So here we go again, another contest prep begins today! I was sitting ay my desk doing all my calculation guided by Laynes article. He says to consume 20% of your daily carbs in the form of DEXTROSE in a protein shake during the workout. What can I add to my shake in the form of dextrose? I read that honey has high levels of dextrose in it. If I have to I guess I'll buy it in supplement form but I'm looking for a more "food" based route..(money is tight).
