View Full Version : Ladies, what does a perfect diet day look like in your life?

I mean, on your best, most clean eating day... what does that look like? How many protein, carbs, fat? What do you eat (be as detailed as possible)?

I'm new to the "eating clean" thing... I was just wondering how real women live the lifestyle.

Eating plans are completely individual based on person's stats and goals. Asking a bunch of random women to post their detailed diets makes absolutely no sense. "Eating clean" means nothing. It's all about figuring out how many calories are needed for you.

I don't do "perfect". Aiming for perfection is setting yourself up for failure.

I agree with the posts above. Eating clean......I'd wish that term would just go away. I'm over it. It's calories in/out.

Follow a plan that's right for you, your stats, your activity level, and your goals, then work on balance not perfection and you should be good to go.

I guess a "perfect" day for me is one where I hit my macros (read the calculating macros and calories sticky) and enjoy my food, which is most days, actually. It's just not that difficult.

Yesterday is as good an example as any, I guess. Here's what I ate:

Lunch: grilled chicken, broccoli, sweet potato (that sounds awfully "clean," but those are foods I really like)

Snack in the afternoon: ice cream

Dinner: meatza (pepperoni and mushroom pizza made on a ground turkey breast "crust" = protein galore) and salad

Late night snack: angel food cake, strawberries, pecans

Total calories: 1500 (a little low)

Pizza + 2 desserts = score

For health and larger/more philosophical reasons, I do try to avoid eating processed garbage, but that has nothing to do with weight loss. Hit your minimums for protein and fat, eat at a deficit, and get results. I lose about 1-2 lbs/week consistently and it has nothing to do with eating clean.

Definitely perfect! Yum.

x2!! Yumm!! (not to mention looks like plenty of protein... ;) )

but on a side note- my 'perfect' day looks a little like this-
oatmeal/egg whites
cottage cheese/apples/almonds
rice/chicken/broc
greek yogurt/PB
Vegg/ground beef/beans
cottage cheese/PB before bed

but most days don't end up like that at all.... sadly cuz it look/sounds so yummy!
