ahaha.. i saw this a couple days ago on ESPN 2. pretty amusing.
jk im not going into this, but I was wondering how come no one's ever made a machine specifically for training the arm wrestling movement?
Cus i've always had stronger triceps/biceps in my youth but was weak at arm wrestling.

im sure there is one if thats what you do. the reason you never see it (if it exhists) is because nobody in a gym would really use it. kinda like a neck machine.

Years ago I fabrricated a arm wrestling table with a cable and weight system to practice pulling. The best way is just to pull another person, not hard and furious but a nice even pull for a period of time to get use to it.

yea but practicing against a real person would make your arm really really sore.. i haven't arm wrestled in so long but I remember the aftereffects were not pleasant.
just kinda interested in what muscle groups are used in arm wrestling and how come some strong people suck at it.

it was a while ago, but on cold pizza (espn morning show) they had the world champion of arm wrestling. at the end of the interview he showed his machine that he invented that had a spring for resistance while you do the arm wrestling motion.

Excellent hand and forearm strength are needed. Plus I trained shoulders very hard. Past super heavy weight world champion 1988 and 1989
