View Full Version : My BF% is in Trouble!!... Troubled's Leviathan cutting Log (sponsored)

Im pretty fortunate to have been chosen to log Leviathan by Palo alto labs. I recently came off a mild HLG's stack, and while the gains were mostly positive, i have a few extra pounds worth of fat that I would like to cut out.

One of the most interesting parts about the Leviathan was the fact that they claim to maintain lean mass, and strength while cutting. Anytime i have tried to cut in the past, my strength dropped and I have chosen to abandon ship.

My goal right now is to maintain weight, and cut fat. I have no desire to lose any of my mass, but slim down. One of the ways i will judge this supplement is by my ability to maintain my maxes on my weights, and to continue with regular gains over the next 45 Days.

Current Stats:

Weight: 198 pounds
Bodyfat: 15% (skinfold)

Addt Supps:

Flax Oil
Daily Multi Pack
Vit C (1g)
Creatine Monohydrate (i forget the brand)


My Diet:

8am Breakfast - 600 Calories
10am Snack - fruit & PB & Shake, etc - 700 Cals
1pm Lunch - Tuna & Rice/Chix & Salad/etc - 500 Cals
4pm Snack - Protein Shake/Bar - 250 Cals
7pm PWO/Dinner - Meat & Carb - 650 Cals
11pm - Prebed - 200 PB/CC/etc

roughly 3000-3500 Calories a day, mostyly a 40/40/20 split accross each day

Yohimbine Hcl: 9 mg †

Proprietary Blend: 907 mg †
3,3'-Diindolylmethane, Acacia Rigidula Extract, Bioperine™, Caffeine Anhydrous, Cocoa Extract, Coleus Forskohili 20%, Green tea (70%), Fenugreek, L-Tyrosine, Rhodiola Rosea Ext, Tribulus Terrestris (80% Saponins, 20% Protodioscin), Vitex

Other ingredients:
Whey Protein Concentrate, Gelatin, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Water

Directions:
Take 2 capsules before breakfast and 2 more capsules
in the afternoon. Start off with only 2 capsules on your first three days
(1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) and increase dosage by 1
capsule every two days until maximum dosage of 4 capsules per day
is reached.
DO NOT EXCEED 4 CAPSULES PER DAY.
Do not take within 5 hours of sleep.

Today is the third day taking Leviathan.

I have been following the dosing schedule as provided by Palo Alto Labs


day 1: 1 capsule in the am, and 1 capsule in the mid afternoon
day 2: repeat day 1
day 3: 1 capsule in the am, 1 capsule around noon or 1, and one capsule around 5pm
day 4: repeat day 3
day 5: 2 capsules in the am, 1 capsule around noon or 1 ,and one capsule around 5pm
day 6: repeat day 5
day 7: 2 capsules in the am, and 2 capsules in the late afternoon -- this would be your standard consumption

The mild buzz of 3 capsules has been pleasant and taken the place of my preworkout supplement (as i had suspected). Other than the extra energy making me want to:
1. drive faster
2. listen to loud/fast paced music
2.5 sing along abnoxiously while drumming on my steering wheel and shifter
I havent had any side effects. I tried hydroxycut back in the day when it had ephedra, and that made me more thirsty than creatine mono. Water consumption and elimination have been at their usual rate.

I dont know if there is anything in Leviathan to curb appetite, but ive been having crazy sugar cravings lately, and they are pretty much calmed. I ate lunch 30 minutes late today because I totally forgot about time and was amazed when I saw how late it was.

No sleep problems.

Tomorrow will be 1 x 3 dose

8th day on Leviathan

Taking the full dose and I am definitely feeling it. Ive got to say that it is strong, but im not shaking at all. Just going really fast.

Ill check my weight at the gym tonight

no gym

played basketball for 60 mins. sweat my butt off. endurance felt better, i didnt get as winded as i usually would..... at the end, i rolled my ankle, but luckily its not damaged. walking is not a problem, ill just go easy on it for a few days.
followed ball with a pushups and situps against my buddy... he did 31 pushups, i did 40 (shaking at the end bc i was tired!) Ive never had a good shot playing basketball..least i can beat my friends at something

veins in my arms look like they are going to pop out. also, for the first time, i have vascularity visible in my shoulders (when flexed or lifting).. for some reason, i just get a huge kick out of seeing my veins swell up when i push myself.

A lot of the other testers are seeing better vein definition as well.. nothing like seeing results right before your eyes!

Im maintaining my weight and still cutting...no complaints! I missed a dose yesterday and realized how much Leviathan helps to elevate my mood and allow me to tolerate half of the idiots i see each day. I drank some coffee instead, but it wasnt even close to the same.

25th day

196 pounds this morning

Comment: Leviathan has been great at calming me and helps keep me in a good mood. I dont think anyone truly enjoys their job, but nothing has bothered me and i havent let anybody get on my nerves. I didnt realize this too much until I missed my dose on monday, and the day dragged on for a while.

I cracked open the second bottle of Leviathan this morning.
Results for the first bottle are -2lbs and -?bf%. While I am not sure about the exact number loss in bf%, it is definitely lowered and Ill have an update with a skinfold sometime soon. My main goal has been to stick to my weight while cutting, so far so good

Good question! I was going to wait til the end to see the ultimate change, but ill see if i can get it done this weekend. my gym has the testing calipers and if i ask nice enough, hopefully they will pinch me up!

Finally tracked someone down at the gym who had access to the skinfold tester.

Heres the stats:
196 lbs
13% fat

This is pretty solid results in my opinion, my main goal was to maintain weight and just cut back the fat. Since I have lost about 4lbs of fat, yet only cut off 2 lbs on the scale, evidently i have built some muscle all while CUTTING

Ive run ECA stacks in the past, and sure they are great to cut off fat, but Ive always cut some muscle and strength at thesame time, and I always get stomach problems from the ECA, leviathan has been nothing but successful without any real side effects

I havent changed much as far as cardio or weight intensity goes, but looking in the mirror, the last week most of my upperbody has looked solid, bigger, but lean. pecs, shoulders, and arms are solid and i look pretty built.

only a few days left with leviathan, I will post my final weight and bf % if i can get it tested again

i had a very productive weekend, a lot of downtime and spent more time at the gym. I did slower paced workouts and stressed my form and made sure everything was done to exhaustion..man im feeling it today, slept like a baby last night thou

I would like to thank PAL for the opportunity to log leviathan, I have tried a few similar supplements out there, and I definitely think that you guys got it right with this.

I never doubted the possibility to burn fat or lose weight, many supplements have this capability...but to keep muscle and actually continue to progress and maintain, this is extrordinary in this industry.

After busting your a ss for months in the gym, its a waste to cut back on muscle to look ripped, but be weaker. I always thought that an anabolic cycle would be the only way to progress in a similar fashion, but im amazed that results are possible with a non anabolic product.

also, every time I cut, I lose some of my sex drive and some sleep. my body is constantly hungry and its always been hard for me to get used to a cutting cycle for these reasons. My sex drive never went down, my sleep was solid, and i didnt feel that i had to adjust to anything while taking leviathan.

I started at 198lbs with 15% bodyfat according to a skinfold test.
45 days later finished
195lbs with 12% bodyfat again, on skinfold

final results. I kicked out 6lbs of fat, and replaced them with 3lbs of muscle.

all i can say is that im impressed.

Working on pics, but my pc is shot and i cant seem to figure how to get my cell pics off the phone

Whenn one ends another begins somewhere else.:) just started my first ever cycle of Leviathan, have a log started as well getting ready for arena football tryouts for new team.will keep detailed post of results.thanks !
