6"1.5
157lbs
Squat: 210x3=225?
Deadlift: 245x3=265?
Bench: 140x5=160?

I use to squat: 335, deadlift 375, Bench 205 at a bw of 172lbs, two years ago. I could also get my elbow to the rim and had a 40" plus running vertical. Needless to say, I started partying to much, got into oxycontin, got addicted to oxycontin and completely lost myself. I lost about 35 lbs of muscle and all my athleticism when I finally sobered up. I'm sober now and have been working out for the past few months. The first time I lifted I could barely bench 75 lbs for a set of 5, pathetic, I know.

I'm doing madcows 5X5 with added plyos. I did it many years ago and got great gains on it. I also do a sprint workout on Saturday and play bball a couple days a week.

Goals by end of August:
Squat: 275x5
Deadlift: 315x3
Bench: 210
Pull ups: bw+45 lb for a set 6
BW: 170+
Vertical to be the same that it was a couple years ago 40" plus, increase speed and quickness

Once I make these goals I'll reaccess what I want to achieve.

I'll update this with workouts and observations from pickup ball and the gym.

glad to hear about your recovery man, my brother went through the same addiction and he's recovered as well..if it means anything as encouragement, he was also a beast athlete before he got into drugs, and he initially started back very weak but he's now back in beast mode, squatting 350, benching 265, and runs a 4.5 40 at 6'1", 180..it took him about half a year to get back, but it's all dedication..good luck!

Good to hear about your bro man, I'm just trying to put the past behind me. Since taking up working out in February I've put on 25 lbs of muscle, atleast doubled my strength, and increased my vertical by a foot.

Tomorrow I work out. I'll update then.

Worked out today

Bench- barx5, 95x5, 120x5, 145x5 PR

Row- barx5, 95x5, 115x5, 140x5 PR

Good workout, would have liked to have done some auxilary work but didn't get it in. My form on the last set of squats wasn't the best.

Sprints- 8x10yd short sprints
Squat-barx5. 135x5, 135x5
Deadlifts- barx10, 135x5, 195x5, 255x3 PR
Military Press- barx5, 60x5, 75x5, 100x5 (last one was pushed) PR
Pullups- 2x6 bw,
wall slides- 2x15
situps- 3 sets of 25 with 25lbs

Everything went well. Felt I could have easily done 20-30lbs more for the deadlifts. Military was tough, especially that last rep I had to push press it. Just started pull ups today. I will do them every Wednesday for a couple sets, I'm starting rock climbing and they are perhaps the best exercise to improve with in climbing.
