If you had nothing going on in your life, no job or other activities, and your only focus was lifting, what kind of routine/regimen/program would you construct for yourself to maximize progress and get the most out of your time?

Assuming that I also have unlimited resources/money, I'd probably get a skilled Olympic weightlifting coach, and do whatever they have me do.

I would do what I'm doing now, trying to get Texas Method with Dynamic Effort days working for me. Training does not need 'perfect conditions', sometimes the struggle to fit it into your 'normal life' is a good struggle.

the extra rest and using energy only towards lifting would seem profitable would it not?

Unlimited burritos would be nice, but reality is what it is. +84lb to your presses in a year is a good year.
