hey guys, im 18yrs of age and think i may have gyno, however im not to shore as i have never touched pro hormones or steroids.. also not shore wether or not it is fat as i store fat around the lower part of the chest area.
i remember when i was younger, lyk 12-13 i had really hard lumps under my nipple and went to the doctor about it and he just said its normal developtment stage yadda yadda yada, and the lumps went away, however it just seems my nipples are quite puffy in the sence the actual pink nipple is bigger than most (LOL), however if im cold or my nipples are erect they go small and look normal once again.
once again im not sure wether its gyno or excess fat that could be confused with gyno??
any insight would be appreciated, aswell as potential remedies to help this oter than cutting bodyfat which im doing in 9 or so weeks.
thanks everybody.
P.S IM ASKING 'CONTEST PREP' BECAUSE YOU ALL HAVE ALOT MORE VAST KNOWLEDGE THAN ANY OTHER SECTION I CAN THINK OF ON THESE FORUMS.

pics would be helpful to determine if its actually gyno, or just fat.
if its gyno, some professionals claim its is "normal" during puberty and that eventually it will go away. again not sure if its true.
as far as getting rid of it, there arent many options. surgery is the only sure way to remove it completely, and it is usually VERY expensive.
there is also some anecdotal evidence that suggests that Letrozole (femera) an armoatise inhibitor can help significantly reduce (and in some cases) remove it all together. Perhaps something to look into rather than spend thousands on surgery?
again please post pics before you go out and start taking AIs

There is a Thin Muscle Just Under the Areola That Will Flatten Puffy Nipples When Stimulated (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/puffed_nipple_gynecomastia.html). Once this muscle relaxes, the true underlying contour again comes out.
The normal Anatomy of Gynecomastia (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/gynecomastia_anatomy.html) will consist of fat, gland, and skin.
wrkoutfrq is right, you are providing no clue as to possible issues. My Standard Pictures to Evaluate Gynecomastia (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast_photo.html) are a great place to start since gyno is a contour problem. Height and weight can help with BMI Calculation (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/a/after_weight_loss/bmi_calculator.html) while Body Fat Analyzers (http://www.thesurgerystore.com/body_fat-weight_loss/body_fat_analyzer_scales.htm) can help with body fat percentage. Telling the forum maximum weight in the past can help with the possible issue of loose skin being a factor for the problem.
Hope this helps,

Actually these medications will only counteract a swollen gland. They will not shrink quiescent gynecomastia or gland in a fibrotic phase. They are not the fix when there are underlying problems like prolactinoma, hypogonadism, or almost all of these other Causes of Gynecomastia (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/causes_of_gynecomastia.html). They will not manage the gynecomastia of a global fat problem. Fixing the underlying problem is the first course of action.
Hope this helps,

http://www.steroid.com/Letrozole.php
"Clearly this is all of interest to bodybuilders, as less estrogen in the body means less chance of certain side effects such as water-retention, Gynocomastia, and acne. This makes Letrozole (Femara) an appropriate choice for even the heaviest bulking or cutting cycles including harsh androgens. Also, if you are a competitive bodybuilder, Letrozole (Femara) is a must have product for contest prep; no other Ancillary compound will produce a dry and tight look like Letro will."
http://www.steroid.com/Arimidex.php
"Arimidex (Anastrozole) is what we call an aromatase inhibitor (AI). In clinical use, its used to halt the progression of Breast Cancer in women."
"Many anabolic steroids aromatize (convert to estrogen via the aromatase enzyme), and this is responsible for many of the unwanted side effects found with anabolic steroid use (acne, gynocomastia, water-retention, etc...)."
trust me, they work.....

nah it cant, but it will control it from gettin worst. and if anyone did their research PRIOR to starting "anything", they would have starting taking something to prevent it for happening to being with ;)
but from what the OP originally stated, i dont think its gyno at all, since hes not on AAS or prohormones. probably just plain ol fat. like others mentioned...pics would help in this matter.

Plenty of guys get gyno during puberty because of how ****ed up the hormone levels are, all gyno isn't caused by steroids. Only way to get rid of it is surgery (sry op)
