Good shoes for squatting?

I've been using Chuck Taylors for squats and deadlifts for about a year now, and my current pair is coming close to being totally worn out. The Chucks were great for deadlifting, but I wish they had a bit more of a heel for squatting. What are some good options for weightlifting shoes?

Edit: my gym requires shoes to be worn so barefoot isn't an option.

I just got a pair of these this week. If you're willing to spend the cash for a specialty shoe these are definitely worth it, really comfortable to squat in.
