Hi! I'm 22 years old, 4'9 and I weigh 110. I'm not interested in losing a lot of weight obviously but I'm having a hard time losing weight in my stomach. I'd also like to tone the rest of my body (thighs, arms, calves, etc...basically just get a nice beach body). My husband's in afghanistan until July so I'd like to use the time while he's away to get in shape and get my body looking the best I can :) I'm interested in getting a fat burner and muscle builder but I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine and don't want to take something that would make me feel jittery, it can have caffeine just not so much or I'll get sick. Also, what would you ladies reccomend as far as fat burners and muscle builders go? Thanks for the help!!

Your nutrition and training program is going to effect that more than any supplement. However, Lean Xtreme should help both the fat loss and muscle gain - it has no stimulants and is excellent for improving body composition.

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) is a great supplement and contains no caffeine.

CLA has been shown not to have any effect of fat loss unless you're obese.

Any brand that usually uses the Tonalin brand of CLA is good.

CLA has been shown not to have any effect of fat loss unless you're obese.

It's true that the initial study was done on obese people, but there was a secondary study later. (I work for a natural health products company). Perhaps this is research done in Canada....but regardless, here are the details....

"In a study of 20 healthy, normal-weight men and women who exercised intensely for 90 minutes three times weekly, taking CLA daily helped them lose up to 4 percent of their body fat in 12 weeks. Another study showed that intense exercise combined with CLA supported fat loss better than exercise alone."

Up to 4% means any amount less than 4%, including <1%. What was the average? Was there a placebo group? How much did they lose? What were the parameters? Dietary restrictions? Honestly curious. Thank you. :)
