View Full Version : Help!!! I'm The path Of Self Destruction and I am travelling Very Fast

I have lost ALL of my self control.
9 months ago when i was really fat, i decided to start losing wiegth, and i swear it was sooooo easy for my to SAY NO to food and not feel hungry. Soooo easy.

But now, 25 kgs down, i just CAN NOT STOP eating. For the past 8 days I have been MUNCHING and MUNCHING and jus FULL ON EATING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. Healthy and non healthy.

I do cardio 3 daays a week for at least 45 seconds. Go to gym 3 days a week and lift heavy.

I told my mum about this and asked her if i could go see a doctor. She laughed and said that its part of growing up.

I have tried everything from eating more complex carbs to eating more fiber but i just cant seem to stop eating. I mean in my mind i'm thinking "ohk so i will not eat this, i will not eat this" BUT THEN I EAT IT!!!!!!

Nothing seems to make me full anymore.

Please Please Please help me, i dont want to go back to being known as the fat ****ing ******... i really dont care about the ****** part ..... but IT HURTS BEING CALLED FAT.

I am 15 years old, turning 16 in August. 171cm tall and i currently weight 80kgs.

Please help Me.!!!!

honestly your mum is probably right. and at 15 you should listen to your body and eat if you are hungry. but you do cardio for 45 seconds? did you mean to type minutes? cuz that would be your 1st problem right there. if you're that concerned about getting fat, take up a hobby that burns lots of calories like biking, swimming, or rock climbing (in a rock gym) but don't starve yourself cuz denying your body food at this age is foolish

Are you sure you aren't about to hit a growing spurt? I just to eat more just before going through one, and I have noticed the same with my son.

THIS!!!! Get a solid muscular base now while your body is going crazy with hormones. I wish I had done more... SERIOUSLY. At 16 you should listen to what your body is trying to tell you, so if it's saying eat, eat. Too many variables to try and be cutting weight at that age. You will be so glad in your early twenties that your took advantage of it. Don't waste it.

Edit: As someone else said, you might be about to grow like 2 inches, which will make that weight a TON less noticeable. Don't deprive your body the ability to help redistribute the weight.

If you're ravenously hungry all of the sudden, then something is going on with your body where it needs those calories, especially at 16. As long as you're lifting heavy and being active it shouldn't be a problem.

Someone else mentioned getting hobbies, I personally suck at basketball but I love to play it with my friends because it's pretty intense cardio (for me) and it's fun. If you can find people who are into active things like basketball, soccer, tennis, etc then maybe ask them if you can play.

Exacte same experience. I wish i had done my reseach about losing weight in the first place. When u see the weight come off soooooo easy at first its really easy to say no but now im sure its slowed a bit and ur getting a little frustrated. What i did wrong was not informing myself, my weight fluctuated so much poeple were starting to notice how id gain alot then loose alot and it just wasnt working. So i took a break and just decided to eat normally not before like stuffing my fave but just eating to not be hungry. I seemed to gain control and after a week of a bad binge just decided to stop and get back on track. I took pictures and mesurments of my body which helped more then u think. I also started to write what i was eating every time i put something in my mouth which did take some planning espcially cause i was in school. But that really helped cause i wouldnt want to see a whole bunch of shi*** food in my journal. So i started eating better and the weight didnt fall off as fast but because i wasnt starving myself i wouldnt get cravings. One last thing i did was make a cheat one day a week, just something to look forward to while dieting. Just read as much as u can and ull find something that works for u. Best of luck, fell free to msg me if u need anymore advice but by no means am i an expert i just got alot of experience

In the beginning you have a sense of urgency to loose the weight. When it comes off, people kind of let their hair down a little.

Bottom line: there is no easy answer. You have to just accept the Suck-Factor and stop eating. Stick to the diet and find something else to do to keep your mind off the food.

What sucks worse, feeling like sh*t about yourself or not eating something when you're hungry?

First of all, you're 15. *Settle down brah, you're not even an adult yet. *I understand how it can be frustrating but you're going to be hungry a lot as your body transitions through puberty. *I'd say continue eating a lot, but do be conscious of what you eat. *Sugars, starches, highly processed crap, you won't stay full on. *eat your meat, eat vegetables, eat fruit. *to help kill your appetite, I'd recommend eating a diet higher in fiber and drinking water all the time. *A few spoonfulls of flax and a liter of water keeps me full for like 4 hours. *Also fresh fruit is low in calories and sticks with you for a while because of the fiber. *Hungry? *Eat 5 apples for 400 calories. *that's less than a single McDouble at mcdonalds.

Good luck, it won't be easy but you CAN do it!

try vi shakes. they are very low calorie and they fill you up. i take them and have had good gains in muscle and kept my fat down. trainertc.bodybyvi.com

Listen dude, you need to develop some self control.

How bad do you want to be lean and in shape? What do you want more, the nasty greasy food or 6pack abs?

So STFU and discipline yourself.

You should incorporate leangains.com into your lifestyle.
Eat all your calories from 12-8pm, and not even a bite of food after 8pm!!!! nothing except water!!!

additionally track ALL your calories on myfitnesspal.com
Aim for 180g protein daily, 80-100g fat, and rest carbs. Your total cals should be around 1800.

On days you lift weights, eat like 30g less fat, and incorporate more carbs.
After you lift weights, have a protein shake that has very low calories/carbs.
Eat most if not all the carbs in your post workout meal(within 1.5 hrs after your protein shake)

On off days do morning fasted cardio(i like to do HIIT) with a BCAA shake before like "Purple Wraath"(this will prevent you from losing muscle)

Fat will melt of if you follow this. I have been recomping 1.5 months like this with great results

At dinner time make yourself a gigantic salad, primarily lettuce, put some balsamic or lemon juice, and a couple TBSP olive oil. (track the calories for these on myfitnesspal.com), it will help suppress your appetite.

You really shouldn't be eating all the time at your age, what you should be doing is masturbating. I didn't have much time to eat at 16 with all the masturbating I was doing. Good luck and try not to chafe!
