Is it common for natural competitors to do cardio 3 times a day every day before peak week to burn off the little residual fat?
Morning cardio
Post workout cardio
Evening cardio

I'm 3 weeks out and have little residual fat around my waist. Pretty lean everywhere else. Just debating whether 3 times a day every day for 2 weeks is excessive in regards to getting 7 hours of sleep a day.

No, it's not common. 2-a-days are common, but by peak week you should be back down to one a day. Ideally you should be ready a week out.
