Over the last 2 1/2 years I've lost just over 100 lbs and a total 130 lbs over the last 4 years with a pregnancy thrown in there. I'm 5'6" around 140 lbs, 35/29/36 size 8/10 and an estimated BF (via the gym) of 21.5%. At this point I really don't want to lose anymore weight, but I'm still unhappy with the amount of fat on my abdomen. I know spot reduction isn't possible, but that I can do something about my body composition. Although, I'm not really sure how that works. I know how to lose weight, but not how to lose fat...if that makes sense. And because I have lost a lot of weight I'm not really sure it's going to be worth it since I do have some loose skin, hence the comment of just getting over it and accepting the body I have now. Regardless, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on where I should go from here.
My program now, which is a maintenance program, is 1800-2000 cals M-F and 2500-3000 S/Su. I eat as cleanly as possible and try to keep the processed foods out of my diet. I run 3-5 miles 3xs a week, strength train 2xs a week, yoga 1x a week and run a long run of 8-10 miles 1x a week. Because of my work schedule and family, there isn't much I can change about my schedule. So I can't add any additional strength training, but I can strength train differently on the days I do and if there are changes that need to made to my diet I can do that too.
So I'm just looking for some suggestions and/or recommendations of books or websites on how to change body composition. Thanks!
