I'm looking for just a rough answer here, I know not everyone's bodies are the same..

My girlfriend is around 34% BF, 165lbs 5'6 height.

What would be an ideal weight with relation to bodyfat to get her to? I know about 21-24% is being in the 'fit' category which is where she would like to be. Do the numbers change based on height?

Sorry if I'm confusing, I can't seem to figure this out (early am here, lol)..brain fart I guess.

"Ideal weight" is such a sticky subject. Especially on this site where many posters tend to have above the average amount of muscle.

BF percentages are percentages, so they apply across the board. But someone at 20% bf with decent muscle will look a lot different than someone at 20% bf with very little muscle. This is why focusing on numbers can be useless.

Worry less about numbers and ratios and more about her progress in the gym and what she sees in the mirror.

Yea I Know about the mirror, but however, you need numbers to formulate a base on.

Anyways, I think I just figured it out...it seems that for her height/weight, a good weight is between 140-159lbs....so I think a good starting goal is to shoot for around 150lbs.

That is of course with proper diet, and heavy lifting, she should see some results.
