Current: 5'7" 170 lbs Goal: 155 lbs

I have about a year boxing experience and will start to get my fitness back to where it needs to be. I plan on cutting out all fast food and pop and cleaning up my diet.

My workout plan will be first thing in the morning and consist of the following:
6 rounds of jump rope with 1 lb rope
6 rounds of shadow boxing
6 rounds of the heavy bag
6 rounds of shuttles

I plan on doing the jump rope with 30 second breaks every 2 rounds and everything else 30 second breaks between rounds.

How long are your "rounds"? Not sure where you live, but a really good thing for dropping weight, and good cardio is swimming laps.

Normal 3 minute boxing rounds. Not really anywhere good to swim until the summer.

I also plan on adding 40-50 burpees and I usually play an hour or two of basketball on nice days.

Consider some road work. Not that it's hugely sports specific but it helps for those longer training sessions.
