Well here's some cliff notes:

Wasn't going to compete this year but was prepping a buddy and caught the bug.

Started dieting 6 weeks out with him for Nevada state

Going to vegas for a week after that show and wanted to do another show before, California state is only option

It's in 2 days. I wake up weighing 202.5- need to be 198.25 to be light heavy.

Currently using diuretics, drinking 2 gallons a day up til today which I'll have 1 gallon and then 1 liter tomorrow.

Contemplating laxative and sauna use and maybe trying to find my lasix... I already booked everything for the show and must come in light heavy.

Help!

As far as weigh ins go, idk a lot about the use of Diuretics/cutting water but I do know ~4lbs isn't hard to loose, especially if its water. Ive lost up to 6-7lbs before in a day from sweating b/c of fball practice high school. Id say maybe get some workouts or cardio in where you just sweat up a storm on the day you taper down water/deplete carbs. But overall I wouldn't panic though.

I haven't done a minute of cardio this season and I'm not carb depleting/loading. I feel and look good day to day just need to squeeze my fat ass in light heavy lol.

also, how long does it take for creatine to flush out of the system? Was on kre-alkalyn and MCC and dropped it 3 days ago. Enough time?

Yet taking diuretics + maybe laxitives, and worried about losing 4lbs?

Try doing some cardio, and maybe drop carbs by 50grams or something lol?

Idk y OP doesnt kno this already tho?

4lbs aint sh** to drop, ESPECIALLY if you havnt used any diet/nutrition manipulation...

Carbs - Hold water
Sodium - Holds water

Water = weight

Throw in a 30min WALK and I bet u wld see weight drop too!

I do know all this ****. I just want a consensus of what route to take for most effective weight drop while not going flat. This is a huge expense and I don't want to fuk up and end up in heavyweight when I can top 5 easy. $750 for this one trip...

if you are so worried about making the LHW then add some cardio and along with all the other stuff you got goin on i'm sure you'll have no trouble... you shouldn't have much of a problem filling out after weigh ins

k I'll do some LISS tonight and maybe tomorrow. When should I sauna, friday morning or night?

I was in the same situation a couple of weeks ago.. I was 75.5 - 76kg but trying to get to the 75kg division.

On the day of the weigh in which was a day before the competition, I cut carbs and did a circuit training that morning plus an hour of posing practice... During the weigh in, I was 72.7kg. I think I overdone it somehow..LOL!

K, sodium depleting, slightly carb depleting and only 1 liter of fluids tomorrow. Doing 30 min LISS in the morning followed by a light sauna before my 8 hour drive to the hotel. Continuing on mild diuretics as well.

Missing anything? Anyone have any experience with utilizing insulin for carb up? How much liquids should I drink after weigh ins. I picked up some pedialite to help with cramping..

K, at least tell me what would be optimal time to hit the saunas. I woke up 202 again and dry as fuk. I NEED 198.5 because I'll obviously do well.

Do a 1/2 hour sauna before bed tonight. Don't drink anything except to wet your mouth. See what your weight is in the am. Don't eat anything until weigh-ins. Hit some carbs after that. I did saunas back in the 1980s the night before the show and would usually drop about 2-3 pounds over night.

Oh and good luck. I think you do well. I haven't been to the Cal in a few years, but you look like you'll do pretty good based on previous shows.
