I should warn you, now that I am subbed to your journal I do ask a lot of questions, to me what we do is a continual learning experience, it's when we stop learning that we stop progressing :D Sooooooo what are TechoGym Glute Raises??? Is that a machine that you use at your gym????
hehehe, yeah I had never heard of that company until joining this new gym in May, TechnoGym (http://www.technogym.com/us/) is an Italy based company and their equipment is awesome!

The machine is kinda like this one, chest pad with handles in front of it, but the foot pad is at the bottom, and you kinda slide/push it back behind you to full extension. About 1/2 way to full extension you can really feel it in the glutes:p

Agree with you completely about the progressing part. I try to tell that to my wife when she starts getting frustrated. I have to remind her (and sometimes myself too) that as long as you're moving forward, that's what counts, don't worry about how fast your progress is as long as you're still moving in the right direction.

Oh and...not a Eli fan...in any way...ever. Payton is great however and I like watching him play. I just hope we get this lockout crap over with.

Da Steelers? Good team, I like a few players, Hines, The Hair, & Harrison

I'll admit it, Eli does act like a tool sometimes, that deer in headlights look, one-sided shoulder shrug and then his corky expression. But '07 was an awesome year, beating the perfect pansy azz Pats, Eli's escape, Tyree's amazing catch and then Plax's catch to seal it. Ahh the memories..

Yes sir! lol, I like "the Hair" moniker! I don't mind the team so much...just Eli. Started when he through his tantrum at the draft. I gotta admit, I think there's only one team I hate more then the Pats.

I remember exactly where I was and with who during that game!!!! I have never ever seen people go wild like that ever!!! I really hate Belichick I think he is the worst coach ever. Keeping in his first string just so he can run up the score, cheating and just being down right nasty, not a fan at all. I know football is a very competitive sport, but you don't have to take good sportsmanship out of the game.

Da Steelers are decent I am just not a Ben fan. I do like "the Hair" :D

Both my sons are Philadelphia Eagles Fans, I know I know take the knife out of my back. My ex is a huge fan so they have to love what their dad loves  I'm just glad they got rid of McScabb, he was ok during regular season but always ended up choking when it counted the most. I'm not saying at one time he was not a great quarterback, but I think after his first major injury he just became scared. Refused to run the ball because he's scared of getting hurt. Like I always tell my sons, in the game of football it's when you hesitate that you get hurt. Now they have Vick which IMO if Reid didn't have his nose so far up McNabbs arse and put Vick in from the get go they could of made it to the Superbowl and won in 2009. I picked up Vick last year in my fantasy football, and he did awesome for me :D The guys on my league were all hoping I would make a dumb girl move and drop him. Like yeah that was going to happen  Daddy didn't raise a fool :p

Yep ditto for me, that's when our Giants group down here was huge, the game was awesome, but I was nervous before that play in the 4th; could not sit down at all. Right before Eli made that escape my heart dropped, then he made it out..that throw..the Tyree catch when I first saw it, I thought it was incomplete...then that reply over and over and over again. Then of course PLAX (please re-sign) made that great catch in the end zone.

Now remember Bellich!t was on the G-men coaching staff on the'86 and '90 team, and has a 12 yr history with them.....he's just an a-hole now.

Da Filthy Eagalssss, a team I love to hate. I've got good friends and cousins who are die hard Eagalz fans. Their loss, every year :p

ahhh so true! I despise belichick. Dude is as dirty as they come. I have to agree with you on Ben. I didn't want to believe all the crap...but I can't be naive either. I love "The Hair's" intensity, passion, and humility and I think he brings the true level of sportsmanship to the game.

As for the Eagles, I wasn't sure about cutting McNabb at first but it seems like they made the right call. You're right, he has played great in the regular season so many times but in every post season, he finds a way to choke and ruin their playoff run. I think Vick has a better chance with the Eagles.

Yeah please don't remind me :o We New Yorker's don't always make the best choices. Come on they let Amani Toomer go and I think he was good for a few more seasons. And letting Michael Strahan retire, hell I would have given him crazy money to stay. I also think he had a few more seasons in him. Yes I know they offered him some money to come back the following year, but they didn't not make it tempting enough for him. I am a huge Strahan fan. And don't get me started with Shockey :(

Without a doubt Vick will be great for them plus he has Deshaun Jackson and Macklin (I can't remember his first name right now) That combination is going to be explosive!!!

Plax is the man still IMO, but a bit of a moron for shooting himself and let getting locked up for it. I know they won't bring him back but they NEED to, Smith gets injured too much, and Barden doesn't get enough playing time, hopefully Hixon will be back 100%. Really missed 'crazy legs' last year, that pre-season injury set the tone for the whole year, unfortunately :(

Strahan is still the sh!t, the best, really missed his play and leadership when he left..Anyone miss Tiki?:p Toomer was another retard mistake letting him go, dude is a legend. I'm a hugeeeeeee Shockey fan, since his days in Miami, I was beyond pissed when they let him go, I think he's with the Jaguars now? Sad.

Nice workouts, Matz!

On the topic of football:

I am so ****ing pumped to see the Lions D-Line in action. It's about time we start moving in the right direction, and slowly building a solid team, that looks like it has a lot of potential. I have been let down year after year, and while this year may not see huge improvements, depending on whenever the **** free agency starts, I think another draft will put us in a really good position to contend for the NFC North. I think we'll be a force this year, but I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid yet.

Thanks man, I'm very curious to see what the next steps are.

Is your daughter still posing after watching the show?

Lately, when I've been around young kids that are the age Caylee Anthony was when she passed, I can't help but to think about her and what happened, and how disgusted I am that her sick mother will be released from jail this week.

It takes a special typo of sicko to kill a 2 yr old, and even sicker type when it's your own child and then not report it for a month. Our justice system failed miserably.

I've signed the petition to create Caylee's Law, where parents must report their child missing within 24 hours or it's considered a felony, why wasn't this a law before now?

Click below to sign or pass on to people you know.

That stuff with with Caylee is awful. Kinda hit close to home with daughter being about her age. Luckily, our state reps are already working on bill for Caylee's Law

That's adorable man, that was a great photo of her. Lots of personality! Maybe she will follow in her Aunt's footsteps ;)

Yeah dude, I'm still pissed Casey Anthony will be free on Sunday, she needs to be punished. We were at Barnes & Noble this past Saturday, in the kids section, they had a group from a local church performing 'to kill a mockingbird'. The crowd was parents and mostly little girls around that age, it hits home now when I'm around kids that age. How could anyone hurt a child that young, innocent, and precious? It makes me sick.

post workout - shake with fast acting carbs.

then 45 - 1 hour later get a meal in. depending on your goals you can have carbs or no carbs in your meal. usually i train in the evening, so my dinner after my workout is some type of lean meat 6-10oz with veggies or salad and some form of fats. fish oil, vinager/olive oil dressing or not mixed nuts.

The floor will be done on Saturday! Getting hype!

I was feeling very tired this morning, but my sweetness C4 is back in the game-plan so 3 scoops before training and I had enough 'juice' to get thru today.

~Supplements~
Cellucor NO3 - 4 capsules upon waking with morning shake
Cellucor C4 - 3 scoops in 11 oz cold water, 20 mins before training
Cellucor R3 - 5 capsules post training with shake
Dymatize Elite Mass Fudge Brownie protein used

~Cardio~
1. I rode the bike for 10 mins/2 miles.

~Training~
*The start of week 10 of Gethin is on hold, need equipment that's unavailable*

2. Inner Hip Abduction w/slow negatives:
working: 10/125, 10/145, 10/155 The whole stack is 155lbs, kinda surprising.

3. Incline Cable Flyes:
warm: 6/90
working: 6/100, 6/110, 4/120

4. TechnoGym Inner Chest Press: similar to db fly movement, very nice
warm: 8/80
working: 6/120, 6/150, 4/180, 2/190
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3534001&stc=1&d=1310653461

5. Precor Incline Press:
warm: 8/80
working: 6/120, 6/140

6. LifeFitness 2-stack Lat Pulldown:
the one at my gym has one pull-down bar not two cable handles
working: 10/72.5lbs each stack, 8/87.5lbs each stack, 4/95.5lbs each stack
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3534061&stc=1&d=1310653893

7. Precor Seated Row:
working: 8/110, 6/140, 4/160, 5/200 *stack*
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3534071&stc=1&d=1310654141
*like this one but the handles are up/down and left/right for rear delt work*

8. Nautilus Lower Back erector spinae:
working: 9/140, 7/155, 5/170

9. LifeFitness Weighted Ab Crunch Bench: only room to hold 4 10lb plates<-stooopid!
working: 2x20/40lbs

Some Thoughts:
This morning started off a struggle but I worked through it and got it done, got a pretty nice pump today with the addition of NO3 again. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it, pumps are bonkers! I remember during my last run with it, on a leg day I had vascularity in my arms..nuts I know. C4 = I love you, the orange flavor is my favorite, so good and always effective, might try 3.5 scoops one day if it doesn't send me to the ER (I kid, I kid). So the new floor at the gym will be complete Saturday, I'm actually going on a hike that morning with some friends 'outdoor cardio' so won't be training till Sunday. Of course I'll be training tomorrow morning, but I'm looking forward to the construction being done!

Just curious what the majority of you do as far as eating post-workout. I've read some pros eat immediately after their post-workout shake, and others wait at least one hour.

What do you do? :)

I drink a shake within 5 minutes of getting out of gym and follow that with a wheat wrap including spinach, eggs, and another meat source. I workout around 6am and usually only have a shake and spoon of PB or oats in my stomach before that so its kinda needed that way

Ok I think maybe we need to start a football thread in the Supp Misc. Section LOL we are def. stepping all over this journal :o

I did really like Strahan. Ok, so off topic...back to the log!

I think we'll be a force this year, but I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid yet.

wait wut? I thought the Lions were a semi-pro team that just had a few exhibition games in the NFL? :D

Just curious what the majority of you do as far as eating post-workout. I've read some pros eat immediately after their post-workout shake, and others wait at least one hour.

What do you do? :)

I take a shake with isolate and casein mix right after I finish. Then I change and all that crap so ~15 minutes later, I heat up some food and eat on the couches at the gym. I will have carbs dependent upon if I'm doing carbs that day (carb cycling). If I am then I'll have some oatmeal with some raisins and two cans of tuna. Andy Haman (works out at my gym) will eat a full meal right afterwards and sometimes a shake too.

Okay I have gone now over a month without any journaling of any kind. I am having serious withdrawals!!! Yeah I do keep a written journal of all my workouts, macros, supp stack etc.... but I so miss the interaction and feedback I get from an online journal. Plus my old one I was able to post pics of my progress and life in general, and yes I encouraged chats in there as well. I guess what I'm asking is when you guys complete a journal do you experience like a void and have to start a new one right away????

It's unfortunate people hold grudges and can be nasty on the 'net. I don't think anything is that serious to act that way. This site is a source for knowledge and motivation, and there's no need to get nasty with one another. :)

Awesome, I know I'll sub sub to it asap when you do.

Yeah same here, overcast day today so it's not too hot, first day in awhile I haven't turned on the fan in my office. Kinda nice.

We're going hiking tomorrow morning, 9am, if it doesn't rain and it looks like it's going to be another overcast day with temps in 70's - high 80's, not bad at all. Last weekend was 97 everyday. Too damn hot.

I had the urge to make it a wheelz day

This morning was just ridiculous, I think I went to bed too early last night, before 11pm and woke up around 5:45am'ish. I think I might have slept too much, kinda felt like I was in a coma when I woke up. Ate some food, probably not enough & left for the gym.

~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - Two capsules with breakfast

Cellucor NO3 - Four capsules upon waking with water

Muscle Meds Code Red - One scoop in 10 oz water, sipped on way to gym and throughout cardio warm up on treadmill. Fruit Punch flavor.

Cellucor R3 - Five capsules with post workout shake

~Cardio~
As I stated before I was in a complete fog this morning, eyes foggy and teary while forcing myself to do this cardio warm-up crap on the treadmill. Meanwhile the dude two treadmills down from me was wide awake doing hardcore HIIT running at 7:25am, show off..... :p

1. Zombie Treadmill walk for 10 mins, increasing speed & incline every 75 seconds.

~Training~
*The start of week 10 of Gethin is on hold, need equipment that's unavailable*
Today was da wheelz day

2. Inner Hip Abduction:
warm: 10/90, 10/110
working: drop set = 8/150, 8/130, 8/110, 8/90

3. Outer Hip Abduction:
warm: 10/145, 10/190
working: 6/235, 4/250, 3/280, 3/295 *stack* PR

3. TechnoGym Leg Press: feet together
working: 10/220, 10/280, 8/320, then drop set of 8/380 + 4/320
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3538821&stc=1&d=1310755692

4. LifeFitness Seated Leg Curl:
working: 12/115, 10/145, 8/175, 6/205 PR-> has always been a week area/lift for me :)
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3538841&stc=1&d=1310755728

5. Nautilus NitroPlus Seated Calf:
working:12/155, 10/145, 8/175, 6/205
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3538851&stc=1&d=1310755795

6. Cybex Eagle Calf Press:
working: 10/120, 8/130 then standing burn outs all angles
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3538861&stc=1&d=1310755842

7. LifeFitness Glute Press:
working: drop sets both legs, alternating 10/130 then 8/110

Some Thoughts:
I turned a sh!t morning into a pretty good workout, not sure if it was the Code Red or just me doing a lot of effective self talk. Whatever it was, it sure did work! I left the gym feeling pretty damn good, and it's FRIDAY! TGIF x 1000.

Forum Thoughts:
Why are we limited to using only 8 images per post?? Kinda weird, I had 3 more to add but can't.

Cellucor Thoughts:
I did start with P6 yesterday morning but forgot to include it with the post, so tonight will be the 4th ingestion of the capsules..it's two in the am, and two in the pm. I love this stuff, it usually takes about 9 days for it to really show it's "teeth" as Mike once told me.

I definitely feel the benefits of R3 kicking in, recovery time is a lot quicker. My immune system feels strong, and joints aren't achy at all, my bum right elbow flares up during the beginning of training sometimes but then goes away as I work out longer. I'm hoping the R3 will help cease all pain I get there, as it's very annoying.

NO3, deh stuff is wonderful. Nuff said.

C4 is awesome, I just have some samples of Code Red and I wanted to try it out this morning. A very effective and tasty pre-workout supp.

do you think that C4, R3 and N03 stack is better for a cut or a bulk. like wich one would it show results with?? im wondering because i want to log the stack that you sent me soon, but im worried that it wont be as effective since im in a cutting phase! what do you think, should i wait till the bulk or should i go for it soon?

Thanks guys.

They are great machines, I've got no issue with them. It's just from the construction at my gym the past 2 weeks I've ONLY been able to use them. I like the option of both.

I'd say it's good for a nice lean bulk, the last time I used C4/NO3/P6 I gained lean size & strength. R3 is a recovery/defense supplement so it's not really made for lean or bulk, just overall general health and recovery (joints, immune system, etc..).

I wish my Cellucor stuff would have been here by now, but chances are that it was stolen over 4th of July while I was out of town. I don't know why those d-bags just leave stuff on my porch.

I'm probably just going to buy some I'm wanting to run the C4 + NO3 I think.

I'd say it's good for a nice lean bulk, the last time I used C4/NO3/P6 I gained lean size & strength. R3 is a recovery/defense supplement so it's not really made for lean or bulk, just overall general health and recovery (joints, immune system, etc..).

Ya, thats what i was thinking too. but the thing is im not planning to start my bulk until i reach around 160lbs. wich should be another few months. but i also dont want to disappoint mike by not logging the stack for a while!! quite a dilemma, haha. but i tried emailing him about about it , but no response so far ( i emailed him last week). any way, thanks for your advice matz, i know i can always turn to you for some solid advice!

All joking aside, I am subbed to about 60 journals I am a huge fan of journals and at one time I had 4 of them running at one time. I get some much inspiration and learn so much from them :)

That's it? Well here's one more for ya! :D http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=115012401&page=28

I guess what I'm asking is when you guys complete a journal do you experience like a void and have to start a new one right away????

I do reviews and logs but my workout log I've keep for a couple years now so I always have that. Sometimes I take a break and don't update as often but I've been pretty good about it this year and like you, I put up videos and macros and pics (sorry no noodz :( but it comes pretty close to that when I'm on stage! :p)

Yep they are, this is a sponsored supplement log which has kinda turned into a journal as well, it's an ongoing log so I don't mind at all.

It's unfortunate people hold grudges and can be nasty on the 'net. I don't think anything is that serious to act that way. This site is a source for knowledge and motivation, and there's no need to get nasty with one another. :)

Agreed. You can always start up a workout journal when you're done with the log. One thing I like about journals is the interaction and broad learning that can take place.

Bro...I'm sure your mailman or UPS man did not intentionally put your stuff there to be stolen. We (yes, I'm a mailman) are told to leave packages (try best to conceal ) for customers convenience. If they hadn't left it, would you be complaining why didn't the douche bag leave it, now I gotta go down to office to pick it up? We try to place in best spots & parcel lockers if available. If this is an issue, all you have to do is call down to ups or post office & request they not leave packages at residence if not home...then they'll leave a pick up slip for ya. Hope this clears it up a bit...
Have a great weekend.

Well not that I asked for any sort of clarification, but he never bothers to "try best to conceal". He lays it smack in front of my door, instead of placing it to the left or the right behind the concealed areas, or under a deck-chair or in multiple other places that would be more concealed. If they hadn't left it I would be extremely happy, because it would be on it's way back here as of now in all likelihood rather than just some little punk running around with it.

I completely understand your frustration bro. I, by no means, am trying to argue w you. There are a lot of "lazy" delivery personnel out there...hell, my mailman being one of them. Unfortunate ...cuz its gives us good ones a bad rap. I was simply pointing out why it was left & our perspective. Sorry if I offended you. No worries man it wouldn't have been a big deal except for the timing. It probably got here the day I left before 4th of July, and I was gone for almost a week. So I'm pretty sure anyone that has a package sitting on there porch for nearly a week would get stolen. It was just bad timing, I live next to a church and across the street from an elementary school. It's not a bad neighborhood, but all those people walking around (I live about 5 blocks from where they launched fireworks) + a package on my doorstep for almost a week was just asking to have it stolen lol.

1. Some source of protein. The source depends on my macros for the day. If I have extra fats, then I'll have a steak. If my fats are maxed then I'll have chicken or fish. I'll usually have a veggie too like green beans or asparagus to help fill me up.

2. I've done all three. I prefer the early afternoon. I have time to wake-up (NOT a morning person), and the gym usually isn't too busy then and I have plenty of energy. Too late at night and I start risking missing workouts due to getting too busy or tired, or something else coming up. Nope, has no effect of what I eat for my last meal. My last meal will be made to fit my remaining macros for the day.

My last meal is usually about 6 eggs 3 or 4 being whites and the other being yolks along with half a cup of oatmeal or some other carb source. Lately i've done that as my 2nd to last meal and my last meal being a shake of MHP's Up your Mass Cinnabun. Stuff is delicious!

I usually train during the mid afternoon because I work at a gym and it allows me to workout during my shift ;) If I ever train late though my last meal is usually a shake and a cup of oats.

1) Cottage cheese + whole milk every night. Then depending on what my intake was for the day it could be additional. Sometimes I'll drink some ground up oats in water if I need the carbs, or if I need everything I'll put some peanut butter + oatmeal + raspberries + blueberries + whey protein/weight gainer in the blender + whole milk in the blender.

2) Afternoon or night. The later the better for me usually. I don't really "feel" like it until about 5ish most of the time. Doesn't really change my daily caloric intake though.

I'm still bulking so I eat a lot I've been around 211-215 the last week or so. I'm going to try and get to about 225 and then do a little cutting to lean out a bit.

cottage cheese ftw, but I'm lactose intolerant so it's a no no, they stopped selling the Lactaid cottage cheese in my area, no idea why, that shiat was good! Esp with pineapple. :)

I just took my first dose of M5, 2 scoops IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD. It took about 10 minutes and then 'tingles' started, just wanted to make a quick note. I'm out, it's chest/back day, Day 1 of week 10, DTP method..which means volume out da wazzzoooo.

I would probably die if I were ever to be lactose intolerant. I drink at least half a gallon of whole milk per day. I will have to buckle down and buy the M5 + C4 + NO3 whenever I get some spare $$ since I don't guess I will be getting that promo pack lol.

Same here man, I struggle to limit myself to 1/2 a gallon per day. I could easily down a gallon without even trying. A dairy cow purchase would definitely save me a ton of money, I'm all the time having to go to the grocery store for more milk lol. I'm doing whole milk right now because I'm still bulking, but 2% is typically my milk of choice.

Chest & Back Day
DTP Method

Today was Day 1 with M5, the fruit punch taste is really nice, and the 'tingles' were felt within 10 minutes of ingestion. 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of build in 10 oz cold water.

The DTP method was on tap for today, it stands for Dramatic Transformation Principle method and was developed by Kris Gethin. It's basically just an a$$ load of reps split up between 2 exercises in super sets. I personally do not like it, it's just too many damn reps and feels more annoying then enjoyable. I mean I get a good pump from it, but it fatigues the muscles more to the point where it's just like 'what the fack?'..

Anyways, here's some pics of the M5, followed by my workout below.

2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3544391&stc=1&d=1310938261

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3544401&stc=1&d=1310938261

No clumps at all..

Ahhh, soo good. The fruit punch flavor is on point!
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3544421&stc=1&d=1310938261

~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - 2 capsules taken with breakfast and morning shake
Dymatize Elite Mass - 2 scoops in 14oz of cold water, Fudge Brownie flavor
Cellucor NO3 - 5 capsules taken 90 mins before training on an empty stomach
Cellucor M5 - 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD taken 20 mins before training
Universal A7 - Intra, 2 scoops in 18oz of cold water. Black Cherry Bomb flavor :D
Cellucor R3 - 5 capsules taken after training with shake

~Training~
Cardio: Quick light warm-up on the treadmill

DTP Super-Set: 50 reps of lightest weight super-setted with 50 reps of lightest weight with the 2nd exercise, all the way up to 10 reps of heaviest weight, and then repeat starting with heaviest weight down to lightest.

Super-Set #1 = exercises 1 & 2
Super-Set #2 = exercises 3 & 4

1. DB Chest Press:
1x50/35's, 1x40/45's, 1x30/50's, 1x20/60's, 1x10/80's

2. Bent Over DB Rows switched to 1-Arm DB Rows after 30 rep set
1x50/35's, 1x40/45's, 1x30/50's, 1x20/60's, 1x10/80's

3. DB Chest Press:
1x10/80's, 1x20/65's, 1x30/55's, 1x40/40's, 1x50/35's

4. 1-Arm DB Rows:
1x10/80's, 1x20/65's, 1x30/55's, 1x40/40's, 1x50/35's

As noted above, after the 30 reps of Bent Over DB Rows my left leg hamstring/calf area started feeling irritated. It felt like a numb nerve-ending type feeling and made it unbearable to continue to do the bent over DB rows. It was a very weird feeling.

~Some Thoughts~
Today was an OK workout, not great. When I first got there all benches were taken so I had to do some iso-rows on the machine until they were free. About 10 mins..

Besides the hammy/calf irritation, the back of my right hand starting to cramp up and feel sore. It's from an old injury where I fractured two fingers, about 10 years ago

I worked legs this morning, DTP, quads/hammys..I wobbled outta the gym this morning.

Quads and Hammy's Day
DTP Method

Today was Day 2 with M5, the fruit punch taste is very nice! The 'tingles' were felt within 10 minutes of ingestion. 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of build in 10 oz cold water.

The DTP method was on tap again today, it stands for Dramatic Transformation Principle method and was developed by Kris Gethin. It's basically just an a$$ load of reps split up between 2 exercises in super sets. I personally do not like it, it's just too many damn reps and feels more annoying then enjoyable. I mean I get a good pump from it, but it fatigues the muscles more to the point where it's just like 'what the fack?'..

~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - 2 capsules taken with breakfast and morning shake
Dymatize Elite Mass - 2 scoops in 14oz of cold water, Fudge Brownie flavor
Cellucor NO3 - 4 capsules taken 90 mins before training on an empty stomach
Cellucor M5 - 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD taken 20 mins before training
Universal A7 - Intra, 2 scoops in 18oz of cold water. Black Cherry Bomb flavor
Cellucor R3 - 5 capsules taken after training with shake

~Training~
Cardio: 10 minute warm up on stair mill, from levels 3 - 11, mini HIIT I'd say

DTP Super-Set: 50 reps of lightest weight super-setted with 50 reps of lightest weight with the 2nd exercise, all the way up to 10 reps of heaviest weight, and then repeat starting with heaviest weight down to lightest.

Super-Set #1 = exercises 1 & 2
Super-Set #2 = exercises 3 & 4

~Some Thoughts~
Today was a pretty good leg day, seems like I've been having a lot of those lately. I guess I'm maturing :p liking leg days a lot more. The DTP was intense today, really had to stay focused with all those damn reps. I was able to complete both super-sets with zero interruptions as the gym was semi-empty this morning. So I placed a towel on one machine and my shaker and log by the another. They are right beside each other, so luckily I had them all to myself the entire time I was there. WIN! I wobbled out of the gym today in a nice and calm way..

The hammy irritation is good today, I did some stretching last night and this morning before training. I hope it helped. The back of my right hand is still very stiff/sore, even though I iced it for 40 mins last night. Weird. It's probably from iPhone-itis, too many addictive games on mine, and/or work, I type a lot and fast. Meh, whatever I'll get over it.

My favorite is arms cuz I like the sick pumps I get. My least favorite is legs cuz my knee can't handle heavy squats every day.

Side Note: I used C4 and NO3 this morning for my arm workout. These two products combined with super sets, equals was mother fuking sick pump. :)

Favorite is Legzzzzzz, it's my strongest and I really really love doing squats (front, oh, back, you name it)

Least favorite Chest. I absolutely hate chest day and I have to force myself to add a chest day into my routine. Bench is my weakest lift and I mean weak, my 11 yo can bench more than me :(

Morning Soopamyko, you must have been lurking in my old journal :p Yes I can move a hell of a lot more weight with my legs than the rest of me. I think it's from years of wearing heels srsly. You need to develop serious balance and calf muscles to do so. I think that is why most women are stronger on lower body then upper body. Inb4shebrahscience :D Of all the exercises leg presses have always been my strongest and last summer I was doing 500+ leg presses for reps.

I love leg workouts LOL I have a vid in my old journal of me I think doing 425. So it's no e-stats :D I was also a lot stronger last summer, I was doing DC Training and had a great workout partner. But he's gone and training alone is totally different. No one there to save my arse if I fail :(

Reading everyone's journals is making me want to restart mine. I know I keep saying this, i need to get my arse and gear and just do it!

Are you taking anything for it? There are a few supps that really do work. Plus I also use wraps when I go heavy, and they do make a major difference. At my age my knees are not what they used to be. And the past year I have been having issues with my ACL, it's not severe enough for surgery yet.

Agree 100% I wish they made a supplement that took away all the aches and pains of getting older :o

And I am a supp whore as well LOL Nothing beats diet, but I really believe that because of our daily lives it's almost impossible to rely strictly on food to give us all we need. Calves and Abs Day
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3550671&stc=1&d=1311098172
Tanya Merryman
great body but a butta-face:p

Today was Day 3 with M5, I decided to only use 1 scoop of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD in 10 oz cold water. It's just an calves and abs day, so no need for 2 scoops.

No DTP method today, I'm happy. It was supposed to be one giant set in circuit training mode but I was interrupted by a personal trainer and his group of 4 doing their own circuit..so I was able to get through 2 exercises of the 4 exercise circuit then had to stop and do it regular, one exercise at a time. I was a bit bummed, but such is life.

~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - 2 capsules taken with breakfast and morning shake
Gaspari MyoFusion - 2 scoops in 14oz of cold water, Milk Chocolate flavor
Cellucor NO3 - none taken today
Cellucor M5 - 1 scoop of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD taken 20 mins before training
Universal A7 - Intra, 2 scoops in 18oz of cold water. Black Cherry Bomb flavor
Cellucor R3 - 5 capsules taken after training with post workout shake
Dymatize Elite Mass - 2 scoops post workout - Fudge Brownie flavor

~Training~
Cardio: 10 minute warm up on treadmill and then 10 mins on elliptical machine.

1. Smith Machine Standing Calf Raises: 2 sets on a step, 2 sets on 10 lb plates
working: 20/135, 20/135, 20/185, 20/185

2. 45 degree Calf Press Machine: various foot positions
working: 20/135, 20/135, 20/175, 20/175

3. Hanging Leg Raises on Roman Chair:
working: 4 x 25

4. Incline Crunches:
working: 4 x 20

5. Standing Twists:
continuous for 1 minute

~Some Thoughts~
Today was a decent day, after the interruption and total game plan change I made the most of it. Achieved a nice burn in the calves and abs, really worked both today.

im not matz but its a complete protein.

but if yore worried about macros then i dont know if you want it.

12g crabs per scoop. i believe, 22-23g protein scoop. 200+ cals per servining. (2 scoops make 1 serving for males) not that bad of a protein heck i drink this before i go sleep.

Thanks for the response mayko! ya i was thinking its probably a better protein for a bulk. the only thing that really bothers me on there is the carbs. since im carb cycling i have days where i only eat very small amounts of carbs, so im not sure about that. ill be buying it during a bulk, thats for sure though.

~Some Thoughts~
Today was one of those days in which I think I'd have been better off just sleeping in............................BUT couldn't because when I wake up hungry, going back to sleep isn't an option.http://assets.bodybuilding.com/forum/images/icons/icon8.gif

I'll hope tomorrow is a much better day for training, or I'll just run for an hour outside.

On the plus side I did get a great pump in my chest during those DB Pull-overs, my biceps and triceps were pumped very nicely during those giant sets. Gotta love/hate feeling for those...:p

1st. kid cudi is the man!

2nd. cant you just add more water to cherry to make it lighter??

3rd. IDK why im waiting, i guess im intimidated, lol. but it could be that i already have extend open and watermelon A7 open. so i dont want to have like 3 open tubs. but its not a big problem, i probably will open it when im ready haha.

Delts and some other random crap, not much time Day:p

Today was Day 5 with M5, I used 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD in 10 oz cold water and sipped before training and during today as time was short. No intra-training BCAA (A7) was used today.

I was awake today, as I over-slept in way past the normal time. It feels good to be rested and I'm resting this weekend too, so no harm done.

~Supplements~
Cellucor P6 - 2 capsules taken with breakfast and morning shake
Dymatize Elite Mass - 2 scoops in 10oz of cold water - Fudge Brownie flavor
Cellucor NO3 - 4 capsules taken 60 minutes before training
Cellucor M5 - 2 scoops of IGNITE + 1 scoop of BUILD taken 20 mins before training
Universal A7 - none today
Cellucor R3 - none today
Dymatize Elite Mass - 2 scoops post workout - Fudge Brownie flavor

~Training~
Cardio: no warm up this morning

I did a little from this today, did not track weight used as I only had about 35 mins to get a quick work out in.

~Some Thoughts~
Today was rushed as I've already mentioned. I did get a nice quick pump in the delts with the stuff above, those rear delt cable raises felt great! I also did some flat bench after, my #'s have definitely gone down with that exercise. I did 15/135 and then 12/185 then bolted for the showers.

Intra-training BCAA supplementation is important. Here's a quick little blurb to help define:

Bcaa’s are known for their exercise performance assets. After being digested, bcaa’s have far-reaching effects in the body from building and repairing tissues, to producing chemicals that facilitate our brains to function at full capability.

Some of the other benefits associated with BCAA Supplements include:
Muscle Recovery
Prevention of muscle catabolism
Promotes protein synthesis
Fuels workouts and boosts recovery
Boosts metabolic breakdown

Okay guys serious question here and I would like honest opinions. I looked at the link explaining the PHAT routine. I have been doing high volume lower weight routine now for a while and I am a huge fan of the 100 rep club as RyouBakua can vouch since he was subbed to my last journal.

I had tried Madcow 5x5 program and I hated it. Total waste of my time IMO

So my question is do you think this would work for someone who really likes high reps? Thanks :)

You will really enjoy the Hypertrophy days if you like high rep work for sure. The Power Days you might enjoy less, but overall you will probably see pretty good results. It is possible though to mainly work in the 10 rep range during your Power Days on most exercises, except for your core lifts. Hypertrophy Days generally speaking will be 12+ reps per set.

Overall you will most likely enjoy PHAT especially if you like high rep work. Just understand that the reason for the lower reps on Power Days are geared towards different muscle fibers than the higher reps on Hypertrophy Days. So you will want to do as much weight as possible on those Power Days and less weight/more reps on those Hypertrophy Days.

I couldn't really stand the 5x5 either. I just felt like it wasn't really much of a workout. Like others said, you'll probably like the hypertrophy days over the power days, but that's what really makes this routine stand out to me, it's a hybrid of both. If anything try it for a few short weeks to give yourself a break from your current high volume work.
