Hi and welcome to my log for the NFSC. This will be my first log ever and most likely won't be updated on a regular basis.
Anyways, my reason for joining the competition is to keep me motivated on my way to a better body and lose that fat. My goal towards the end of the 18 weeks is a way improved physique and bf %, I don't care much about the weight really.
I've only been back at the gym for about 8 weeks now after having done nothing for about half a year at least. In December I broke my right leg and ruptured the ligaments which forced me to sit on my ass for about 2 1/2 months with a cast from my ankle to my crotch (right word? non native English speaker here). During that time I ate anything i could get my hands on and gained about 15 kilos of weight (fat!), bringing my weight up to about 115 kg. So in the last 8 weeks I've already shed 9-10 kg of weight with IF and the below mentioned deficit.
My stats:
Height: 1.89m
Weight: 105.7 kg
BF: estimations welcome, I think beyond 25 %
Diet:
I will follow the IF approach, my eating window will be 8 hours usually 4pm to midnight.
On training days I will have a 10 % caloric deficit under maintenance, on non workout days it will be 20%.
I will aim for at least 200 grams of Protein and 110 grams of Fat per day, the rest will be filled with mostly fresh and whole foods, fruits, cereal and whatever fits my macros for the day.
Workout:
3 days a week, once I'm more advanced I might do 4 days/week. I am doing a push/pull split at the moment.
