Right now I get 1.5g of protein a day for each lb of body weight. I take a couple protein shakes (whey and casein) a day and of course eat my share of high protein foods. My question is should I worry about taking a supplement specifically for essential aminos or am I good? Is there a number I should be aiming for specifically with EAAs?

you should be getting plenty of aminos mate. (http://fitnessemporium.co.uk)
try some BCAA's for non-essential leucine, isoleucine and valine - before and after workouts. i noticed some decent size gains with no diet changes and adding them in. (http://fitnessemporium.co.uk)

An intake of that much could actually be excessive. So in your case your amino acids, as long as your sources are balanced in their profiles over all, are fine.

If you're eating whole protein sources you're getting a complete amino acid profile. You should be fine. I would probably temper the protein shakes as you might be ingesting more than you need. This isn't harmful to your body so much as it is to your wallet.
