I haven't played FBaseball in several years, I got invited into a league with a bunch of my football/basketball pals. It's an established keeper league with 4 "new" owners (all of the players from those rosters went into the FA pool and we drafted fresh from them while the "old" owners kept their 6 keepers.
H2H Scoring: Avg. / R / HR / RBI / SB / XBH
W / L / S / K / ERA / Whip
My roster:
C - Soto
1b - Miggy
2b - Kinsler
3b - Panda
SS - Ian Desmond (the good ones were kept so I punted)
OF - J Hamilton
OF - Heyward
OF - McCuchten
Util - Konerko
Bn - Adam Jones
Bn - Infante (2b, ss, 3b, OF. Drafted bc of position eligibility)
SP - Kershaw
SP - Liriano
SP - Cain
SP - Oswalt
SP - Hudson
RP - Marmol
RP - Nathan
P - Aardsma
Bn - Zambrano
Bn - Ardolis
Bn - Webb
Bn - Stras (I know he's out until at least september)
I'm pretty sure my team probably sucks. I tried to take best player but I think I spent too many picks on OF and SP too early. I basically decided to punt steals. With my pitchers I decided to take fliers on Zambrano/Webb/Chapman because they have potential (or a track record of doing well) but I'll be happy to drop them later on. Grabbed Stras because it's a 6 man keeper and I figured that I'd not really be in contention for a title this year so I kind of planned ahead and drafted some young players a little earlier than I probably would have normally (Heyward included).
What do you think? What kind of moves should I try to make?
I'll try to spread out reps for constructive feedback when off of RC

Haha whaaaa? You have a good team. Kinsler/Hamilton are annual injury risks and you don't know what to expect with Panda, but your hitting is good and balanced. Pitching is stacked. Unless it's a keeper league, I would drop Stras.

I know I've got some injury risks mixed in there but given what was available at the time I felt it was worth it. One of the reasons I took Panda was because I didn't know what to expect, only that I expected last years numbers would probably at least be a baseline to only hopefully go up from.
I more or less drafted offense in my first 4 rounds and then once the offensive guys were all more or less similar in stats at each positions (nobody that stood out was left) I started sucking up pitchers figuring I could get the same level of offensive guys 3-4 rounds later to round out my roster.
I was pretty happy to land Konerko late as my utility. The guy is always mad underrated in my opinion.
Should I look to move anybody? If so for what positions? I've got Stras sitting in my DL spot (which hopefully I won't need for an extended period of time for Hamilton/Kinsler or somebody) with the intentions of possibly saving him as my 6th and final keeper. If I'm halfway through the season and feel like I'm not a legit threat to win it I figured it was worth the risk. If I see I am in a position to win I'll probably try to deal him to a non contending team for help or either drop him outright if I have to in order to better my team.

Alright that makes sense. For now, I wouldn't move anyone. I would keep the team as it is--if this team is healthy, you will be at or near the top of the standings. It's balanced; you may have a problem with SB (McCutchen being your only threat). I wouldn't move anyone for now. I think people get so caught up in improving their team that they don't let their team play. Let them play for a month--I'd be shocked if this team struggled out of the gate.
