To put the video into perspective... a few months back when Brock Lesnar fought Shane Carwin the announcers were going over each fighter's stats, one of which being how many times each fighter could bench 225.
I think I remember hearing the announcers say Lesnar benched 225 (only) 39 times.

I'm pretty sure you're right on Lesnar's bench reps.
Here are his stats from his NFL tryout:
Bench: 475
Squat: 695
40 yard dash: 4.7
Standing board jump: 10 feet
Vertical: 35 inches
All while weighing in at ~290lbs

I also love how Hasselbeck said Cam Newton was a second round draft pick after the college season was over. Then Newton had that little media tryout and Hasselbeck suddenly says he could be a top 5 pick. So suddenly actually playing the game doesn't mean anything, only workouts with no pads, no defense, and no game time pressure.

Newton blew his workout.....Not sure why Hasselbeck would think he would move up? Cam Newton is not a pro QB. He needs to use that frame to learn to play tight end or something.

Not sure if we're talking about the same workout?
I'm talking about this one, not the combine.

you talkin about the combine?
cause IMO, combine is all but useless except for finding out peoples 40 times................
judge their playing on the field, thats all that really matters in the end.
but, with the right coaching staff, i think cam could end up being a decent pro QB.......however, he may not get that with some of the teams that will be looking at him

Ya,
He was awful at the combine and its not useless because all of the teams looking to draft him saw that performance. He should have skipped it and waited for his pro day and worked with someone until then. IMO he is not accurate enough to be a good pro and has happy feet in the pocket and looks to run rather than looking at options 2,3 or 4
