I am starting a new log detailing my nutrition, and my workouts. I have been "bulking" unsuccessfully for 5 months. I have seen about a 15 pound increase but no noticeable changes to my body. I have come from an extremely low weight for my size so I am being patient. Come Monday I am going to begin the Rippletoe's Starting Strength Program and try to simplify my training to build a strong foundation. I also think I may have been overtraining for the past 4 months as I have seen little to no size increase. All feedback is welcome and considered valued as I am by no means an expert on anything other than knowing how to lose weight the wrong way, so critique away. Thanks for checking this out.

Welcome back and no hate but dude you gained 15lb because that GST program was crap. He had you eating more then I was and lifting weights that I see old people using >_>
SS or Generic Bulk are both great programs. I think you will be great with using one of them vs that LOLZGST.

waaaaaa? Your weight and height has nothing to do with how much you should be eating vs me. There are people who are 5'4 and eat 5K a day and people who are 6'2 and can gain on 2500 a day. Clearly you packed on 15lb but not muscle.... by eating more then you ended up burning off.
Just saying that GST thing you did had you lifting some really light weight but had you eating a calorie intake on what I was eating. Yes you need to eat up but you also need to use those calories to build mass and not fat.
