So, other than caffeine, anything else good for energy? Yesterday and today I'm gassed. I've been getting some veggie servings, but they're low carb too (mostly for the fiber and nutrients). I'm definitely losing a ton of fat which is good, but I now feel like there's a black hole in the bottom of my chair and it sucks me in and won't let go.

Oh, should add, the last 4 days have been less than 15grams a day, prior to that, a week at less than 30grams.

I've got a pwo im taking (juggernaut for the juggernaut contest), but the rest of the day I'm beat. Coffee kinda helps, but I can't drink much atm cuz I'm force loading water and salt. I'm total keto noob, so any veteran tricks r welcome.

wait for it to pass ;)

it does actually get better after a while, it differs for everyone though takes a few weeks for me.
I supplement with caffeine though to help me through it though but it looks like thats out for you.

Thx y'all. I'm on day 10 so fast.recarb for pics starts thursday, as does the dehydration when I go to absurd amounts of coffee. I should have started keto 3 weeks earlier than I did, but oh well. I'll just hang on 3 more days. I was hoping there was a trick to this I was missing. Thx for the support.

Pretty much been said . . . give it some more time and you should adjust. I did TKD, so I can't comment as much for CKD, but it does take some time to get in the groove. To give it an honest evaluation, give it at least 3 or 4 weeks and see how you feel. By then you should have a much better idea if it's something you can stick with or if it's just not for you--2 weeks is really just getting started. Really no trick to it, you just have to grind through it and you should start feeling a lot better.

Edit: just make sure your fat intake it good to go . . . if not, could be that you need to up it a bit. But more than likely you're just feeling the effects of starting off.

I don't do keto, although recently I've increased my fat a lot, just not in the ratio where fat is the highest percentage of macro in my diet. That said, I do low carb - actually very low carb I guess - under 50 grams a day. I felt crappy for the first 5 days maybe, then it was like a cloud lifted. I also do a a high carb high cal cheat once a week now. Gets the leptin back up to where it needs to go. Low carbers particularly need to pay heed to this.
