I didn't eat good all weekend too. I didn't do a proper weigh-in this morning either but I think I'm only up 2-4lbs.
How'd your weigh-in go?
friday was 205 sat 204 which is pretty cool. ill weigh myself again tomorrow or day after.
its very close to hot months here and i feel im far behind. gonna carb cycle this week but may drop carbs for a week and see how things go. well not drop them but do 100g a day mon-fri and 250 on weekend.

as long as you hit close to your goal is what matters, we cannot be 100 % all the time, it would be nice though. Sometimes we are only 80 and sometimes we are 120 % =)

some of my poundages have dropped a bit mostly in the form of a rep here and there. my workout partner is out hurt a bit. takes me a lot of damn energy to get those DBs into position for things like OH and flat presses!
My goal is to hit the 125s for 3 solid reps but may need to wait till he comes back. Id also like to get some BB benching in now and then and work on my 315 lbs again.

i went and did a lil test run today....i would need to change up the routine from PHAT to like 1 body part per day I think cause of some travel, shower...etc. May do it next month though! My son would love the extra time I can provide!

Nice! what was your weight last friday? Looks like you are on track to drop a few lbs from then.
This past Friday was 205....sat 204...monday 207.5 i think....but I was 201.5 before this but who knows. lol.
today is a light eats day and i did some core/cardio during lunch so lets hope i stay strong on diet and lose some water or something!

Eva is almost 3 so for most things she is just added resistance now. When baby Hank comes I am sure my wife will want me to go on even longer cardio sessions to give her a break

Prob not much cause its done by movement right? I am also reading it uses temp. Weight lifting doesnt have a lot of movement in the sense that its not alot of fast movements. Think I saw people complain about this and cardio like biking. In this aspect I would be more comfortable going by my polar heart rate monitor and maybe adding the diff in...if any.

Not sure what it does but it said I burned 461 cals last night during my workout. About what I expected considering I was only able to do around 1/2 what they did in dvd. Figure it will be 600+ once I can do the whole thing properly.

i will compare. on heavy days or my hr 15 mins workouts i can burn like 1k cals! i would like to think my polar is fairly accurate (~10%). I see lots of people say a hour workout should only burn ~500 cals. my ft60 had gotten rave reviews.

Will start log with thoughts today.
Thoughts:
Workout, I felt pretty drained. My lifts suffered mostly in the form of reps. Like I couldnt push through, lack of intensity. Thing I noticed was my HBPM were lower yet I felt like I was working hard. Should also note my cals burnt seemed down approx 20%. Now yesterday was a lower cals/carbs day with really just cardio. Todays preworkout meal was decent, 700 cals, 13 fat, 87 carb, 60 p. Maybe a bad day, or maybe the low cals from yesterday..dont know, didnt like it so thinking of making some changes.

Now my bodymedia fit has me approx 500. Dont know exact times I stopped and started workout.
From 12 am to approx 820pm it has me burning 3102 cals. Ive eaten 2571 cals so my deficit is 531 cals atm....i guess through to midnight my deficit will be approx 800 cals.

Low calorie day with cardio for me would make for a bad workout the next day is what I have found. One of the reasons I am so against cardio other than I hate doing it LOL
Results with the weights are most important to me.

I did burn avg 1.8cals per min last nite sleeping. Big meal increased metabolism during sleep or something.

well, i ate lot more yesterday then used to cause of how i felt in gym. i think id like to try something around 200g pro/225g cho/70g fats and see how it feels. This is gonna slow down weight loss but I hope not fat loss to much. Think I would still carb cycle with something like 150g-225g and see where it takes me.
Guess I need to suck it up and start some cardio.
I am still considering 1-2 weeks of PMSF with limited lifting and easy cardio. Depends on where I end up towards end of June.

+1 lb over last week I believe. My last 2 nights dinners been REALLY big for me. Going to scale back the carbs in them a bit cause they been ~100g so will shoot for ~70g for now.
got chest/arms hyper and gonna try some running intervals today. Try to keep diet ~2800 cals.

Looks similar to my chart for yesterday. Same with the dinners and carbs. Tonight going to low carb it to see if I can flush some water out. Been busting my arse with p90x and weight hasnt changed in a week due to increased cals and carbs.

Taking full day off. Think I just realized i havent had a full day off from activity for possibly months. may have had a day off here and there.
Also pretty sure I will be upping cals for rest of this log. Then Ill make a final push and prob start a new log in losing fat section.

Boy did I eat this weekend! Ya dont wanna know what my bloated weight is today! :)
I didnt get a ton of sleep I feel like. Hope I wake up soon.... I did go to bed later and BMF states I only got like 6 hours of actual sleep.
I have ~9 days left of testopro, only one I counted but rest should be around same.
With that being said I have revamped my goals, pushing off my fatloss goals towards Sept. and will be playing with 3k-3500 cals this week and prob next. Gonna see how it treats me. I didnt get a ton of sleep I feel like. Hope I wake up soon.... I did go to bed later and BMF states I only got like 6 hours of actual sleep.
I have ~9 days left of testopro, only one I counted but rest should be around same.

Taking full day off. Think I just realized i havent had a full day off from activity for possibly months. may have had a day off here and there.
Also pretty sure I will be upping cals for rest of this log. Then Ill make a final push and prob start a new log in losing fat section.

Did Upper power today. Pretty tired so I will try to do the log tomorrow. I did DB flat press for 120x4. This is sorta a PR for not having a spotter. I also hit a PR of EZbar curls, 115x6..had to cheat that last one up real good.

Gonna finish the next week as strong as I can while eating. I will worry about losing fat after that.
Heres the screen shot of yesterdays BMF. My driving gets as high mets wise as my workouts...def doesnt pick that up correctly. Its not to high or to bad so I dont think the data is to skewed. I may take it off during driving and see what it estimates.
Yesterdays cals were closer to 3k. Forgot I had a pc of this pound cake.
My actual sleep is way down which I dont like.
Need to move around more during the days. Will worry about this when I pick up the cardio.

Today I am bringing cals down some to maintain a 750 cal deficit so around 2200. Weekdays it seems I only burn around 3k even with exercise.

if this thing is fairly accurate and i was eating 2-2200 cals and burning ~3500 each day, maybe i was hurting my progress.
now i need my weight to stabilize somewhat.

Same. Im hoping its accurate because if it was we were severely under eating. I want to keep my deficit at 750 a day, 1.5lbs a week is perfectly fine with me :)

I have found the same thing to be true. I would look at it in terms of a week instead of a day though. I think you can get away with 1200-1500 a day deficit if you have low activity and your average for the week is high enough. You go too low on calories over weeks and your metabolism will drop and life just becomes miserable because you have to eat less to lose the same weight as someone eating more. I think those 1-2 week diet breaks are a great help in this area as well.

today i am weighing out the chicken they put into the buffalo chicken salad to get a better idea of my first meal cals. these salads are great and really gives me something to look forward to when breaking IF!
Yesterday i broke fast with the salad about 110pm. worked out ~530-7pm (did some yard work before). had a shake right after WO, then ~ 745pm had PB sandwich, banana, cup milk, 226g greek yogurt, whey. Also had a slice of this pound cake during my lunch.
Going to try to stick to these 2 large meals with 1-2 shakes to help get protein up.
I was very full and happy yesterday.

calorie deficit was to high. Gonna take a workout day avg of 3450 cals and eat accordingly.
that sleep i dont think is to accurate, my own fault. went bed ~midnight, woke up twice for bathroom slept a bit more from 5-6am. I feel like i got 5 hours!

i have 1 real off day with minimal activity...sundays. so i will be able to have some data next week. tomorrow i will have todays totals with some cardio (20 mins total cardio, some core). today i had yesterdays legs/cardio day.
heres what i got real quick:
june 8th, off day but i didnt wear whole day, 2870 cals...again, think i wore it only at night.
june 9th would have been back/delts hyper, no cardio i think, 3432 cals
june 10th, legs hyper, dont think i did cardio, 3626 cals
June 11th, Saturday, chest/arms hyper, 3691 cals
sunday june 12th off, dont think i did anything at all, REAL lazy too (maybe some shopping), 2623 cals
monday june 13th, upper power, NO cardio, 3568 cals
June 14th lower power with ~23 mins cardio, 3780 cals.
Today june 1th, cardio/core total of ~35 mins, ESTIMATE 3250 cals.
From what i am gathering my weights days maint avg is 3550 total off days is (only had 1 so far) ~2600 cals and with some cardio im gonna guess low at 2900 cals.
so im thinking even if i walk at lunches since i fast till after lunch time i can eat ~2500 cals on off days (gotta walk though) and an easy 3k on weights days and still lose weight each week. maybe more like 2300 and 2800.

tough call man but when i link my future graphs ill add some notes. if i had to guess id say maybe 80% accurate for lifting. its running anywhere from 100-300 lower then my polar heart rate monitor it seems. in scheme of things i guess thats not to bad considering all the variables. issue with lifting is movement. for example, my moderate walks during lunch hit the same mets as my workouts...my workouts where i am sweating my behind off! lol i need to review everything.
ill know better in a month or so cause i log food and workouts and not i got this gadget so will give a good review of it eventually.

around noon was my walk.
From approx 545-7pm was my workouts. as you will see it registers my weights around same as my walking which i think is insane. my avg hbpm during walking is like 105ish and weights 140-150. So BMF told me i burnt ~550 when it was ~700 according to Polar. If this is true then do I add the ~150 more cals to that total....hmmmmm
I am still happy with the device just its not terrible accurate for weightlifting but I can add in the diff manually.

Think I am gonna try and push carbs to 300g and see how a couple weeks treats me. I really wanna take the next few weeks and push the carbs higher and see how body responds. I think I would still carb cycle a bit, esp since I dont eat same things all the time.
I would like to run around 2800 cals a bit do if needed I will bring protein down.
Also, my left ankle, the problem one is bugging me so not sure how legs will go. Maybe stick to things like exts, leg curls and lighten stuff up. may not do calves though.

i did log the foods at BMF site for 1 day but since i was already set up at dailyburn i log at DB. I just use the BMF site to input my total cals so i can see the calculations. I think the DB site is more user friendly from the food database aspect.
heres my afternoon snack. its my preWO meal. I was gonna have an apple too but thought a lil overkill. wanna save some carbs for my icecream later!
not expecting any more weight losses as i push my macros to ~225p/~275c/~90g.
changing my goals to match the OBF....then hopefully lean bulk a bit!!

i was also gonna follow more a competition type diet and keep carbs in as long as i could. very interesting stuff going on in the comp subforum. love reading it!
so in the mean time im gonna enjoy this weekend a bit and start as close to 3k cals as i can and change diet depending on weekly weight loss....add cardio etc.
may also change up the workout routine to a more traditional 4-5 day split of chest/tris, back/bis, legs/calves, delts/traps...core where i can. gonna try doing weights during my lunches, cardio in mornings and PMs with my son. summers here and id like to spend more time with him.

Weight update: 207 lbs.
I had a lotta water going into week, still up ~3.5 lbs from week before but never went real low carbs all week! lowest was i think 200g with avg 250 or so! feels good. last night i had 2 skinny cow icecreams with a dinner of over 1100 cals and 151g carbs! And still lost 1 lb!

Phew...gonna be off today but trying to make everything fit! I had a pint of ben and jerrys so gonna need to increase protein to hit min 150g. Will add up tomorrow.

On par to hit ~3100 cals burnt, but macros on par to hit 4k! :)
Man you have lots of volume in your workouts. No wonder you burn so many cals :)

layne nortons PHAT routine. all the cool people like shayz do it!
i may need to stop it soon but gonna see if i can keep parts of it. im gonna try to workout during lunch times so need a more traditional 1 body part per day type WO plan but gonna see if i can keep some of the PHAT routine. like part of it or something, drop an exercise here and there, or simply finish what i can at home.

very sick again today and i admit im such a baby so all i wanna do is eat. i hope to be back to 75% tomorrow. this is first day im long time ive missed a day of lifting!
i will skip gym today and tomorrow, wed is off and ill start with my hyper on thursday so this will be a deload week for me im thinking.
i gotta think im pushing a ~215 lbs of a bloated mess since being sick for 3 days and eating. lol
tomm taking my son to longhorns most likely for his graduation (7th grade) dinner! tonight we making cookies.

and... i will be getting blood work done 1-2 days after stack and to check some other things. i will prob get total test, estrogen, lipids and whats not done.
i will then post a final review of stack approx 1 weeks after im done with it. i like to see how i am a few days off of a supp and get a good comparison.
my new log i think will be in the losing fat section i think. least for the next 16 weeks. will post a link when i get it set up.

215? Nice you will drop 10 lbs the first week of contest :) Im sure Im pretty bloated right now too after this weekend. Wont weigh myself till friday tho, hoping to be under 204 by then.
I might startup the p90x doubles routine in phase 2. its basically the same routine except you do an extra cardio sessoin in the morning.
As for being a baby, men are babies. My wife broke her toe a few weeks back and kept going about her biz. I would have been a big baby, bed ridden.

i had some older before #s on free test. I will suck it up and pay the extra cost for free test also.
Still sick today, outta work gonna rest up. I am a lot better then yesterday. Gonna sit in the ac some more to stay away from the allergies crap!
also taking a couple more days off from diet too. It makes me feel better! :P
Will prob get bloods thursday am and hope to get them back sat or mon.

good news is im thinking about getting some stuff to do some cool workouts at home. like sprints, tire slams, agility ladder, etc.
im like 70% today. i can breath pretty good, just down to a bad headache, still badly congested. hoping a hot shower and finally being outta bed and outta the house all day helps.
last night was my last 4 testopro and just 2 hgh. i still got some glycobol in the bottle but i was also doing some right before stack now and then.
im gonna hope im feeling better by end of today and get bloodwork tomorrow.

Damn! A little more you can join the weight loss contest! Tomorrow is starting pics but good idea to add some quick water weight before starting pics. You can shed 10+ lbs in a week!

Need to tweak the cals some but working out has been consistent. Ill focus on cals during OBF after start pics. Possibly carb cycle some, lower carbs/cals on cardio days and more on lifting days. Still shooting for sub 200 by July 1! :)

i learnt each year its gonna take longer then i thought.
one thing i could have done is just threw out the whole LBM and cut hard. in the end i think im making the right choice building any muscle I can and did while losing fat. i hope at least....lol!

Break from forums a little yeah, but from cutting as well. I'm still lifting, eating more. Will cut in August or so I think..

Yea, I've seen it many times. I am only taking a short break where I increase calories to maintenance. Disregarding the scale is mainly because of the gain in water weight and it can mess with your head, since I really need the break I don't want anything from stopping me to do so. I doubt I will gain much fat on maint. calories (approx. 2400/2800 on off/on days).

Maintenance calories are no problem and props for counting. I am talking about easting what you feel like for a month after then the fat came on and hard to get off again for myself(back in 2009)

starting to feel better today and time to get back on diet. im gonna say i added like 20 lbs but not worried about it since lot of bloat...but def some fat. its strange how it all goes to my stomach and handles but muscles feel full.
still gotta put pics up, but plz rem they before pics after diet break. :)
first day to workout i hope after work today! i had to skip work 3 days last week i was feeling so bad.

having a hard time finding it....but i know my free test was always on low end before...same with test. im least in middle now...
heres my current results: (any info/help is appreciated i will list anything out or range, but also some stuff i dont know wth it is)
Under cbc:
MCH: 26.6 range: 27-34 *low
RDW: 16.4 range: 11.7-15 *high
Thyroid panel:
T3 uptake: 39 range; 24-39 *list this one cause its always on high end....not sure what it is. Dr not worried....in feb was 41
Test, free +weakly bound:
Test, serum, 408 Range: 249-836
Test, % Free+weakly bound: 32.4 Range; 9-46
Test, F+W bound: 132.2 range; 40-250
Estradiol, sensative: 6 range; 3-70. is this bad or good? always seems lower.
I gotta find older one cause ive only had test free % done 2 other times. those test levels about range ive worked my test up to. used to be ~300 out of a 250-1100 range!!!! How i did it, well, added lot more fats, and supplemented with 4k IU vit d per day.
I got some more results but nothing related to test I believe.
