All right, so i am going to use this contest as a way to monitor my progress for a potential Bikini show. Right now i am sitting at an estimated 23 - 25%, weight is 110 pounds.
Pictures are attached below.
At this point I am hoping to cut fat and keep what muscle i have managed to add in the past year and a half.
Diet will be high in protein with moderate carbs and fats as this is what i have found my body responds to the best. Reward days will be determined how my body looks and feels during the weeks.
Cardio will be about 30 mins a day 4 - 5 times a week, with lifting being heavy and 4 times a week, with one plyo workout per week. Stretching will be every day as i am also working on my flexability for future purposes.
And now we will just see what will happen!

Thank you! That is very motivating to me. Now i can kick my own butt and tell myself "kimm4's watching!". Maybe that will help me avoid the gelato this summer ;)
My diet will be my own. I typically eat about the same things every day for breakfast, lunch, post workout and snacks. Dinner is where i have more variety and fun, and the whole family eats the same thing.
Breakfast is usally:
2 eggs
2.5 ounce veggies (drizzled with evoo)
3 ounce fruit
1 oz cheese
~370 cals ~ Protein 22g ~ Fats 16g ~ Carbs 32g
Looks a little like this:

Lunch is usually
4 oz chicken (though sometimes i switch to tuna)
1/2 cup cottage cheese
~220 cals ~ Protien 35g (need to look up exact fats and carbs)
Snack is usually peanuts
160 cals (need to look up the rest)
Post workout is Pure Protein Frosty Chocolate Shake
~ Cals 170~ Protien 35g ~ Fats? ~ Carbs 4g
And dinner is usually
4 - 6 oz protien of some sort
1/2 cup veggies (typically potato, beans etc)
1/4 cup fruit
If i have cals left over, i will usually have a Coke at 140 cals and 30 carbs. It fits my macros and cals and im pretty much addicted anyways (though i can kick it for short bursts).
Supplements are:
Opti- Woman multi
Super B complex (doc orders)
Vitamin D (doc orders)
Yohimbine HCL 5mg
BCAA's
Melatonin (doc orders)
and will soon add fish oils to help with healthy fats
I do have planned deviations from this. We will be traveling back to the states in 2 weeks, so that day of 16 hours on a plane is going to be difficult to take some of the food with me. Once in the states i can buy quite a bit of what i need.
My dad's wedding is on May 8th. He has assured me there will be fruits and veggies to choose from but i do plan on having a bit of cake.
And on the day we travel back, again, wont be able to take much on the plane with me.
My birthday, i will have cake. Its my birthday, my 30th birthday, Ive worked hard for the last year and i will enjoy my birthday d@mnit! Its also at about the 8 week point so good time for an assessment of where i am and where i think i can be.
After that, there should be few deviations from the plan.

Thanks, my husband thinks i am weird for taking pictures of food all the time. :)
But i think it helps to see that this is what we eat and it is quite a bit more food than what people think!
Today has been sorta difficult. My hubby bought cookies last night, of course the ones i LOVE! So they are in the house and i so want one, but i need to eat all my other food and see if i have cals left over. 2 cookies would only be 120 cals so its not going to kill me, but i dont like to get away from the plan too much.
I am one of those people who can eat the same thing all the time and never get bored. I know a lot of people cant.
And if the stinkin cookies were not in the house, i wouldnt even want them. We typically do not buy a lot of junk food. Usually because, if it is in the house, then i crave it, but if it stays at the store, then i am fine. Also, they are expensive and i can buy more fruits and veggies with the 3 bucks it takes to buy the cookies.
Sweets, breads, carbs, that is my down fall.
But he and the kids are not on a diet so i try not to make a big deal out of it, but until they eat it all, the temptation is still there.
I did my am cardio, 40 miutes with 20 minutes of stretching. Lifting will be tonight, shoulders and biceps, because i am not able to hit the gym, i have to do it with the dumbells and equipment i have at home. I will probably do some more stretching as well tonight.
When i am able to go to the gym, those are chest and leg days because i need heavier weights than what i have here.
As for abs, i do little direct ab work, but when i do, i prefer to do planks, alligators, and things with the stability ball as well as yoga.
Hopefully this week i will get my test results back to find out if i am truly deficent in B12. If i am, i will have to take shots at least once a month. If not, then i will have to continue with the mega dosing of b12 util the doc is satisfied with my levels.

You're not crazy for taking pictures of your food, I think it's awesome! I hear you about thinking about something that's in the house. That's a huge problem for me. If it's there, I'm going to have a problem until it's gone. Does your husband know that you're doing this? Or at least trying to do a "diet"?
Also I don't have time to go to the gym either. So I work out at home too, with just some dumbbells that I got from my dad and sister. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one.

Yes my hubby knows i am doing this. But hes not the one on the diet, so i cant nag him not to buy it or eat it. And really, its not usual for him to buy junk food for the house. So i just try to put it up on top of the cabinet, over my head and try to forget it.

Sorry there hasnt been an update in the last week or so. I have been so busy with prepping for our trip back to the US!! Yep i get to spend 1 whole month back in the good ole U. S. of A.!!!
we leave in a couple of hours so i wanted to write what has been going on.
Mostly I have just been super busy. I got called into work to work double shifts on about 6 of the last 9 days. So I have been super busy with that. With the whole gov shutdown looming, we thought my hubby wasnt going to get paid so i worked double to try to have some money coming in. then when they said they would pay us, well i started making more hours so i could save for this trip.
Then i was spring cleaning the whole house so i would not have to come home to a junky dirty house. the house got finished and my boss thinks i am great for covering his fanny when everyone else called in, but my diet and training have suffered. I think i have been averaging 4 maybe 5 hours of sleep at night, so that has suffered as well and i got the under eye bags to prove it!
I got in my workouts when i could and ate "clean" when i was able but some times i just ran out of time and reached for what was quick instead of what was good for me. That was poor planning on my part.
So now i am sitting here looking at 3 days of travel (1 by air and 2 by car) and i am worried that the diet is going to be lacking. I have packed dried fruit, nuts, and canned chicken for the plane, but i know that wont fill me up for long. For workouts, i brought some resistance bands and a yoga dvd that i can play onmy laptop, so i should be able to do something.
when we get to our destination (cant tell you when or where, sorry OPSEC and all that), I have a gym i can go to that is super close. But we are going to a family reunion with all the dreaded fatty foods, and a wedding (which my dad has promised there would be "diet" food at, i will get pics, lol!) and a bachelorette party, and several cookouts.
I dont want to offend anyone by not eating so i am super worried that this month will be really hard diet wise. No one in my family really does this (diet and workout, they are all traditional southerners, esp with food).
Anyways, thats why i havent been on much and why i wont be on for the next few days, unless i can find a non tempting food wi fi spot, LOL!! But once i get a connection again, i will let you know how its going and i will post some pics up.

Wow, this has been a while since i updated.
So, going to the states was everything i feared it would be diet and excercise wise. I did ok for the first week, but after that, things pretty much fell apart. I really had very limited access to internet so that is why no posts during that time.
We spent so much time on the road traveling to the different family obligations, my diet and exercise really suffered. And then it just got worse.
My grandfather went into the hospital for a biopsy, and never made it out. His passing was very hard for me and my family, and there is a lot of family drama still going on about the will and estates (i wont go into all of it, its just to much mess to explain) but it put a lot of stress and pressure on me and my family.
And to add to that, i had to bail my bro out of jail and deal with his idiocy and all my mom's issues.
Lets just say it was stressfull, and did i ever mention i was a stress eater???
So yeah, i came home to weigh 119.
So I am on full blown diet prep now for the past three weeks. Down 4 pounds with about 15 weeks to go. ("about" because they have not released the exact date of the show yet)
I think it is still doable and reasonable if i stick my nose to the ground and just do the d amn thing.
So right now, i am just concentrating on eating right and staying on diet, getting all my workouts in, and staying focused to my goals.
I will up load a new progress pic on july 1st.
