My first concert ever was Rush. Rory Gallagher (sp) opened for them. Have seen them several times since. Always an epic show. Always. Only Pink Floyd was better (imo).

Sadly, I was pretty musically illiterate (still am) and had no idea who he was. Saw them at Joe Louis Arena in D-town. Signals.

Here is a very long list of their shows. I found three of the ones I remember seeing.

I was sat the Nov. 8th, 1982 show. :) What a great time.
I was a junior in HS. We traveled to the "Big city" (4 of us) and had a blast.
I lived (mom still does) about 40 miles from the D. Born in Ann Arbor. :)

I do have posters from most of my European concerts. I have a few ticket stubs in a box somewhere. AC/DC was the loudest show I ever saw. I honestly thought I had suffered some hearing loss. That was sort of scary. I take ear plugs now. I am old now I guess. :)

That would be pretty f'in cool. I just have to learn to pay attention to who is coming when. I always find out after the fact.

Was great...really like the trend of bands touring and playing some classic albums in their entirity
Cool pics. I really like the look of their new stage set-up and gear. Neil's new kit looks awesome.
I saw them from...hmm...about the 8th row maybe, back on the Presto tour, that's the closest I've even been. It was brutally loud but worth the hearing loss. Also saw the HYF tour, the Counterparts tour, and then a couple years ago for S&Arrows.
They're always so good. But I wonder how much longer they can keep this up, Geddy's voice sounds like he's really pushing it to the limit these days, I'm afraid he's going to bust a vocal cord sometime and it's just going to go SPROING ! like a guitar string.
I wouldn't be surprised if they tour once more in support of the Clockwork Angles album, then have a layoff, churn out another album the do the farewell tour. I mean, that would put each of them near 65 years old ! How could they continue beyond that given the intensity they put into their music and performances?

HUGE RUSH fan here! Heard them play live for the first time in April 1981 (the Moving Pictures Tour) at Kemper Arena in Kansas City. Have been to many RUSH shows since that time. :)

Yeah, I saw Porcupine Tree last year in San Diego. Great show. I've seen them about 8 times now. They are just great. Different from Rush.
I've seen the Tree is so many different places. Phoenix, LA, Boulder, San Fransisco (EPIC show where they first did Fear of a Blank Planet before it was released)
Who knows how long Rush can go. Yeah, they are getting old, but they sure seem to be enjoying themselves. Guess, I'd better see them as much as I can.
