Ever since my wrist fracture couple years ago, I've been using gloves that include a wrist strap. But do any of you use just a strap with bare-hands? How do you like it? Thinking about switching.

My only concern is sweat and grip, other than that, i prefer bare-handed.

i dont think having gloves on top of the straps would make much of or any difference
i use straps by themselves and have no trouble gripping the bar

I use these and like them: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sck/wraps.html The only small downside is that sometimes that loop around the thumb will hurt after awhile...

I used to use gloves with wrist wraps, but I learned I vastly prefer feeling the bar with my bare hands, so the wraps work really well.

Sounds good, but I think it's morally wrong to chalk up the whole gym every time i show up.

The strap is good, but the loop irritates me for some reason. I would really like a good quality weightlifting strap that has a similar design as this..

I've been using these for the last 4+ years: http://www.newgrip.com/ Like a baseball glove, it takes a week or so to get it broken in (less stiff).
