I have found that my motivation is slightly waning so i have decided to start a second journal because I have missed a few days in the first. My first journal was called “Steve’s Journal” which is a bit of a boring name so i am going to pick a better one as I have done. This journal will be three months long so I am setting a deadline rather than just aiming for the infinite. Fair play to the guys on this forum who have managed to keep journals everyday for years but I am not quite at that level yet. The one good this is that I have not stopped the other program I am doing. I am still on the diet and still getting fish oils, vitamin C, stretching etc. So my goals in this program are the same and they are show below

Body-fat – 16%
Bench – 110kg
Squat - 170kg
Dead-lift – 100kg
20 meter sprint – 3.10
1 legged squat – Both Legs
VO2 Max – 50 (18)
Long Jump – 96 inches
Vertical Jump – 44cm
Pull Ups – 12
Free Squat – GL
Hands on ground – Both Palms
Visible 6 pack abs

So what am I going to do differently this time? For a start I must fill out this journal every day. This is the most important thing and if I don’t bother then my enthusiasm will fade out. I am getting a Bosu ball on Wednesday so I will be able to do my abs crunches with this. I will also start getting up earlier too so I have more time to do all this stuff. The main issue is that i have to start the gym program with cross fit or then I will just leave it. I will start tomorrow and do an easy session with them because I have a match tomorrow night. If I keep going 5 days a week for 2 weeks then I will get into a routine with them and i will begin to see the gains. So the main reasons that the last program go stagnant were are follows

1. I stopped doing the Journal
2. I did not start my gym program
3. I did not see enough improvement in my stretches
4. I did not have an end date

My end date is in 87 days and the date is 1st of September 2011

Day One

I wrote out a long response for day one but I accenditally deleted it so this one will be pretty short. My stretches have improved a lot and today I did my first Gym session. I only completed half of it, mostly because I cannot do dead lifts. However, it’s a start and I am glad to have it done. I will do day two tomorrow evening.

Steve

Day 2

Today I went to the gym and almost completed my full session. I am going to live down the country for a few months so I will do my training there so I won’t be in cross-fit for a while. I did the diet well today and the two sets of stretching. I will be starting my gym program again on Monday. I will be joining my gym near my house so it will be easy to do.

Steve
