50 Days of Test-Boostin Entertainment via SNS!

http://www.seriousnutritionsolutions.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Article_DAA1.jpg

***First of all, I'd like to thank antihero/SNS for being extremely generous and hooking me up! You guys are class acts with top notch customer care***

The Products..

http://www.extremesupplements.co.uk/ekmps/shops/ihawk/images/-sns-daa-capsules-120c.jpghttp://powerupnutritionandsupplements.com/images/products/serious_nutrition_solutions/big/inhibit-e.jpg

Dosing..

DAA = 4 caps upon waking
Inhibit E = 1 cap upon waking, will start this on Day 20

About Me..

- 20 years old
- 5'9, 154 pounds
- Finishing up cut, about 5 pounds to go
- Under guidance of IFPA Pro Alberto Nunez/Team 3DMJ for past 6 months
- Test levels : 742 [as of 15 days ago]

Workout Schedule..

Monday - Workout 1
Tuesday - Workout 2
Wednesday - Cardio/Abs
Thursday - Workout 3
Friday - Workout 4
Saturday - Cardio/Abs
Sunday - OFF

I alternate between a Power/Hypertrophy setup every week.

Diet..

Refeed [1] - 60/320/180

Low Days [6] - 40/160/180

I follow a 'IIFYM' protocol. Nothing is off-limits, as long as it fits my macros. HOWEVER, majority of my diet is what people refer to as 'clean foods' ;)

Other Supps..

- Myogenix MyoLean Evolution
- Multi
- Fish Oil
- Vitamin D3
- BCAA's

Misc Thoughts..

Approaching the end of my cut, I have found that my lifts have dipped a bit. Albeit normal, it still messes with my brain..haha. FYI, I'm not a very strong guy to begin with - so if you are looking for mind-boggling numbers - you won't find them here ;) I don't have much weight to lose, but the little bit I have left - is coming off SLOW. I am optimistic though; with the help of SNS and IFPA Pro Alberto Nunez - I am sure it'll get done the RIGHT way :)

And if any of you are PERSONALLY interested in my progress, here is a link to my most recent pic update in my daily journal..

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showpost.php?p=703351211&postcount=518

I plan to start this log/supps tomorrow [yes, I will lift on the 4th ;)].

No problem. I know you mentioned that you're just about finished cutting down, do you have a firm start date for bulking?

An exact date? No. Whenever we get a couple readings of 148 lbs on the scale is when we will shut it down. The cut should be over in 4 weeks [my guess].

Why do you ask?

Why are the fats so low?

They make up about 20% of my daily calories. Not extremely low if you think about it.

Just enough to keep hormonal levels in check [which was proven by my blood tests] but low enough so I can eat dem CARBS :D

The one refeed we have - I feel the higher fats help a ton then.

I feel much better when my dietary fats are kept much higher. My joints would be killing me with fats being that low.

A very productive 1st workout today. Popped 4 caps of DAA pre-workout and got to it. I was actually suprised at the amount of people that came in to workout on the 4th.

A big family barbeque today..shouldn't be an issue since it's my refeed ;)

Some of the water/sodium came off yesterday - hoping to get back to 153.X weigh-ins this week.

I have the day off of work tomorrow - so another Lower Body workout is in store.

I'll be honest, in the beginning - it was really difficult to get past that mental block of "oh, i gained some weight"..but really, the purpose of it all is to keep track of fluctuations and average out weight for the week. I mean if you think about it, if you weigh yourself once a week - what if you're super hydrated at the time? Or had a big sodium meal the previous night? Feel my drift? It's just to keep an average.

Yeah ok. I understand that Alberto is very light, while being huge... But he also deadlifts 500+, squats 400+ and bench 315+. No hate - just observing, and I was there at my start too - you just squatted 165x2x2 on a leg power day.

Not being a dick - Or at least not trying to - But I just hate to see young/beginners cutting down. I guess its partly from a strength perspective too. But I feel what youre doing (What Berto has you doing) is kind of prolonging potential muscle gain. I feel a strong foundation is better than a skinny foundation and a healthier pursuit.

Hope I did not offend but just trying to offer a different perspective.

And I know you are thinking once you're "lean", your muscle to fat gain ratio will be better, but you sound lean enough for that to happen. If you get too lean then start bulking, who's to say your body won't just go back to its BF% set-point? You don't want to get too far above your set-point, but if you cut too far below it and don't handle it right you would rebound as well - so why do it if you dont need to?

Any reason you're only doing seated calf raises instead of a mix of standing/seated?

Well then?

I was thinking about smith machine calf raises, as I wouldn't have to stabilize as much. I think I'll give them a shot..next go-around.

That would work too, and it would definitely allow you to safely add more weight to the exercise. I like my calf work to be extremely heavy for moderate reps with quite a few sets.

No reason to neglect the gastrocnemius.

I had someone tell me I had really skinny legs.

I don't have terrible quads..but my calves absolutely suck. I train them more than most of my buddies too, but I have the smallest calves. Genetics probably? Im sure being 151 pounds plays a part..LOL.

150lbs at 5'10", I wouldn't expect them to be big. Genetics can play a big role, but I find that calves can be very hard to effectively train and elicit growth.

Try this:

extremely heavy weight
6-8 sets
6-8 reps each
pause and hold each rep for a 3 second count at the top and bottom. You want to make sure you completely remove momentum from the movement.

Final Review

So when I started out, my test was at 744. I am newly 20 years old, so I was hesitant going into DAA. Turned out, I was right. DAA didn't really do much in my case, if anything. I don't even know what to write about because I seriously did not feel a single thing while on it..LOL. As far as Inhibit E is concerned, I could tell it worked because my joint started crackling a lot after starting it.. LOL. One good thing that came from the Inhibit E was the leaning out effect. I'm not sure if it's meant to do that, but it did for me...LOL. I would probably recommend this stack to someone with hormonal issues and such, not the average teen/20 year old. I do want to thank antihero though for giving me this oppurtunity. I'm sure I could have done things better in terms of dieting and such..but for ME, this stack didn't do very much. I pride myself on honesty, so hopefully everyone accepts it with an open mind.
