This in my first post, so please let me know respectfully if there is any additional info that the group would like to see, that I have overlooked. Basically, I am a extemely motivated and fitness dedicated 31 year old male. Im a little bit old fashioned, in that I "get in and get out" without a lot of conversation or opinions at the gym. In fact, I only occasionally read posts on any website, because although a lot of good info is on them, there is alot of well intentioned bad information also. I'm only here because I am really tired of the games that supplement companies always like to play, so when I saw the ingredient profiles of the Magnum products, their commitment to the facts of bodybuilding, and their level of customer service that seemed to exceed all other companies, I wanted to put their products to the test, and do it in a public forum. Okay..to the facts...I change up my workout routines every few months or so, but for the next month, while on Thrust and Serum this will be my routine:
4 Days on 2 Days off.
#1 Chest, Rear Delts, Upper Obliques/Serratus Anterior
#2 Quads, Bicep, Forearm
#3 Back, Tricep, Traps
#4 Shoulders, Calfs, Hamstrings
(Abs in between sets in high reps)
7-8 Exercises, 8-9 Sets, 9-11 Reps For Each Body Part (With the exeception of Upper Obliques/Serratus Anterior as those get used in other exercises..so I do less of those)
So basically, its a super set of each body part, as the only rest I take is the distance it takes to walk between the weights. After every 2nd Set, I hop on Eliptical to keep Test up and blood pumping for about 2 mins, then go over for a set of Abs.
VERY important to note, that second to intensity, my main focus is FORM. My reps are very slow, and methodical. I have had bloods done before, and my Test starts to drop after about an hour and 15 minutes, so that's my cut off time to stay in a peak anabolic state. So if you do the math, i get quite a bit done in an hour and 15 minutes, and I am soaked with sweat and looking used and abused when I am done.
My diet for the next month will be as follows:
5000/275/96/560 (Cal/Fat/Carb/Protein) Consisting primarily of lean ham, turkey, eggs, and cheese. Sat Fat and Cholesterol VERY anabolic and contrary to popular belief, actually reduces overall body fat and cholesterol in most people when high amounts are taken in diet (Anyone watched Fathead..the documentary??)
That will be the diet for the 4 days following the workouts. Day #5 will be 4000/230/75/400. Day #6 is 1000/65/25/80 (If i didint clarify before, each gram fat has 9 units of heat, each gram of carb has 4, each gram of protein has 4)
Only thing in addition to Magnum Thrust and Serum will be a BCAA product Intra workout, and of course, a Whey Isolate/Milk immediately following workout and an extended release protein before bed (with water...no carbs before bed). The Magnum products will be taken EXACTLY as stated on their labels.
Day #1 Tommorow

Had a good night sleep last night, and a "typically" stressful day at work today. In other words, no emotional blocks to my workout this evening.
Please refer to previous post regarding my routine both in the gym and out of the gym for the specifics of my routine.
I made sure my last meal was at approx 2:00 today so that by the time I ingested the Thrust and Serum at 4:30, my stomach would be empty and the food would be in my intestine (its crazy, but food actually can take up to 24-36 hours to FULLY digest..2-3 hours to get out of your stomach though and into the intestine).
After reading the labels for both products, I was expecting some "real" and sustainable engery and focus..and that exactly what I got! Some other pre-workout and test boosters I have tried in the past make you light up like a Christmas tree...but only for 30 minutes following ingestion, then by the middle of your workout, the pump is gone, the sweat has stopped, and so has you motivation. NOT today. When I first took the products I actually didnt feel much to be honest for the first 25 minutes as I was driving to the gym. I withheld judgement as the alternative as with some other pre-workouts...having your hair be sore to the touch...is not all that pleasant either.
I wish that it had not happened so definitively, as what I am about to write sounds like ass kissing to Magnum, but here we go. The first thing I do when I get to the gym is to hop on the Eliptical for about 3-5 minutes while I get some blood flowing, and get my rotator cuff in motion. Within 1 minute (not kidding), It felt like someone had turned on a switch to my muscles. My legs were not content with just the casual warm up I had planned on, and usually use..they felt like they wanted more. I was suspicious that I was just experiencing some placebo effects as I had been anticipating the start of the supplements for a couple of weeks prior. After hoping off the Eliptical, I went over to begin my Day #1 workout. As I had mentioned previously, I work out intensely almost all of the time..but I dont remember the last time it came as easily as it did today. In fact, the workout was going so well, that I went over to see how my weak point was doing (Biceps..they are big..but lack the same amount of proportional strength as the rest of my body). I can usually do a set of 12 reps with the 45 lbs dumbells, with SLOW and PERFECT form. I did a set of curls as my 4th set and I got 13 reps with 50lbs. I actually had somebody hold my elbows into my obliques so that I could not cheat myself and use other muscles...i really wanted to isolate my biceps to see what they could do.
So basically, I felt great the whole workout. Strength was improved, CNS did not feel over stimulated as I have experienced in the past (make no mistake..it was stimulated..just stimulated correctly), and as cliche as it sounds...my last rep truly did feel a resembalance to my first (The R-ALA is a known suicide inhibitor of lactic acid).
Numerical values to the basics of the workouts on a scale of 1-10("1" would be my experiences with no supplementation at all, and "10" would be the most amazing supplmented experience I have ever had)
Strength 9
Heat Expenditure (sweat) 8.5
Vasodiolation (pump) 9
Sustained Energy 10
Focus 9.5
Mood 10 (felt all the benefits without being angry)
Thats workout #1. Tommorow is #2

First off let me apologize.. genuinely. I've had a number of personal circumstances come up in the past two weeks that have prevented me from keeping up with my log on a consistant basis. Bascially, although I have kept with the workout/eating/and supplement routine I stated in the first log, I have failed pretty bad at documenting it.
I wanted to keep this blog honest, and make sure I was giving real info about my experiences with Magnum products; so i didint have the time to log every day, I kept a written journal of my experience after each workout (while I was sitting in my truck taking in my PWO Iso Shake)
At this point, I feel a day by day breakdown would be insincere, scripted, and forced being that I have fallen so far behind on it. So let me just say this...and say it with complete sincerity...Magnum deserves to dominate this industry. First thing they have done that nobody else does: they have loaded all their products with clinically PROVEN dosages and ingredients (no huge doses of Baking Soda and calling it "glucose transport" or "oxygen transport"). Their ingredient profiles are thought out, calibrated, standardized, and maintained to an above average industry standard in terms of purity, and consistancy.
Second thing they have done that others dont: they have taken the time to ensure that their amazing ingredient profiles actually work (sometimes things look good in theory, but dont materalize into the real thing). I am telling you straight on this...I have NEVER been this strong, motivated, cut, vascular, or sexually motivated before in my LIFE. I have changed NOTHING about my sleeping, eating, workout routine, or stress levels. The only variable that has changed is THRUST and SERUM. 3 weeks of adding these supplements, and my workout capacity and results have jumped about 15% (and for those of you who are just beginning..15% over personal bests is phenominal!!) In fact, if you are a dedicated body builder and all other components are in place...Anabolic Steroids are only expected to give you an extra 25% (estimate)...so NO these are not going to give the results of a "true" cycle...but they will give you results that are superior to all other supplement products on the market (I had already mentioned to the company that Creatine Nitrate in Serum would make it even more mind blowing if thats even possible)
Third thing Magnum does that no other companies do: The employees actually give a damn! And not only do they give a damn..they are educated and intelligent abou the products they are selling. Anyone seen the documentary "bigger, stronger, faster"?? It doesnt take much to make a supplement line and market it. And unfortunately, alot of these companies on the market are composed of a few middle aged men, who have money, a lack of morals, and a desire to use their past bodybuilding success as a spring board to convince 18 year old kids that their products will produce "steroid like" results. Magnum...is NOT in that category. These guys have an actual address, in an actual building, with actual people that answer the phone when you call. And when they do answer, they are NOT just some stupid, order taking answering service, who are just as likely to be able to tell you science behind rocket fuel as they are the reasons why the prodcuts they are selling do what they say they are supposed to. Magnum answers the phone consistently, and when they do, it is someone who is friendly, engaging, sincere and most importantly, knowledgable about the products, and the anatomical challenges facing someone who is looking to change their body in some form or another. These are guys who understand the process of builidng muscle and burning fat...and doing it without Plan B (Steroids).
So in conclusion, at the end of 3 weeks of utilizing Magnum supplements, combined with my dedicated workout, sleep, eating, and relaxation routine, I have gained approx 6 lbs, and lost approx 1.5 inches off my waist. 6 pounds of LEAN muscle and an inch and a half of my waist, for a guy who is already dedicated and consistent, is phenominal for the supplement industry. By the way, that weight increase is not just random stepping on the scale. That weight/waist circumferance is taken by checking it 4 times a day over a 3 day period and utilizing an average (humidity, calorie intake, water intake, sleep, time of day can all affect this measurement)
As long as I continue to workout, and do so in a committed and dedicated fashion, and Magnum remains honest, dedicated and trustworthy I will ALWAYS use Magnum products exclusively
