminoX was great

No way... The Browns would have blown regardless of who made the cover of madden. Hillis is fine. He's just splitting carries with Hardesty because he's doing well too. It's a few weeks into the season so it's officially time for us Cleveland fans to start looking forward to the 2012 NFL draft!

Notes: Overall, this was a good workout and the AminoX was great. Sorry, but have to be brief because we are about to head to Vandy for lil man's MRI. I will let everybody know how things go. I wouldnt be that scary if they didn't have to put him to sleep to do it :(
On a postive note, my phone seems to be working fine today after I accidently gave it a bath in a toilet at the justice center. I guess the rice in a bag works :)

Yeah, not only was this a public toilet but it was at the justice center too. Luckily it was early in the morning and all the court going on that day was on a different floor, so there was a better chance than usual that it was clean(or at least cleanish). If it wasn't a new phone a may have just left it

We made it through lil man's MRI. He screamed for about 30 minutes afterwards, but finally stopped and seemed to be coherent afterwards. He is acting fine now :)
We should get results back on Tuesday.

Yeah, he hated being in that room. We were walking him around and after awhile he let out this huge belch (he was gassed so it was from that). He started calming down then. Once we went back in the room to change his clothes he started screaming again. Kinda like a "this room sucks, get me out of here" scream. He was fine once we got out of there again.

I didn't get to work out today. We stayed overnight in Nashville to be close to hospital just in case. We got back from there too late too work out.
