Ah dude, if you only knew how tired and zombie-like I was yesterday after averaging 4 hours of sleep per night all weekend. My bed felt brand new last night.
For me to be knocked out before 10:30pm, that's rare.
I'm counting down the hours to get my 'stim on'. I checked with Mike and he gave the green light to up IGNITE to 2.5 scoops. Oh stims how I love thee....

Yeah you guys need to look in to getting some 3Z. They've always got a 30% off coupon running around. It's not a miracle worker, but it's pretty fantastic for a sleep supplement aid. It really shines in making sure however much sleep you get is very deep and energizing.
As for PHAT while it's a good routine I make my own customized setup tailored from over 11 years of data I've collected in regards to strength gains, size gains, recovery, etc.

Requested a sample of it today :) But will definitely have to get a full bottle to really judge it's worth to me. Sleep is so vital.

Yeah you won't know it's worth until you've had several consecutive days of energizing sleep tbh. You will notice it working soon, but just won't be able to see how well. They sent me samples again today, didn't even request them lol. They are really good about samples, I've probably got 30 sample packs of Maniac. Mainly because it's the only thing they make that I don't really care for.

LoLz on the 30 sample packs, I was not fond of the HgH Pro at all...just gave deadly gas for many hours. :(

I've gotten one of their packs as well but I gave it to someone else. A one or two sample serving size isn't really enough for me to gauge the effectiveness.

Yep very true, I'll need at least a weeks worth of 3z to really be able to judge. I'm not into just popping pills each night just because :p

~Some Thoughts~
Day 1 of PHAT is in the books. I'm still experiencing pain in the inside of my right elbow and both wrists feel weaker when doing certain lifts. So far R3 isn't beneficial to me at this point. Another odd issue I've noticed since beginning M5 is that about 20 minutes after I take it and am starting to train, I feel congested, nose begins to feel runny, like I need to blow the stuff out in order to breathe clearly. I thought it was allergies, but thinking today it did start when I began with M5. Very strange. I did not experience this at all before M5. During training, I've got to blow my nose at least 5 times during the 80-90 minutes I'm there. I'll continue to monitor this and maybe try a day without M5, just use C4 and see if I still experience this.

~Some Thoughts~
Day 2 of PHAT is in the books. Overall I think I had a decent training session today. I definitely enjoy leg training much more now than I ever have before. So my little experiment was a success, I switched back to Orange C4 this morning, 3 scoops; and experienced very little or none of the nose drips/running. Odd that M5 affects me like that.
On a side note, I witnessed something very inspirational this morning in between one of my sets. I saw a guy who was missing his left hand, it was a stump, training with one of the personal trainers. Going all out max effort, curling a 65lb straight bar doing spider curls. The trainer barely helped, just guided, in case it fell. If that doesn't make you appreciate what you've got and to utilize it to the max... I don't know what else will.
This guy truly inspired me. It was great to see this, if I see him again, will definitely give him props.

Exactly bro! We all have our "bad" days...some worse than others.....BUT, I guarentee you, someone, somewhere....is much worse off than you or I. Back and Shoulders Hypertrophy: Day 4
Today was Day 4 of this PHATness, with the first exercise being speed work and the rest of the sets normal tempo with rest times 60-90 seconds. I was kinda dragging this morning, not sure why but I got through it and got it done.
~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - Two capsules taken with breakfast.
Cellucor M5 - 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD - fruit punch
Cellucor NO3 - 5 capsules 90 mins before training
BSN AMINO X - 2 scoops in 18oz of cold water, sipped during training - Blue Raz.
Cellucor R3 - 5 capsules taken post training.
ON Gold Standard Whey - 2 scoops post training in 16oz water - Cookies & Cream
~Training~
1. Pendlay Rows: (speed work) 65% of max
3/135 x 2, 3/115 x 4
2. Rack Chins:
12/45lb plate on lap x 3, then 6/45lb plate as I felt my 3rd set was weak.
3. Seated Cable Rows:
12/110, 10/130, 8/140, 10/150
4. DB Shrugs w/chest on incline bench:
15/55's, 15/70's, 15/80's
5. Close-Grip Pull-downs:
12/150, 15/150, 6/180
6. Seated DB Presses:
12/50's x 3
7. Upright Rows: straight bar
15/50 x 2 then 6/60
8. Side Laterals with DB's:
20/15's x 3
~Some Thoughts~
So I was kinda dragging today for most of it, and once again the M5 caused this annoying running nose thing. I've got no clue why it's doing this to me, I'm good for the drive to the drive and the warm-up cardio but when I start to train, I'd say after the 1st set it starts. Hopefully Mike can shed some light on this. It's odd, never had this side-effect from any supplement, let alone a Cellucor supplement; 99.9% of their supplements that I've used are awesome with zero side-effects. I might have to just mix the BUILD with C4 and leave out the IGNITE, experiment a little. Tomorrow is Day 5...legs.

1. Love them, haven't done those in a long time..felt like a moron grabbing 55's way too light.
2. 2 scoops is because I always take BCAA's during training and not before/after like most labels say. So I double it up in scoops and water.
3. Dude! I had vegan pizza last night, ya know due to lactose dairy issues. Shizzle was the bomb!! Mellow Mushroom FTW!! Ate practically a whole large pizza myself. I've learned a 7 yr old will not eat vegan/soy cheese :(.

I never had/have the patience to "unlock the magic" (twist and lick)... I'm a "shove six cookies in your mouth at once and chug the glass of milk" kind of guy. I love oreos, but my problem is I'll eat an entire bag. Then I'll wake up four hours later on the living room floor with chocolate crumbs all over my face. I'll see the empty bag and scream at myself in the mirror, "What did you do?!" It's not a pretty sight dude.

PHAT is cool, I can definitely see how gains in size and strength can happen with it, wrist and elbow were great today.

Great workout Matz. I'm tired just from reading the numbers. I know how much harder a workout is when you're in a rush and can't rest long between sets. Happens about once a week, but that is often the best workout of the week for me anyway. Good job.

You gotta sore wrist? Only one way to heal it and that's to let it rest and heal... I've had a sore wrist since I was 13. Can't seem to let it rest long enough to heal.

I try to keep mine to 45 minutes, but that never ever happens lol. I'm lucky to make an hour occasionally, usually about 65-75 minute range. 45 minutes would be optimal personally, but it just seems like you can't cram enough muscle damage in to that short amount of time.

Very true, but with the warm-up cardio, etc.. I never get it in any less than 60 mins, unless I'm on a time crunch.

I can't feel it, the only thing I feel from it is my runny nose every time I take it. I'll probably stop with it for a bit.

Um, my soreness has been less but honestly not sure if it's from the R3 or just doing proper stretching after, ya know? I'll be finished with it this week. NO3 is done already., about 13 days left of P6 then this log will be complete.

The first week was good for the most part. I'm baffled and a bit annoyed that my DB Press weight is stuck now at 80's - 85's when a few weeks ago I did the 95's for reps. I think I'll focus more on forearm and bench strength for a bit. I'm determined to DB Press those 100's by October at least. Sh!t pissed me off this morning as once again I was stuck with the 85's.

I personally like to think R3 is helping with my sore shoulder, but who knows. It might just be healing on it's own... I got some Osteo-Sport from AppNut... I'm anxious to see if I notice anything different (or at all) with that... I hope so.
But I agree about R3... I don't think it "out shines" other similar products. But it's easy to throw back the five caps after a workout so I'll have no problem finishing the bottle... C4 was THE STUFF though man. two scoops and I'm good to go.

It's gotta be raw. Cause 568 (while an impressive number) isn't big enough to be a record for someone at 220.
But there's all kinds of powerlifting organizations, so this could be one with lower numbers.

I woke up pretty damn quick once the C4 kicked in, today's workout was completed in just under 50 mins. Very little rest between sets. I might start back with the M5 when the weather changes maybe it's related? Who knows. Just can't deal with the runny nose thing anymore. When using C4 there's no runny nose, so it's gotta be related.:confused:
It felt great to hit those PR's this morning, I'd say this was a great training session minus running out of gas on the 2nd set of SLDL, sh!t happens. I was good once I hit the calf raise on leg press machine, felt great to hit those.

Cellucor NO3: all out since the weekend
Cellucor C4: about two weeks at the most left
Cellucor R3: will be out on Saturday
Cellucor M5: lots left but runny nose thing
Cellucor P6: a little over a week and a half left
So with that being said, it looks like this log will complete (for now) in a little under 2 weeks.
I have noticed that for the past week I've had very little or no wrist/elbow pain so it looks like R3 kicked in and is doing its thing. C4 is always great, and even after all this time with only a little stim break..it's still effective. A great product, and orange is an awesome flavor, I like it much better than fruit punch. 7. Side Laterals w/DB's:

~Some Thoughts~
Finally broke thru the DB Shoulder Press plateau with those annoying 60's. I just needed a spotter all along to assist with lift off. DUH! :o
It felt damn good to finally get those, I'll seek a spotter again when I hit those DB chest presses again and bust through that plateau. It's time to stop wasting time and get things done. Overall great training day, added some new sh!t and variations, worked well.

Great session this morning! I did things a little differently as I had limited time, but it worked out great. *I didn't get everything done that was "scheduled" but it's OK, it is a marathon and not a race after all. *Broke through another plateau with the incline DB press, with the assistance of a spotter. *Looks like I'll break some PR's next week for sure, it will be my last week on P6 unless Mike sees my call for help ;) * I realized last night that I had another sealed R3 canister in my cabinet so I'll be good on that for another 30 days or so and this log will continue. *Next week however, I will be out of P6 and C4, so my guess is by next weekend I'll give M5 another go.

Nice job on the workout bro and the PR !!! What is the SINGLE most obviuos thing you have notiuced from your cellucor stack (and if you could pinpoint it, which product of the stack do you think attributes the most to your observation?)
Thanks guys, PHAT is great!
As far as the stack, here's my thoughts so far:
P6: Usually takes about 2 weeks to kick in, once it does I noticed I "feel" bigger, and mood is definitely overall better. I've gained strength and dropped some bf.
C4: It's awesome. Very effective pre-workout supplement and doesn't cause nose running. ;)
M5: Um, my thoughts aren't that great to date on it, for some odd reason it causes my nose to run a lot during training. I haven't used it in over a week, but plan to give it another go when C4 is done. Hopefully it will be better, this will start by next weekend most likely.
R3: It took awhile to kick in, a 30 day supply and I started to notice the benefits about 18 days in. My elbow and wrist pain virtually ceased. As far as recovery, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary yet, I usually recover quick anyways and I'm usually always taking a BCAA supplement intra-training as I feel they are important.
NO3: I noticed more the 1st and 2nd canister, the 3rd it was less apparent.
So to answer FBS's question. I'd say the complete elimination of pain in the 2 areas (elbow/wrist) that I always have pain in. R3 definitely helped with that.

Not to play devils advocate, but couldn't it also just be that over time it's healed on it's own?
Anyone who has ever had deep tissue or Active Release ( not the same as myofascial), can put R3 to the test. Lastly, a true test is about 2 weeks into R3, and a good routine simply hit quads monday and hamstrings on thurs, and use R3 to decrease healing time. Squats plus deads at high intensity requires precision timing, and intermediate to advance workout experience, IMO.*
R3 though is guaranteed to give you the edge to get it done. I have horrible recovery so I speak extremely highly of it, since my first month as an employee with Cellucor. I recently got to give advice to two pro MMA fighters ( UFC !), and I suggested MSM on top of whatever they were taking, and of course R3, but you know.....doing my job, lol.*
Feedback has been good thus far. Wouldn't get asked for more otherwise?.
Point is that at higher levels of training it makes a significant difference. For the average weekend warrior it may help reduce soreness, but for a competitive athlete speeding recovery of the tissues and nervous system is essential. ZMA, MSM, Cissus, and R3. Thats my warrior stack, lol.*

I was in Florida the past 4 days or so, didn't train but continued to take P6 day and night as needed, and I took R3 at night up until Saturday, haven't done so since as I didn't have the other canister with me. *Overall it was a great trip, playing tennis in the 95 degree Florida sun is no joke, we were all soaked with sweat. *It was fun, nice to get away with friends, wifey, etc.. *I trained this morning but didn't log it as I think I'm still physically drained from the drive back yesterday, the heat, and not eating enough this morning - gotta hit up the grocery store later today. *I did the 6 hr drive straight yesterday only stopping for gas once, we had to get back and pick up lil man as it was his 8th b-day, so picked him up then his friend...then spent 5 hours at the fun house, arcade, bounce house, and laser tag. *Yeah I needed some coffee to function after all that. *Waking up at 5am, driving then entertaining two 8 yr olds for 6 hours. I fell asleep fast last night around 10pm or so. Thankfully my 3Z from AI Sports was at my door when we got home so I popped 3 of those capsules and within 45 mins it was lights out.I see the forums are still acting up, and enter key isn't working...so it's sloppy post format today :D

The funny thing about vacactions is most of the time, when you get back from one, you need another vacation to recover from the first one! I'm surprised you chose Florida. Don't most southern boys choose to go someplace cold on vacation? Well I finally got those damn 95's again, this time for good clean reps. Still not the 8-10 reps I did over a month ago but at least I got 'em again. After a vacation no less. I bet that doesn't make it hard to focus on the reps at all. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fyh8cloAIbY/TNeDf_FHZYI/AAAAAAAAAl0/G2195GFrk1U/s1600/snotty_kid.jpgWow, that's some iconic snot!! :p That kids parents should be ashamed. It's not that bad though, just some snuffles and draining, like the beginning or ending of a cold.

Dayum this week has been horrible, dragging like fack. Just can't find or haven't found the training swagger I had last week. I don't give up, there's still 2 days left to get work in. P6 will be finished tomorrow so I'll probably wrap this up tomorrow as well. An R3 log would be kinda boring...thoughts?

Thanks everyone, yeah I know it happens from time to time..just really pissing me off as last week was so great. I may just chill the next day or two and hit it again Sunday or Monday morning. This morning was more of the same, a little better, but not enough time once again.

That sounds like an easy fix. I know that's frustrating as heck though.

There are days when you feel like you can conquer the world. Other times, just matching some of your newbie efforts seems difficult. A study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research suggests that body temperature has a lot to do with gym performance.
Testing a group of athletes on vertical jumps, isometric pulls and max rep squats, scientists found that levels of testosterone and cortisol didn't really have much of an impact compared to core body temperature, which fluctuates throughout the day. It's generally highest in late afternoon.
This research suggests that your best bet for achieving peak performance is to work out around 5PM. But if the timing messes up your schedule to the point where can't consistently get to the gym, stick with a time of day that works for you and maybe spend a little longer warming up.

That's intersting. There is a lot of science behind training huh? I read the other day that soaking your hands in cold water for a few seconds before you bench can help you PR... I think it was something as simple as when your hands are cold you squeeze the bar tighter or something. Interesting though.

Unfortunately, 7am is the more common time I have to start, anytime after 1pm it's usually frustrating.

I'd rather the Skins either be completely awesome or completely awful. I can't stand being "mediocre." We either need a deep playoff run, or try our best for the lottery and get a franchise QB.

I don't think we'll be bad, but the NFC East is always tough with Philly, Dallas and NY. I am glad they didn't go out and bring in a ton of over priced free agents and trade away all our draft picks like we have the last few years however.

Dude has a cannon arm, they need faster receivers. :p He had an incredible game against the eagles last year but that was about it. He's young but should develop into a pretty good pro QB. We lost Sidney Rice, arguably our best reciever in the Mcnabb trade as well. Looking like another long season but hey it's just preseason :p

Just a quick update as I trained with the new C4 flavor -1,3 last weekend. Still the same great C4 power/effectiveness. I was pleasantly surprised. The tingles began about 5-9 minutes after consumption (same great tingles). I was on the phone on the drive to the gym, once they really kicked in 'aite bud, gotta go!'. :D
I think very highly of the entire CELLUCOR line so I'm not going to gave this a # rating. It's just great, as the original C4 is, this flavor is my new favorite from their line. Very curious to try the other new flavor as well, Pink Lemonade. I'm sure it's excellent as well.
