Hey guys.

Background info: 6'0 tall. Started bulking at 108lbs (Yes, im serious.) Currently around 130lbs. The heaviest I ever got to was 135lbs, but I've lost 5 lbs in recent times in a blink of an eye (A week or two).

Took me 10 months of HARD, HARD WORK. BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS to gain ~22lbs. It undoubltey has been the hardest thing I've ever done.

I kept posting for advice on various things every now and again IE diet, nutrition, exercises. Etc. Whenever I posted my stats of my weight the usual response was "Dude, you have to go see a doctor. Your severly under-weight."

I NEVER bought into the idea that I had any medical problems. I got to 135lbs, things were going great. I had a good appetite, I could eat alot. I was looking big in the gym (Big for me lol, tiny compared to others.) And sky was the limit.

Then all of a sudden, I lost my appetite, I struggle to eat atm. Force feed myself alot. Infact Ive forcefeed myself so much I've thrown up twice in recent times. Sounds like im exagerrating but im not...

I lost 6lbs in a blink of an eye (2 weeks) Without changing my diet, calorie intake or gym routine. All that happend is my appetite went for some unknown reason.

So I went to see my doctor and she didnt give two ****s.

She blamed everything on my genetics and said I couldnt gain weight and wouldnt be able to.

Wtf... What do I do :'( I feel like smashing up my laptop im so upset.

If she's right about you having Chron's disease then her advice on eating may not be too far off base. Here's the background on the disease: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001295/. Definitely get checked up to see if it is affecting you again. Aside from that, I suggest you experiment with various foods to see if you can find something that doesn't make you want to throw up, and is part of a balanced diet that fits your macros.

If you do have this disease, do what your doctor says and not what people here say. If not, I would try eating foods that are high in calories but easy to get down, so pretty much anything liquid. Try making your own bulking shake (protein powder, oats, oil, peanut butter etc) and drink a few of those a day, if you really jack them up you could get the majority of your days calories in that way.

Don't just randomnly eat lots of foods if you have Crohns. And you may want to keep a food diary to see which stuff is triggering your exacerbations. See a GI doctor too and not just a generalist.

just because she has a phD doesn't make her correct, there are tons of idiotic doctors out there. what she said makes no sense really because ive seen tons of my ''small'' friends grow and most of them are actually bigger than me now....so ignore her man.

if your little just eat peanut butter... small and calorie dense. add a few extra tablespoons... and some extra steak every day too. lots of proteins, lots of fuel from fats. should also get your hormone balance up... do you know what your daily TDEE? - does your crohn's disease affect this, or affect nutrient absorption?
